  1. Wonderful design! I usually don't mind studs showing, but it's a little overpowering here. Other than that though it really is fantastic.
  2. I really loved all the villains and the Batgirl variant
  3. These are really good! Love Lizard the most!
  4. I definitely feel the versatility of the new helmet makes it the better option. I never had any issues with the old helmet, but as soon as I saw the new mold with the ANAD Iron Man print I feel in love with it. Hopefully we will see more comic inspired Iron Man figures now.
  5. Haha I definitely thought the same thing when I saw that. Personally, even though I think Arkham is a really cool set I'm probably going to pass on it. I think it was said that Two-Face was the only villain who won't be in another set and since there are so many sets for this movie it's be just too expensive to buy them all.
  6. I imagine they're the same ones from the Freeze sets in a different color. Love all these sets, but the jet looks bad. The wings aren't solid enough for my tastes.
  7. No Marvel movie sets were made until the Avengers. I believe those were some of the first LEGO Marvel sets too. Only 5 Marvel movies have had more than one set and only Ant-Man and Doctor Strange have had one set. Give it time. If these sell well (and of course they will) then we'll probably see more for each movie.
  8. Just saw a behind the scenes clip from Captain America: Civil War that showed that they hadn't changed the spider symbol on Spider-Man's costume from what it looks like on his LEGO figure to how it looks in the movie until post production. So even if LEGO was on set instead of getting concept art, they couldn't have made it with the final spider symbol. Just thought it was interesting. http://comicbook.com/2016/09/05/captain-america-civil-war-behind-the-scenes-video-highlights-spi/
  9. I think you may want to reread that... Batman would be a Justice League member that the LEGO Batman Movie wouldn't work without and who would show up a lot in the sets
  10. I'm guessing the JL will have a small role in the movie then. Makes sense that Bats would be the focus of his own movie sets (obviously). Catanas, sorry to add to the bombardment of questions aimed at you, but did you happen to notice if there were a lot of dual-molded legs in the sets?
  11. The Ninjago bigfig is actually a female that was transformed into the villain Dogshank in order to win a race. So even though it doesn't look like it, Dogshank is the first female bigfig.
  12. Realistically the bigfig heads aren't that much larger than Iron Man's helmet. I don't see it as an issue. I'm worried more about the fact that the minifig will be integral to the brick built figure design, unlike the Hulkbuster suit where you could separate the two.
  13. Even though it's a minidoll set, that definitely makes sense based on how he's looked in the trailers.
  14. I quite like the builds as well. Like I said when they first were unveiled, they feel kind of Mad Max to me. It's definitely not something that would be universally liked though.
  15. That's what came to mind for me too. It would fit with Ms. Marvel being released in the same wave.
  16. I would imagine it would be brick built.
  17. I was pretty sure Sir Von Lego said that the minifig outside of the plane had wings and the pilot had Cap's shield. That was how I read his second comment at least.
  18. I actually prefer the Superman hair on Doctor Strange. Someone on here (I can't remember who) had suggested it and I'm really digging it.
  19. I'm really excited. I love having more Shield characters. Having Coulson, Fury and Maria Hill is really exciting for me personally. I do understand the point of rather having more recent characters though. I would LOVE a Daredevil.
  20. Green Arrow is a DC character which is owned by WB. He isn't the version of the character from Arrow which is on a channel, CW, co-owned by WB and CBS anyway.
  21. I was hoping/thinking more $50 or $60 and $20. I'd compare the Joker set to the Green Lantern set.
  22. LEGO posted higher quality photos on their Facebook page a few minutes ago.
  23. So are these confirmed as full sets like the MM and Hulk set or are these like the Batmobile last year where it was only part of the set? It feels like both could have a little more to them. Not that they necessarily need more to them, just that LEGO usually balances sets more. I'd at least expect a small build for Man Bat and the twins and one for Batgirl.
  24. Looks like the Batmobile "Speedwagon" might be partially inspired by the Arkham Knight Batmobile, it looks like you could turn the wheels 90 degrees and move side to side. Not sure if that's an intentional design or not, but it would fit with the whole "Easter Egg" theme of the movie.
  25. Wow. Those minifigs are FANTASTIC. Part of me wishes that Man-Bat was an update but that Batgirl is perfect. I almost bought a custom New 52 Batgirl but I'm glad I held off now. The builds are pretty good too, there are definitely things I wish were different about each, but overall they're exactly as crazy as I had expected and hoped for.
