    For all those complaining about the price, please take a minute to consider that it is at the same level as CaveGod's parts list, before instructions were even made. Think about how much time and labor went into: designing the set, troubleshooting the design, creating a parts list, and then building a 1500 page instruction manual. How much would YOU charge, assuming you even felt the desire to go through all that work AFTER you built your MOC? This is a very expensive build, primarily because of the number of pieces used. If you are prepared to spend $800+ on this (assuming you lack the spare parts), then $50 for all that effort should not be such a big deal. I guess I'm just surprised at the "everything-for-next-to-nothing" mentality.

    Hm... I'm not finding 76302 from line 269 in the XLSX file. The description is "Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 10L / 8.0cm". According to Bricklink, that should be part 75c10. Can you confirm this? Also, the 4424 vs 64951 bit needs to be clarified in the READ ME errata. There is no 64591 in LBG out there. So someone either needs to order 4424 in LBG and make a hole, or order 64951 and paint it. I'm assuming this is covered somewhere in the manual.

    With significant parts totals comes significant investment in both time and money. I don't see this being cheaper than Anio's Venator.

    That's the great thing about this place, there are other options available! Take a look at Dranac's build. It's smaller but still has some great detail. This Mortesv design is the top end of cost, detail, and size.

    It would be fantastic if you could maintain the scale the Kris is using in his MIDI builds. A collaboration across MOC builders utilizing the same manageable scale would be amazing for those of us with ideas of building fleets...

    I can see how that would be an issue for you, determining if keeping the true scale is more important than the visual balance. In the end, I think you made the right call to keep the MF correctly scaled as it is in the movie. :)

    What is the stud length of the MF on this build? As others have indicated, I've been waiting for your LDD file on the Mark I build you had before. But the Mark II you've just completed is just awe-inspiring. I hope you will take some measure of compensation for your effort, and for the effort of your instructions author. Because that might help inspire you to create another incredible MOC. I can't wait to get started building!

    Magnets don't break down over time. Rubber bands will always fall apart eventually. However, given the Unobtanium that is the lego magnet system, it seems the bionicle ball joint method is most likely the best candidate, assuming it is properly placed and sufficiently reinforced with more attachment points to carry the weight.

    This is great news! I'll start bricklinking as soon as the parts list comes out, then start the build when you finish the manual. Very exciting!

    Actually, the ISD is 1600m and the Venator is 1155m. So the ISD is 38.5% larger. Based on my calculations from my earlier post, the ISD would be right around 2 feet in length, or 60 cm. The ISD minifig set (I'm assuming you mean 75055) is 19", or 50cm, which is still significantly out of scale. I think Kris should have to design an ISD for this scale, since he invented it. :P

    It is rare for a builder to take the time to even bother putting instructions together in the first place. Usually you'll pay a lot more for some rendering files and a parts list. I suggest you pay the very small amount of money for the builder's instructions and see for yourself before you start complaining about the quality of the free images you've seen so far.
