The problem with the OPs design for me is that it doesn't look or feel like 'Lego.' Sure it's using Lego spheres, but not many people would catch onto that. It's halfway between Lego and a third party company. If I were to choose the most accurate looking model with play features I'd get something else. If I want a Lego BB-8 I want it to look the part of that makes sense?

This just goes to show how little Lego really cares about what people think. 'Feed them dirt and they'll still ask for butter. Muahahahaha'

With all this attention to Marvel SH I wonder why Lego hasn't made more X-Men sets. Is this because the previous 2 didn't sell well? I would love a UCS X-Mansion, Danger Room or Blackbird

I'm in the same boat. Absolutely loved the series as a kid but sadly never could afford the toys. I would totally buy every set they made if ever it becomes a theme.

I came out of my dark age fairly recently so most of them are fairly new: 5. Jek Porkins 4. Kylo Ren (Takodana) 3. White Boba Fett (DK) 2. Darth Vader (75093) 1. Captain Phasma

This is definitely one of my favorites scenes in all of the OT. Took me awhile to get all the parts but so far I'm fairly pleased with the result. I started with set #75093 and slowly branched out from there. Originally I had some walls extending from the bottom of the stairs area to the sides but I felt like it made everything squished and harder to see. I believe I used about 1,600 - 1,800 pieces in total. The hardest part was finding the colors I needed without killing the budget. Eventually I'd like to use more tiles to smooth out the floors but man, they are hard to find in the same store(s). Any feedback on how I can improve it is most welcome!

Do you guys display your DC sets of just the Minifigs? Running out of room in my place and I have about 10-12 unopened boxes that I'd like to build

What do you guys do with sets? Do you display them, tear down the parts for Mocs, it just save the Minifigs and sell the rest?

My collection has become a living organism which has occupied most of my living space and bedroom. The biggest issue is really the empty boxes stacked in the corner of the room. I want to flatten them all but I also like the idea of being able to sell some of the collection if I ever need the money. Does flattening the box hurt its value?
