DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
Captain Britain replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Definitely happy with Killer Croc being a bigfig! I do like it when we get the bigfig and a minifig variant like we did with Hulk but as he is much larger it does represent him much better!- 8,446 replies

Does anyone know when we're likely to get details on when VIP cards can pick this set up? -
Have you ever felt judged for liking LEGO?
Captain Britain replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in Community
Yep! But I got the minifigs I wanted and they are sitting nicely in their frames so I'm happy :). I guess there will always be someone about who will judge you on something, whatever it may be!- 107 replies

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Captain Britain replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Apologies - didn't mean to cause any upset on the fact that they came through free. I have used the B&P page a couple of times before and always paid for everything, and if I couldn't find it I have emailed Lego direct and sorted bits out (one occasion being a sticker set for the UCS Slave 1, which in fact I asked to buy and they actually refused and said they would post it out free of charge). When I couldn't find the buy link I thought it had gone and didn't think to check back here, I didn't intentionally go on there to 'cheat the system' and ruin it. -
Think it will be the Batcave! And maybe one of the BvS sets or Avenger sets. Got a tiny little savings pot at home that's calling out to me! Gotta collect 'em all

Luckiest find I've had was on eBay.. I tend to scout about on eBay looking for minifigs I need and ended up coming across somebody selling a frame with 50+ in (all DC). Ended up picking it up for £140, took out the 10/11 I needed (Two Face, Harleen Quinzell, Joker in jumpsuit etc.. the older rarer ones!) and offloaded the rest for £200 on eBay! Free minifigs and profit!

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Captain Britain replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Had a bit of a result with the Bricks & Pieces store! Saw someone mention earlier in the thread (apologies - forgotten the name!) that they had Nick Fury's body and Maria Hill's body/hair on there. I collect the Superhero minifigs but wasn't going to buy this set due to the cost/space to put it so knew I'd have to BrickLink them. When I saw this I went on the B&P store and noticed there wasn't the option to buy (didn't think to check back here and see they were closed!) so went through the broken section part. Added in Nick Fury's legs and torso, along with Maria Hills legs, torso and hair. In the reason section I didn't know what to put.. I wanted to buy them! In the end I just stuck a full stop in and continued through. Few days later? Dispatch email pops through and they turn up on my door step! Thank you Lego :D. -

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Captain Britain replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I picked up a couple of bootlegs when I first started collecting and some are actually nicely done! Iron Man Mk 1 is my favourite one - haven't seen any faults with it really. Along with Jean Grey. The Fantastic Four Spidey I picked up was pretty poor though.. -

100%! Either questioned on "why.. it's a bit silly" or "that's a waste of money". Last year Argos (UK) done one of their regular 3 for 2 deals which includes all Lego. Now I collect the minifigs and either sell on the sets on eBay or if it's one I like (like the Hulkbuster suit for example) I'll keep hold of it. At this current time I needed quite a few of the new Superheroes they had released so I reversed 9 different sets online and then went in to pick them up. Whilst they were all coming down the ramp and being pilled up I heard a woman go "Someone clearly has more money than sense". Even though I shouldn't have I felt awkward going up and grabbing it after overhearing that!- 107 replies

That Spidey loves a polybag! Shame it wasn't a symbiote taking over his regular suit type thing.- 8,446 replies

Looking forward to getting the new Batman sets to add the minifigs to my collection! Love the new Batmobile so can't wait to pick that set up. The Batcave is going to be a bit of a stretch though although I absolutely love that Batman minifig!- 8,446 replies

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Captain Britain replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Think my last Star Wars purchase may have actually been an Admiral Ackbar minifig from BrickLink! It's a trap!! -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Haha - I originally set out to collect the entire line of Superhero minifigs (excluding Comic Con exclusives... those are a bit of a pain to get from over the pond!) and I almost caught up until the 2016 sets all got released (think I was 3 short before they dropped!). Personally I'm really looking forward to the Civil War sets and the new War Machine / Iron Man but can understand why they'd be skipped over the comic based ones. Been reading this forum for a couple of months before joining up, appreciate all the news and updates everyone provides! . -

All these new sets are going to put a serious dent in my wallet but I must collect all the minifigs! First post by the way! Hi all!
