Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!
Captain Britain replied to c0rnedfr0g's topic in LEGO Licensed
Quick update pic I took last night. Not the tidiest as they all taken out of their frames but was nice to get all of them in one pic. I managed to get everything back in frames after but for some I'm having trouble with some figs dropping out all of a sudden which is a bit irritating as it means I need to crack everything back open. I'm toying with either removing the glass or going for something a little different instead (as per the second pic - found it online and thought it might be quite neat). Anyway.. my updated collection! I'll be adding the 4th Civil War set soon and I just found out there is now ANOTHER Superman.. he looks identical to what we've already got and we've got the head prints before (smile one side / red eyes the other) but not on the same head so I'll have to try pick him up too eventually listed as sh300 on Bricklink but nobody has it for sale and I have no idea where to get it?! Happy days! That's a neat little Marvel haul! Picked up the Dr. Strange set myself the other day from Argos and really enjoyed it. The tentacle monster is really cool + great minifigs. -

I know how you feel. I moved over a year ago and I've still got some boxes in the garage and shed! Sounds like you've been busy adding to your collection though! -
Just picked up the Dr. Strange set from Argos. Box looked good! Looking forward to getting it put together later on tonight.

Not sure how I missed your last post, nice collection Duncan! I've picked up the Killer Croc DC set now too. Definitely prefer the Scarecrow set to it but the minifigs are still great. Waiting for a could of bits to come through from Bricklink and S@H so will post some updates soon myself (been meaning too for a while!). Anybody else got any to share? -
Ordered a couple more custom minifigs! And I picked up the DC Killer Croc dentures of doom set for the minifigs along with a baseplate and more bricks for a 5th frame. Looking forward to getting the new frame put together and all my customs loaded in. Guess I'll pick up the new Marvel sets next week too.. seeing as it's my birthday, got to treat myself right?!

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Captain Britain replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not quite a Lego purchase as such, as I've had the UCS Slave 1 for a little while now, but today I went to Star Wars Celebration... So it was only right that I get the main man himself to sign his own ship! Jeremy Bulloch autograph on the Slave 1 canopy :) he even picked a green to blend in! Pleasure to meet such a nice guy. Snore - I was just trying to find out if it was a UCS or not, appreciate it may have been the wrong thread for it so apologise for that but I'm sure a report button click goes much further than a sarky comment . -

I thought it was UCS too? It has the little fact plate and even in the Brickset link they call it a UCS? http://brickset.com/sets/76042-1/UCS-Helicarrier -

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

USC Milano for the win! I'd love to have a huge Milano. I ended up selling my one off because a) my cat knocked it off my shelf, and B) I didn't know where to place it if I rebuilt it once I moved as my display areas became limited at first. In the end I lumped it all in with other bricks I was selling. I'm really tempted to pick up another one now I'm all settled in though! Would love to pick up the Helicarrier too. -

I second with the draining finances part haha. I didn't realise about the metallic print on digital until the black suit superman arrives. I still think it's an awesome minifig and happy to own it but it did surprise me at first. -

Took me a long time to decide too. It was Spider-Gwen that snowballed it for me really and now I'm a bit addicted. Glad you like the frame ideas mate -

Of course will do. I was originally planning on ordering more tham 3 but tied myself down to just 3 in the end. I thought I'd grab a bunch then sell them on so people could get some without paying the massive postage they charged and it also eases the postage to me but for some reason I didn't bother in the end.. silly . Would have been a nice win/win for everyone. Firestartoys do a version - I've got one myself but didn't like how it looked. http://www.firestartoys.com/Shop/Minifigure-Parts/Minifigure-Custom-Design-Heads/30684-Custom-Mini-Figure-Heads-~-Spiderman-~-Black.html -

Yes - ordered 3, used 1, sold 1 and will probably use the 3rd for an unmasked version. -

Yep all customs. I had a couple from Christo but didn't really get into them and decided to just continue on with the official Lego releases, but it was in fact Robianco that got me into customs from seeing his on here! I got a couple from him but the bulk of the rest from minifigures.co.uk (who Robianco recommended also). Black Bolt is by NACM The Punishers torso/hips are by Muddy River Minifigs and I got a Syndrome minifig and rubbed off the print from his legs and arms to add those Symbiote Spidey's head is from Poppunkmunky and then the rest is Venoms torso/arms/legs The Collector and Scarlet Spider are by Phoenix Customs Then finally Black Suit Supes, Bizarro and Sam Wilson are by Onlinesailin I got all from minifigures.co.uk apart from Punisher/The Collector/Scarlet Spider. I also got the Spider-Gwen from my profile pic from there. In my frames I've also got a Green Lantern, Red Skull and Carnage custom from Christo. I'm only just starting off getting into them though - I've picked Robianco's brains a couple of times who has pointed me in the right direction for customisers so hopefully he see's this post and can throw some advice out for you guys -

Would be interested to see the shelving system! That's another method I saw online which looked really good. Look forward to seeing it. A quick pic of some of my customs I need to add into my frames still. Addicted to these things now! Some of my growing custom collection by CaptainBritainDJW, on Flickr -
Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Captain Britain replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
Think it's just the blu-ray unfortunately. The DVD looks to come with a sticker sheet instead of the minifigure.. winner . When I got the trickster one I kept the fig, sold the blu-ray on ebay and also sold the ultra violet download code on ebay too! Not sure if you're allowed to sell codes? I messaged him the code as soon as he paid anyway and got positive feedback so all good.
