Tanotrooper replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in General LEGO Discussion
yes! finally a way too aim the M1 garand and such... I use a similar piece to let my playmobil figs aim their handleless rifles. TT -
indeed, but could you explain to me what 6th graders and so are, since we dont have that kind of system over here... TT It would be great to have inspired someone to inspire more to join the community.

st. maarten? That isn't celebrated here (around Ghent) though... Nicolas was a knight, I only remember the story about his cape, and that he comes from Spain (supposed to be burried they somewhere too) and has the "zwarte pieten" with him as his helpers. (perhaps going back to the days of slavery 8-

Lego SORT OF shows false 7994 picture at Lego.com
Tanotrooper replied to RupeeClock's topic in LEGO Town
that is indeed false advertising... darthperson8, I love Patrick's sentence X-D Is mayonnaise an instrument? TT -
hehe, a toaster X-D some great work here, especially when he burns TT

the corpse snowed in is supposed to be from a Russian soldier, with his body rotting, and the arm eaten by a dog or (as happened a lot in the Kessel) eaten by humans... why would you be proud, SirNadroj? TT
-
During one of the many urban battles in Stalingrad, a Russian grenade flies through the air, and a German soldier is blown away, surving but with his legs ripped off from the blast... This might be a part of a series of vignettes showing a street battle scene... TT

a very friendly seller, but I noticed these things at some of the items: -dark grey military helmets are a bit see-through at the side -military helmets mostly dont come off easy of heads Still, I'm really looking forward to those Roman items *wub* TT

Ferrero rocher isnt exactly the cheapest chocolate :-P but the boxes are great. TT
-
Vader, the new torso has been mentioned before in this thread, and can be clearly seen on the motorcycle box. This one uses a tan uniform with black "y"-belt instead of the futuristic naboo pilot torso. TT

votes casted... Some great entries. The reversed haunted ship creeped me out (mentally)... Good luck everyone! TT -
hehe, thats my heavy german dialect X-D I mean "a bit" :-P How do you find the look of the last soldier overall, not seeing the fusilier? How does he look? TT
-
ein bitte jah :-P the winter wehrmacht and the fusilier are about the same height without hats (although fusilier is the tallest) But the normal wehrmacht officer needs improvement. These are usually 1 plate longer at the legs, but can also be heightened more by neckwear/headwear. The hospital torso is because I couldnt find a clear white torso X-D Thanks for the comments TT

update in my own creation departement any none pirate figs will be displayed there. TT

These are some of my MOCs with brickbuilt legs: -french fusilier napoleonic wars and wehrmacht officer (he needs more work): me newest, WWII german wehrmacht eastern front soldier (winter gear): for side to side pic check: brickshelf TT

My entry: "the horrors of the new world" the conquistadores didnt know what they would find in the New world... After finding the ruins of an ancient civilisation, they heard something in the jungle... 4+ pirate: hello there little fellow *sweet* conquistador: aaaaahhh! Its more about the idea here than the MOC :p TT

stikfas look better. But he looks great also. TT
-
Here we are (sorry about lightning, its raining...) TT
-
sure, i'll try to take them this afternoon. TT

well, the wehrmacht height is the basis height. The fusilier looks taller because: -neck bracket -epaulettes -white strings push up the epaulettes a bit -backpack the basic idea is that each plate cobsist of a part of the legs, so they represent the legs best: -part of shirt sticking out/top of pants -thighs -right above knees -right below knees -lower leg -feet the fusilier's boots are over his knees because they look better that way (only a plate difference BTW) this makes about a plate difference :-D , and the shako also larges the minfig ;-) TT

I have in no way copied moko's technique, I'm not a thief. The idea of using the tooth/ear pieces as shoes isnt only moko's, but also many others'. Choose your words wisely >:-( thanks for all the comments. It's a habit seeing the minifig shorter, but if you're used to it, its nice. I suggest you build something likewise, so you can judge the thing in real life ;) The perfect shoe piece with would a short point, and a round base... But you have to work with what you get... TT

Hey all, my design of making legs, but with as much detail as possible. TT
-
but this is also a very fragile technique, in wich the levers dont need much to crack or deform. TT
