How much are the ones in the UK jumping up to?!

Not the biggest horror story but thought I'd share anyway! When I was looking to fill up my back catalogue of minifigures I'd missed from the Super Hero theme I picked up a few of them from eBay. One in particular was Mary Jane Watson from 76016. Now it wasn't expensive to buy her minifigure new from most places but I found one listing that was a little cheaper and also listed the minifigure as new.. bingo! The order was placed. It wasn't a minifigure I was overly excited about but the OCD in me needed to fill the hole so when it turned up I was eager to open the packet. Tipped out the minifigure and from the off I could see this wasn't going to be a great experience. She had a massive dent in the front of her face where it looks like the head has been pulled off using teeth - likewise the same indentation was in the back of the head. The hair also felt very loose... I pulled the hair off to have a look and what did I find in the little recessed part? Bluetack with a nice short stubby wiry hair . Cheers seller...! Thankfully they refunded the money in full and didn't want it back (not even the curly wurly - go me right? Freebie) but it's safe to say I don't think anybody else wanted that either so I disposed of the head and hair (both hairs!) and kept the torso and legs for a rainy day - Never know when you might need a new torso! I've also had Power Man turn up looking like he'd been run over (Guess he doesn't really have unbreakable skin) and Batman with a big stick of blue plastic stuck up his leg?! Go figure..

Awesome collection you've been growing! I just picked up another Silver Centurion off eBay so I can get the black eyed Tony Stark and make a bit more of a Civil War accurate Iron Man for a little moc I'm going to try and put together.

Another Silver Centurion purely for the bruised eye... doh!

Where did you pick your customs up from mate? I like the idea about year of debut too!

That's cool don't worry. Quite a nice idea to have the local carpenter do it, I never thought about that and I work with them daily in my line of work! So are yours glass on the front but open on the back to get easier access? It is a bit of a pain having to take the frame apart to get mine in each time. I've left my current frame open until I fill it so the back just falls out at the moment. Yeah you've got the Civil War Spider-Man on the far left which is the official Lego fig, then 2nd is Daredevil by Onlinesailin, 3rd is Deadpool by Phoenix Customs and the last one on the right hand side is Deathlok by KO Customs.

Very neat! I like the idea of the shelves grooved out to take a 2x4 tile. How have you fixed the shelves within the RIBBA frame?

That's shocking!! Someone must have got the official set out and whacked in a dodgy set and sent it back. I've used Amazon Warehouse before and they've always been fantastic. I picked up a Captain America set a while back that had a 'damaged box' - was absolutely mint!!

Not sure if this will help anyone or not but it's quite nifty..! If you've got a Cineworld Unlimited card it gives you discounts for local places - mostly food to be fair but I checked what discounts I can get locally and it offers 10% off ANYTHING in Toy Barnhaus that's not in a sale or promotion. So, all Lego is 10% off! Happy days...
