Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

I get the same vibes from her torso piece! I don't know if her armour piece is new or not but I can definitely see that being useful too. -

Yes, these! Prior to the latest UCS Star Destroyer they hadn't been available in LBG for over a decade! -

You have a very good point. The figure still looks great from this angle but I fear it might have some weird proportions from some angles, like the new Stormtrooper helmets. Edit: I am still very excited about both the knight and viking! -

Apparently I still had items in my cart which allowed me to edit it. The orange pumpkins were back in stock so I got some of those along with 20 or so of the LIGHT BLUISH GRAY levers. I haven't seen those in a set for years so I was really excited to see those! Also picked up one of those cool folded hoods and some other items. I'm not in any hurry to receive these items, just happy that I managed to pick them up while they are still available. -

I finally got B&P working and I found out that the pumpkins are sold out. I was really hoping to get a couple of orange ones! :c -

That's the same error I was facing all weekend. Seems like it wasn't just me then! Just gonna wait it out. -
At first glance I thought you used the two-headed armor from BrickWarriors for the left orc ogre and thought "cool, I gotta get me one of those". But then I realised that it's all brick-built. It looks very fragile but it really does look amazing for a photograph!

I was very intrigued by the fact that you could pick up white and brown horses from Bricks & Pieces. While I have two of the white ones from the Harry Potter set I never picked up any LOTR sets for the brown ones back in the day. I have tried to source a couple from Bricklink but with shipping and such they quickly cost nearly as much. HOWEVER, I have not managed to even reach the Bricks & Pieces service all weekend - I only face errors whenever I try! -
I am very excited! And as others have said, let's all hope for a goat.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Since people seem to be discussing it here: At the moment Bricks & Pieces seems to only be available in the US, UK, Germany and Switzerland. I have gotten error messages all week and now it seems to be disabled entirely? -
Hey, I was checking out the updated instructions just now. I'm not gonna update my 2.5's any time soon but I figured I'd check it out at least. I can see amongst the "Extras" you got some alternative builds just like previous iterations. Specifically my question is regarding the two big wedge plates used for the roof and the dishes on the sides. The wedge plates, 2413, are still present in the "Extras" file. As for the dishes holding the cannons, I managed to find 10 (!!) 6942 really cheap when building mine last year but I know that those were also hard to come by. Are the flatter and slightly bigger dishes an alternative because of availability or would you say that they are more accurate? Obviously I'd wanna stick with the pieces I already have if I ever decide to update but I also want the most accurate version possible. And there is no one better to ask than the AT-ST expert himself! Edit: The new hatch on the roof, which looks great, does not seem to be compatible with the older roof.

That update looks real good (as usual)! I already have two of your v2.5s built. This is difficult, to update or not to update.
-
Judging by the sets it has appeared in it would seem as if it was created for that very purpose!
-
Wonderful build! Utilizing the Mimban troopers for a WWI-inspired MOC has definitely been on my mind - but unlike you I lack the figures!

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Frike replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I do find it kind of strange to release new versions of the AT-AP and Droid Gunship already (just like the Homing Spider Droid which was barely changed). However, I just saw images of those AAT driver droids. I have wanted those for a decade now, I am actually excited about this now! :) -
I am currently in the process of building v2.5. Scrolling through photos of previous versions I see that some have a mounted gun at the top. Would you mind telling me what piece you used to attach it to the railing? I can't seem to figure it out while waiting for parts to arrive.
-
That looks great, I hope I can scrap these pieces together later!
-
I think you've got the right idea. Jumpsuits get logos, tunics do not. However it doesn't help that the costumes seem to be terribly inconsistent between each movie. Ideally FireStarToys would release both their prints on black and grey arms, that would solve those issues.
-
Guess I'm off to purchase some printed arms then!
-
Shouldn't this print, with those cylinders and a datapad, be on black arms for Imperial pilots (possibly the ground crew from Rogue One too)? I would very much like Imperial logos on my AT-ST drivers and technicians but the grey arms should just be plain like the other print that they are selling.
-
Looks like minifigcat for the rifle and shoulder pad. The clip is probably from BrickArms and I am unsure of what is being used as the scope. ... and now I am torn between BrickArms's MG34 or that rifle for a DLT-19.
-
Grey arms for these guys? Do they do special requests? If so, that would be absolutely fantastic! EDIT: Fixed the link.
-
I have a question to those that have purchased the Rebel Pilot or Imperial Worker arms from FireStarToys. They look absolutely stunning but how is the actual printing compared to LEGO? Judging by the pictures on their site the printing looks almost jagged or maybe even grainy (I don't really know how to describe it). The texture also looks like you could probably actually feel the print. Not gonna lie, I would gladly pay £1.95 for a pair, but so far the images are kind of putting me off.

I was very satisfied with the official LEGO set of this frigate. Needless to say, this looks like an even more impressive display piece!

I watched some of your livestreams when building this monster. It looks even better than I imagined it! If I had the funds I would definitely consider building this beast. I really like the Rebels TV show but I love how you incorporated details from its appearance in Rogue One.
