  1. now I might to begin to buy alot of stormies with those improved helmets *wub* Love the shadowtrooper, and those rebel fleshie heads are very useful for WWII figs, etc. The helmet is interesting... have to have one in my hands to see its complete uses... TT
  2. gotta love the imperial haircode X-D that piece confuses me. I used the idea of that piece before, but I don't see any resemblance to the vader helmet... I'm gonna buy the faces of Juno and "the apprentice" (doesnt that remind you of that hilarious show on mtv) in bulk, love the general angry look of the apprentice... I'm confused... is it vader against his apprentice? *wacko* At last the black kepi is back :-) TT
  3. nazis+communists=WWII fun :-P Might be interesting to see if there will be a red star printed on their caps and so... TT
  4. haha bonaparte you're a crazy guy ;-) chloor en bleekwater? :-P Someone at BeLUG got results of dewhitening by using oxy-vanish (you know the pink box with the annoying coin commercials etc.) and laying it in there for 6 weeks I thought... This seems to be working better, but it's more dangerous... TT
  5. does anyone know if the nazis are in the fourth movie since there seem to be dark gray minifigs in there... I like what I'm seeing! X-D TT
  6. ah, new fleshies to add to my collection >:-) TT
  7. sadly the german torso isnt in this years bulk order... But I will get plenty of sun hats and dark tan bodies! And of course tan caps to replace the motorbike helmet. The german torso is only a eagle away from being a WWI DAK soldat. I crown the german soldier from the truck chase set the best lego minifig ever made. TT
  8. -light flesh coloured parts (1*1 plate etc.) -1*1 plate that looks like a chain end -parts to make t-shirts and shorts, skirts, etc. -a golden knight helmet TT
  9. yes, go bley notzis! Those would be really great in some sets of the 3rd movie... TT
  10. this line is getting flehies heaven! 3 fleshies in a 10$ set? hasnt happened before X-D the marion face is very useful considering avatar minifigs... hmm... have to see a smile version first though. TT
  11. sign me up for 100 nazi minifigs... at least. Great set, might buy 3 or so, but buy the nazi minifigs of bricklink. TT
  12. >:-) mwuahahahaha! (evil laugh) >:-) look at the soldiers torso... Its possible that its flesh flesh :-P under the uniform TT
  13. lets all send a mail in 2008 to lego to produce a dark bley/light bley german torso (the same but in that colour...) Is that flesh or a shirt the soldier is wearung under the uniform? TT
  14. wow! lego made the effort to depict the y-belt and the mp40 pouches! Great job lego *wub* Sr. henry sr looks great, his helmet will be very useful and so will his cheap dark tan body (WWI mocs) I'll atleast buy 3 or so of this set :'-) TT
  15. its my cats paw :-D finally got around taking the pics, the pieces used are: -small rubber tire -black rubber string -black plate 1*1 -black plate modified 1*1 with vertical grip -green plate 1*1 -2* white minifig hands step 1: take the minifig step 2: put the 1*1 modified plate on its/her head step 3: wrap the rubber band twice around the head, and place it under the modified plate. This will serve as hair and to hold the white balls. step 4: click the black 1*1 plate with the stud facing the floor into the modified plate's fingers. It should be at an angle pointing upwards. step 5: put a green 1*1 plate on the modified plate (can be yellow for fire outfit). step 6: push the tire on the 1*1 plate in the back. It should slide in and make a perfect fit. step 7: pull a bit on the rubber string on each side and put the minifig hands in. There you go! You now have a "blind bandit" TT PS: in a week or so I'll order 3 avatar sets, and then I can make more minifigs :D
  16. I remember well... I had been to disneyland paris a few months before, and fell in love with star wars. (age 6/7) I went to the toy shop around Easter to choose something to buy and then I saw it... Star Wars sets! I looked at the landspeeder box for 2 minutes long and looked around for other sets and there it was: halleluja! I saw the *vader* minifig... and wanted it right away! I got it that Easter. Having only seen episode V, I didnt know what the tie advanced was, but by simply switching the wings position, you could make a simple Tie fighter, and removing the main plate, you had a tie interceptor! Very great comic too! A few months later, my friend got a lego set, claiming he had a *vader* minifig also! I checked, and he had the smallest episode I set. I checked the folder with the set, seeing all new star wars things from a movie I didnt even know that existed yet... Not long after I purchased the same set... TT
  17. a plastic is formed out of milk and vinegar? interesting... TT
  18. Hey all, I love the avatar animated series, and since book 3 started unexpected here in Belgium, I decided to make some minifigs, and I'll import the two sets later on. (why arent they avaible in Europe :-( ) first up Toph, the blind bandit, a blind girl who happens to be perhaps the most powerful earthbender of them all :-P I'm thinking of using the katara face with the blue eyes... I have spend all day long to figure out the hair... I think this is good but might improve it later... normal clothes http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Tanotroo.../toph/toph3.jpg attacked by my cat: book 3 outfit (wip): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Tanotroo...h/tophfire1.jpg gallery when public: gallery lastly (for now) Suki, the leader of the female warriors of Kyoshi island, armed with a katana and ... forgot the name of it 8-| anyway: if you dont know the characters, a quick check on wikipedia gives a brief info and pic. TT ps sorry for the large pics, some faults in there
  19. Kessel is the german word for (in dutch: ketel of kachel) a place where you used to put coals etc in to warm up the house... Because they were trapped, they used that word... My grandmother was forced to eat patatoe skins in the war :-X TT
  20. Thanks. Indeed... BTW, the lantern can light up! (it's a 1*1 cone pieces glow in the dark) :-P TT
  21. well, I wanted to use the brickbuilt leg minifig into a vig, and with Stalingrad fresh in my mind I made this... TT
  22. worse, it was seen as normal food later on in the Kessel, and sold and served to prisoners and normal soldiers :-X TT I suggest you watch the series "stalingrad" (I think its from the BBC, with 3 episodes of 50 minutes), wich tells everything about the war in the Kessel...
  23. how about going blackadder style with cannons *sweet* then it is settled. Duel at dawn. TT I voted for Cap'n
  24. Nice roger young. Loved SST (the movie), I suppose your SSTs are based on the book instead of the movie (otherwise they would be grey right?) Nice scenes. I'd love to see some bugs :-D TT
