Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Captain Britain replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd like to know that too.. I'm hoping we get this one and maybe a shouting/angry face one. I think they look brilliant, cool little new piece :). Hoping we get the large fin on Yondu too instead of a short flatter one. These are all looking awesome though, glad it's a new Milano! My cat knocked the old one off my shelf a while ago and I just ended up dumping it into a pile with other broken down sets and selling it :( wish I kept it. Still tempted to pick it back up. Wonder if I can get creative and create a bigger one! It looks fixed to me personally- 5,808 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Captain Britain replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice work on feeling them all correct. I was absolutely useless thought I had Glam Bat and it was Orca,, don't ask! I have noticed that too.. not sure why. Same with Barbara not having her Bat button thing too. Catmans legs make a nice addition to the last Wolverine we got though . -
Come on now, thats a ridiculous post. You want the mods to take you seriously but you give them answers like that.. I agree sometimes it seems like the mods can come across quite strong but as a whole I think this forum works excellently, and in the cases I've contacted mods myself they've been extremely helpful. I have to admit though, sometimes I see some of your posts and they seem like you are trying to troll a little, or at least cause a stir for fun. At the end of the day we're here to enjoy one thing, Lego! So let's just all try and get along eh?

Eurobricks Event 2017 - Final Dates and Location
Captain Britain replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Never been to an EB event before, but they do seem pretty cool! This would be an awesome little road trip over from the UK too, just under 11 hours it seems . Does anyone know roughly how much the hotel is? Also not part of a LUG and interested to learn a bit more about these! I also found Germany to be excellent for travel train wise when I was there a couple of years ago. Not sure if you'll be grabbing a train when you're at the other end in Munich? My experience would be from trains in Berlin. Also had to stick the ticket in a little machine to get it validated which I saw a few people forget and get caught out whilst on the train! -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Captain Britain replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Haha, it's either Bluewater or Brighton for me - neither take too long first thing on a Saturday morning when the roads are clear (plus Bluewater has a Five Guys which is easier to get to tradition seems to be Lego for me, Levi for my other half, then Five Guys for lunch). I went on Jan 1st so it was the day of release but yeah they seemed to have loads. The till had them all around so people were grabbing them as they paid, then staff members were walking around with a box each offering them to people in the queues along with a couple of boxes near the entrance. Not sure what they'll be like now. -

I've been looking / asking about key rings for this theme and have had no luck, so nice to see they are available and in the UK! I had a good search when the sets got released and nothing at Bluewater, but might be now I guess. Nothing on the Lego website though! -

Hulk vs Red Hulk 375 pcs @ £54.99/59.99Euro!!...
Captain Britain replied to r5-j2's topic in LEGO Licensed
Feels very expensive to me too - I do want all of the figs (love that She-Hulk!) but I think for me I'll be waiting for an Argos 3 for 2 or something and picking it up that way. I bet the minifigs by themselves on Bricklink or something cost almost as much as the set anyway! -

Definitely - I have no idea why the used that connection instead of one that would mean they click together perfectly. Like you said, easy fix but it did seem rather lazy. There's almost no point at all having the peg sticking out! -

Just looked at my jokers and definitely agree! It does look a little duller. -
Alright.. the mug is 8cm dia, and a stud on top of the clock is 2.5cm. So, as I said..

I don't know if anyone else found this but I really struggled to feel who was who this time round! I was fine with the Disney lot but maybe they were much easier. Admittedly I grabbed 20 bags first off and luckily got 15/20 but that was pure luck! I had a go at feeling them whilst in the queue but I was completely oblivious and didn't have a clue. When I went back for the remaining 5 I think the only one I managed to pick out was Caveman Bats with his club, would have been stuffed without the Lego employee picking out the 5 I needed! -

Nice on, you found some! You'll have to let me know what the Croc and Clayface sets are like. I struggled to find Orca for some reason, one of the employees in store ended up finding him but he took a while too.. the others in the box must have been nabbed before we got to it. -

Cheers for the heads up! Jokers Lowrider for Feb it is! -
Picked up a little haul on New Years Day.. 70912 - Arkham Asylum 70903 - The Riddler Riddle Racer 70902 - Catwoman Catcycle Chase 70900 The Joker Balloon Escape aaand all 20 of the LBM CMF's. Initially picked up 20 bags without checking and managed 15/20! Couldn't leave it with just 5 left so sent my other half back in to get the remaining 5 (there was a 20 per customer limit). Luckily the store had quietened down by then so an employee was there helping out and feeling the bags to confirm who was who.

Nowhere near me has any of the sets other than Lego store - checked the likes of Argos/Smyths etc and all say out of stock or due 10th-17th Jan. Luckily I've got 2 stores within 30/40mins of me so was able to nab a few bits. It was all flying off the shelves though! -
I'm 99% sure they won't fit together. I've never seen the mug in person before but I'm assuming it's regular mug size (and in relation doesn't have a tiny stud indent underneath). The clock on the other hand I have at home, and the studs aren't really that big, plus one of the studs is the alarm button. And I can't imagine they'd want something holding liquid to go on something with electronics inside

Those colours on Bunny Bats, love it! And it's just made me realise I've put the belt on my figures the wrong way round.. damn it! Anyone else found their Batman with the rubber duck ring doesn't hold together well at the waist due to the ring? -

I'll keep my eyes peeled! ive built the Riddler racer and think it's a pretty cool vehicle! Just working my way through Arkham Asylum and so far that's coming together nicely too! Really enjoying the builds. Who else picked some bits up from the UK today? -

I've got 4/5 duplicates from the CMF lot if you need to pick any up from me. King Tut, Comm. Gordon, Eraser, and Mime. I got a spare Cavman Bats but the cape was folded in half in the bag!
