4x Series 4 minifigures. They turned out to be the scientist, figure skater, werewolf and sailor. I'm happy with them all, except the scientist. I thought he was the artist, and I already have a scientist.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
Gregorovich replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks Cobra for that. I think that someone said that it was completely random where the figs were, though. My Argos has series 4 again. I got the ice skater, werewolf, sailor and the artist. However, when I got home, the artist turned out to be a scientist, which I already have . I'll put him up for trade, because I know some people want more than one. -
Thanks for this wonderful review, -R8-! This look ike an amazing set, it has so many great parts and features. The polar bear is a fantastic piece, and I like the walls on the command centre. There's a lot of realistic things in this set, like the x-ray and the weather room. I'd never actually heard of this set before now, so thanks a lot for showing it to me. Thanks again for the top-notch review!

D2C Contest: The Cairo Bazaar
Gregorovich replied to Athos's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great work, Athos! This is a really great entry. It's full of fantastic details, but not so many that it would never become a set. If this were released, and if it wasn't insanely expensive, I'd definetely get this! Well done, and good luck! -
Thanks for posting that image, SilentMode! Your photos are much clearer than mine, so I'm sure whoever's interested in the cards will be happier that you photographed them instead of me .

REVIEW: 4746 Mobile Command Center
Gregorovich replied to -R8-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the excellent review, -R8-! This set looks like a lot of fun, with so many play features. I think that how the trans red pieces can scan things is very cool, and I wish they still had those today instead of the more boring play features. The set has some very nice parts and figures as well. Thanks again for this great review! -
Sorry, but the pictures I've taken are quite small. I don't have a proper camera, so my photos are quite small and poor quality. I don't have any larger images, and if I made them bigger they'd probably just get really pixelated. Sorry again for the poor photos.

For the pen/pencil, those are quite good substitutes, but I'd like a mold that is actually designed to be a pen/pencil. I've got that tile (1x1 flat tile with blue book and stars printed on it), and I don't really like it because it's nothing like a book. What I meant was a mould similar to the existing book piece that opens and closes, but just smaller. I feel the existing one is too large, and it's difficult to make a minifigure hold it. For the small flame, I mean a very small flame. One that could look like a candle's flame. That's quite a clever idea for the golf club, I'd never thought of that. Thanks for sharing it. As for the ice cream, I'd never seen that mould before. Thanks for showing me that.

But series 4 doesn't have that hair in dark orange . Anyway, I voted for Masked Builder because Flare hasn't done anything yet.

I was keeping them sealed so that I could trade them for actual LEGO, but if you want I'll post pictures of them later today. Thanks. I agree, I really like this little set. It's a nice little parts pack.

I'd like to see... -pen or pencil minifigure accessories -1L and 2L bars -plates with studs on the top and bottom -new, smaller book pieces -dress slopes the same height as minifigure legs -small flames -more fabric skirts -golf club minifigure accessory -ice cream cone minifigure accessory

Thanks for the review! This set is pretty good, but it's far too expensive. The bell and the wheel are great. The minifigs are also very well designed, Hadras in particular. I'm happy to see the bottle and a fish in this set, but why are they there? Is someone living in the tower ? Anyway, thanks again for the review.

I never actually realised she has no powers. I'm guessing she has fire though, because her spinner has flames on it. Thanks for this rather funny comment, though.

I know that this isn't a very big or interesting set, but seeing as this is my first review I decided to do something small and simple. The photos are pretty poor, but hopefully you can still see the things in them clearly enough. Set Number: 2172 Set Name: Nya Pieces: 12 Minifigures: 1 Price: UK £7.49, US $9.99 Year of Release: 2011 Box I've already binned the packaging, so here's he official image. I think it's a nice and eye-catching design. All the contents of the box. 1 bag of parts (I've sorted them out), 1 information leaflet, 5 cards and 1 spinner. Parts There's quite a nice selection of parts. The pearl gold blades are made of a softer plastic, and are exclusive to this set. The more interesting parts are used for the weapons. There's two golden daggers and a brown staff. It also comes with a few bricks. The red tile and one of the 2x1 bricks make a stand for the cards. I'm not sure what the other parts are for, but I'm sure they'll come in handy. Minifigures Seeing as it's such a small set, it comes with just one minifig. It's a very nice minifigure, though. She has only appeared in one other set (Garmadon's Dark Fortress). I really like her sceptical facial expression, and her outfit is nice, too. She even comes with a dual-sided head. This one has a veil, which will be good for Arabian Dancers and ancient Asian princesses. Spinner The main part of the set (but not the thing I'm interested in). I'd post a video demonstrating it, but I don't know how to make it spin . Add-on's The cards are something that some people are interested in collecting, but I don't really care for them. I've kept them in their sealed plastic bag so that I can trade them. There is 5 cards, and the Nya character card is shown here. There's also a leaflet with information on how to play the Spinnitzu game, and some pictures of the figure. Ratings Build - 1/10. There wasn't really any build. Parts - 8/10. For a set this small, there's a lot of great parts. The female minifig parts, the golden blades and the black lightsabre hilts are all fantastic. However, I'd have liked it if the bricks were in rarer colours than red and black. Minifigures - 9/10. I love the minifigure a lot. Her hair, face and torso are all great. I took 1 Mark off though, because I want Oriental styled clothing in a colour other than red. Playability - 7/10. Although I myself don't know how to work the spinners, I'm guessing that they are quite fun. Some sort of actual build would make it a lot more fun, though. Overall - 3/5. It's a great set for it's size, target audience and price, but it's not exactly for AFOL's. I got it mainly for the great figure and parts. I hope that you found this review useful, and that I did everything right. Thanks for viewing!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Gregorovich replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
IMO, this is my least favourite. My favourite things are hairpieces, and this series only has 4. One of them has already appeared in the same colour and one has printing which makes it far less useful for MOC's. So there's basically only 2 hairpieces in this series. There are however plenty of other great new pieces, but there's not as many that interest me as there was in the other series. -
I saw that they have one of these in the Star Wars, Action Themes and Collectible Minifigures, so I thought we might as well have one here. Single pane funnies are kind of just what the name is. A single photo with a funny caption. I'll start us off with (a not very good) one - "Indy, I told you not to sit in the back seat!" Hopefully yours will all be much funnier with better photos. I look forward to them!
-
Great MOC, Etzel! The smooth, rounded edges are very good, and the deck is very nice too. I love how clean it all is. Well done, and thanks for sharing! I look forward to the next one!
-
I got the Nya spinner today. The figure's lovely, and the weapons are great, but I still don't know how to use the spinner!
-
Thanks for the review, JammieDodger! This set has some great parts and play features, but I think I'll pass on it.
-
Don't know if anyone's seen this yet, but in this image there is what appears to be the finished box art for the 2011 sets. They're very small, but you can still kind of make out what they are.

D2C Contest: Rise of the Dread Colossus
Gregorovich replied to Aanchir's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Excellent entry, Aanchir! I love the sub. It's got a great design and plenty of play features; I'm sure it would fit well into any official Atlantis set. The Leviathan/Collossus is also very well designed. I think that a small rock formation, a Greek column or something along those lines would add to this set, though. Well done, and good luck in the contest! -
Thank you! That chick is excellent, well done! I hope you have a great Easter too.

Thanks for the image, SpiderSpaceman! The dragon looks quite good, but it's very similar to the Fire and Ice dragons. I'm interested in seeing more of the skeleton copter. Thanks again for the images, although it's a rather odd place for TLG to put the first official image of a new set...
