  2. I usually buy it, sometimes at LUG weekend my dad "buys" me some... how to explain your still playing with lego: I'm in a club with adults and together we make giant lego maquettes. X-O wow TT
  3. How to make a Russian PPSh: 1) take a batman tommy gun 2) take a brown minifig hand. Put it on a paintbrush handle or something else thats about as thick as the side of the gun and keep it like that for about 30 minutes. 3)put the hand on the side of the gun and put a left or right brown arm on it (depending on wich way the person is shooting) there you go! TT
  4. here are pics of how you can attach the shield: wrap the rubber band (2*2) twice around the hand and 2-3 times behind it my cat allows has to help me with pics X-D TT
  5. new figs :D from WWI: der Rote Baron (red baron or Manfred von Richthofen in pilot and normal wear): a german Sturmtruppe (stormtrooper) (notice the use of different dk grays to resemble the leather armour) from WWII: an English officer and a Russian winter gear soldier TT
  6. excellent representation *wub* haha the cabbage man X-D TT

  8. Romans and greeks would be great... or an Ancient theme... I'd like to see some more early-mid middle age knights TT
  9. this is how the prototype hovito was made: -avatar Sokka legs (red brown legs with blue printing) -standard red brown torso, arms and hands -red brown head with standard smiley -black hair (female) long -black spear Looks like a great set! I hope to get that torso of Belloq in bulk... Can I have a close look on that one? Thanks TT
  10. Hey all, some minifigs I made: WWII german tank crew, WWII german soldier from wehrmacht with machinegun belt, late Roman soldier (5th century AD). TT
  11. I used a metal button as a shield. A rubber band (official of course :-P) holds it in place. The symbol of Flanders, the lion is on the button. TT
  12. hmm... these will have heavy competition against playmobil's specials... I hope more themes will get involved in these Impulse sets *sweet* TT
  13. I CROWN THE INDIANA JONES LINE THE BEST LEGO LINE EVER MADE! *wub* *sweet* X-D :-) :'-) :-D I absolutely *wub* these sets... A nice way to get the "hitler" face in the race set. Nazi army buidling on X-D TT
  14. I have this trident from a disney surprise egg and it fats nicely in a minifg hand... and it's glow in the dark :D a thing I suggest is a lightsaber blade or parasol stand with a three fingered lever on it... TT
  15. I noticed some of my 1*2 jumper plates in bley have already started cracking on the sides... Also, flesh heads like the standard smiley and the batman head fit very loose on most torsos. Some minifig arms have mold marks on the backside and those newer bricks feel more... I don't know elastic, instead of the hard ABS I'm used to... Lets hope these problems get solved... TT
  16. spongebob: IT'S PINK, IT'S FILTY AND IT'S HAIRY! Sandy: So is Patrick's bellybutton... Great episode *wub* woohoo 200th post *sweet* TT

  23. I'll be making modular WWI trench MOCs later on, when I have ordered some minifig parts in bulk. some questions: -To make a Pickelhaube, does anyone have ideas? I tried experimenting with the tropical hat and a 1*1 cone... -Any idea how to make the french Adrian helmet? It looks a bit like a fire helmet... BTW, thats a very nice mark tank. I think I've seen a moc of a russian armoured WWI car also on brickshelf... TT
