    Signed! I guess it won´t help much, but maybe there´s a slight chance that (if enough signatures get collected) that TLG will produce one "one-off" set a la "Lego Ideas"?! Please Lego don´t make us spend our hard earned cash on custom figures that will most likely appear once the line is announced dead!!!! Ah yeah, i´ve posted the link to the petition on "1000steine.de" and "imperiumdersteine" the two most active Lego Forums in Germany!

    Whoa this thread goes in circles for dozens of pages! I'm also desperate for a last Lotr wave but posting your "dream"sets every 4-5pages doesn't make it real! I'm pretty sure we won't see another D2C Lotr set (Orthanc is still on the shelves) and we all know that TLG made a huge mistake with their 2.wave so what's the meaning of rewriting the same things over and over again when there are no signs of a 3.wave?

    It makes me kinda sad when i think about the fact that the upcoming Hobbit sets (figures) might be the last (new) thing we will see from the Tolkien universe translated into Lego :( Every figure that will not be in any of the named sets will most likely never ever get produced!

    Have other previous released licensed themes officially announced when they were about to end? Or do they simple disappear? When i look at shelves at the brand stores i sadly think that LotR is done with only 4 available sets

    Do i spot a dark bl.grey parrot on Metalbeard´s shoulder? Cafe Corner was the last set it came in and it became rather pricey on BL!

    People, ya´ll shall keep in mind that these are Prelim-pics! They show very often replacement-figs/parts that will look totally different in the final set! Even if Grievous looks white in the pic we will not know if he will look that way in the final product. Those questions/discussions are the reason prelim-pics are not made for public!

    No disrespect but i guess you´ve quoted some of the prices way to low! From what i know the Troopers for example are new versions and this will be the only set to get them! Also you gotta keep in mind when selling the figures ASAP after their release they will fetch higher prices than let´s say after 3 month of release! The Leia Minifigure alone will def. not selling below $12-15 since she ´s all exclusive in this (expensive)set! You can´t compare the #8038 prices to a D2C-set like the Ewok-Village! If i would sell the lot of Figures i would def. ask for $100 at least!

    Co-signed! I´ve bought all sets of this wave and especially "Duel on Geo." is a really nice set when it comes to the Minifigures! C´mon a non Clone Wars Yoda with a printed face is a must ;) and Dokuu also looks pretty on spot! Interesting fact for the MOCers it contains 8x http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3038&in=S in Light Bluis Grey which seems to be a piece which is getting more and more expensive (maybe because you need 11 of them for #10179 ?!)!

    Are the Wheels on the Defender the same ones that were used on the UCS Star Destroyer? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2573 These are pretty rare and it would make it much easier to Bricklink the Star Destroyer in Light Bluish Grey!

    @Kumpelkante, as others mentioned the Customer-Service is (usually) pretty awesome! BUT if there´s a problem like the one that you have here i would highly recommend to ask for the line manager/boss because usually the people on the phone are limited in how they can help! I´ve talked to customer service a couple of month ago about the wrong cape that the LOTR Elrond Polybag came with (it was a short one instead of a long one), the woman on the phone said they can´t do anything and that i shall contact Warner since Warner distributes the Polys via the Video-game, well i asked her kindly to talk to her Boss, the Boss called me back (he wasn´t available at the time i´ve called) and i told him what the problem is, he was totally unaware of the short capes and promised to find a solution (he even gave me his email adr. in case i´ve had any question) long story short, after a couple days he called me and said they have some long replacement capes they´re gonna send me! Conclusion, ask for the Manager/Boss!

    Or LEGO will simply move stacks of the set from Europe to the US, since over here it is waaaay to overpriced to become a success (50€)!

    Sure you can't blame someone for using the given Instructions and build/modify it a bit,but i'm a bit dissapointed that people on that Forum give him credits for "his MOC"! For me that's not the definition of a MOC(not his!),and even worse it got frontpaged on that Forum! I don't wanna sound like a hater but when i read over there that people say "sure he took some inspiration from other MOC's" i get really angry since he built something after a Instruction which is different to "take Inspirations"from somewhere!

    Somebody on www.imperiumdersteine.de (German Lego-SW Forum) build the Venator too and modified it a bit: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showthread.php?t=26718 To be honest, he posted that he referenced to "polo";"anio" and "thire5" but i feel like he never made it really clear that this is NOT his own MOC and he just modified a few bits from the Instructions he´s got from "polo"!

    The release date on s@h UK/Germany got pushed forward to the 18.of Dec. for the Arkham set!!!

    That´s exactly what i thought! At least they took care about it! BTW the TLG-rep was very kind, and he seemed really happy that i´ve told him about the "cape-concern" since he didn´t knew about it before! I would encourage everybody who´s got a Elrond figure to contact the customer-service and ask for this cape, in the end even if not perfect it looks way better than the short cape!

    To me it seems like this cape has this "special"shape because Elrond´s hair go over it! Maybe TLG thought that a shape like this fits better under the hair-mold?! At least it looks waaaay better than the stupid (hobbit) cape!

    I´ve called the German TLG Customer service and complained about the short capes, the Lady told me to contact Warner Bros., i told her it doesn´t make sense since WB didn´t produced those figures/capes so i told her i would like to talk to a higher ranked person, explained it to him to, he asked me for a a few day patience he would take care of the problem! So on monday he called me (i´ve left my phone no.) and told me that in the US TLG is already aware of this production-error and that they found a solution for the capes. And that´s how i´ve received my long cape! Check the Link i´ve posted, it is indeed a long Dk. Blue Cape!

    Ok, to me this "new" Hoth set (what´s exactly new? one figure? awesome) just proves that it´s time for Disney to bring on the new Trilogy ASAP! Really, TLG is running out of ideas heavily!

    Nice set! It has all the necessary minifigures in it! But somehow i feel this will look pretty lame without the Palace on top...
