I thought the build on Doc Ock's mech was quite fun. It might get a tad repetitive towards the end but the parts that do really don't take too long to build and it looks pretty cool in the flesh! I've got him down in my little geek room holding a Spidey upside down next to the bridge set!

Hahaha this actually cracked me up and made me laugh out loud at my desk. I agree.. although she's not a favourite character of mine, I'd always welcome getting a minifig of her. Bring on everything they can release!

My other half got me the Civil War Spidey set at the weekend - she's a winner! Ordered up a custom Daredevil today so that should be here soon enough too. Lego done for the month!

I'm confused too.. I thought the Cap in the Cap set was normal Cap not Sam Cap if you're following that!

Sorry all - just caught back up with this thread! I ended up sticking with the glass frames! I like the look it gives (even if it is a battle to get some to stay in at times!). They are just IKEA Ribba frames (50cm x 50cm) - I just stuck a 48 x 48 stud grey baseplate centrally and then used slope bricks to hold the minifigures on as it meant their capes could rest down the back of the slope without getting damaged. I wasn't sure how to do this when I first saw it either! I asked a while back on these forums and was told to try 3mm rigid hose tubing cut down to size (apologies - I can't remember who told me! Dr. Spock maybe?) and it's worked a treat. 2 flippers on the end and then the minifigure holds a bit of the tubing. Keeps it all nice and neat :). The BrickLink numbers are the ones I go for as it's nice and easy to follow. I do slide my customs in where I see fit though. I tried to put say all the Iron Man armours together etc but every time a new one would come out I'd have to move everything along 1 place which meant taking everything apart.. became a bit of hassle! How did you work out your own code? A few updated pics of mine since I've added new official minifigs and some more customs.. Yep it's not UK from what I can see either - we've got the little city race thing mentioned above and I believe they are only offering double VIP points on 2 sets :( would have ordered something if it was double!

What's the deal with these activity books, will they release in the UK at all do you know? I've seen that there's another one with Superman. Looks identical to one we've already got (comic wise) and has a head with a grin one one side and red eyes on the other which we've had before on separate heads but not together on one head and it's been given a new number listing on BrickLink (sh300).
