  1. Sounds cool! Mine is basically just the Joker bot from a TRU promotion a couple years ago with that big sword.
  2. Finally took pictures of my displays! My pictures are apparently too large to upload in a post and I'm on my phone right now, but I've just posted a ton of pictures on my Flickr account. Here's the DC display: And the Marvel one: There's a second half to the DC one, but it's still early stage WIP so I didn't take any pictures.
  3. Every single time I feel for a character that happens to me! A cashier once talked me into opening one in front of her to prove I was right haha
  4. Nice! The Catwoman and Poison Ivy ones were my favorites.
  5. Yeah I do mine as a scene and they take up SOOOOO much space. The DC and Marvel ones take up about 4 feet of shelving each, but I absolutely LOVE how it looks and packing it with details.
  6. Only in the same series, i.e. Series 15 all have the same barcode and the Disney series all have the same barcode, but S15 and Disney don't. Stores may not assign new codes for their system though. So Target may label all minifig series with the same number in their system (I don't know if that's true, just an example).
  7. They do actually "get in trouble", but really all that is is a fine which means basically nothing to them, and that's only if the company that is selling put the release date in their registers. And the fine is typically small enough that they don't even care. I bought the Iron Skull sub a week early in PA at a TRU and they had to call a manager to override (at my old store we would have politely told them we made a mistake and they can't buy it) and the manager just gave me a "oh, you have to get it a week early?" and then overrode the system anyway. Street dates are a joke for most big stores. One Canadian TRU sold The Force Awakens toys a solid month before Force Friday last year.
  8. Love it! It feels like something that could show up in a Scooby Doo show!
  9. I have been using 1379 since that is what CM4Sci posted a few pages ago (p 135).
  10. Also Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland Targets have them in stock it seems. If there is a Target in your area I would check it, all the zip codes I've put in have shown multiple stores in the area with them in stock.
  11. Honestly this would be a good set if not for the price. $200 for 1600 pieces? That's 12.5 cents per piece, even worse than the overpriced Helicarrier. That is Star Wars UCS overpricing for a Minecraft set
  12. I'll post my display soon, I finally took pictures of both DC and Marvel on Sunday but I haven't had time to prep everything yet. I took so many pictures I'm going to have to make a Flickr haha
  13. Honestly if it's a desert Batmobile and Lazarus Pits I would love that. Maybe a Bat-quad or something could be pretty sweet too.
  14. Wow, that really does look significantly better to me. Those are definitely my least favorite faces, I guess it must have been the teeth.
  15. I've been meaning to for a while! When I get a chance this weekend I'll put some up (hopefully).
  16. Yeah the Russo brothers confirmed she wouldn't be in the movie, even though she was originally planned to. They decided not to introduce another new hero in the movie.
  17. I just redid my Marvel display around the time we first saw the bridge and I left a spot for it because it's going to be a day one purchase for me.
  18. Haha that was the link! I tried uploading it directly but it won't let me upload .gif files.
  19. The piece Captain Britain suggested, Part 62810, would be my other suggestion as well if you don't like the first piece http://giphy.com/gifs/PCgGxkNdjVbs4
  20. It's not extremely accurate, but I think what would look best would be the black, slicked-back hair from the Mandarin minifig (and others).
  21. Plus I'd personally rather have pieces I could reuse to make other figures as well.
  22. LEGO probably cares about reusability since molds do cause them quite a large amount of money. They almost went out of business because they were making multiple new molds for most sets back in the early 2000's or late 1990's.
  23. I'm gonna buy about half a box for a set of the characters and parts. Plus a couple extra Stitch so I can have one everywhere haha. Also, it's great that there are 4 Mr. Incredible per box. Even if his body isn't great for the other members of the family, I will probably still make my own versions of them.
