Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List
Gregorovich replied to Siegfried's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
+1 to SilentMode. Very easy to work with, always polite, and kept making great offers. Thanks again! -
Another great MOC, Etzel! I don't think it's as good as some of the others you've made, but it's still brilliant nonetheless. I love the water, the sea weed and all the rubbish. I can't wait for the next one. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the great review, Brickster! This is a great little parts pack, I may just get it. The globe is an excellent piece, and so are those bottles. I just wish that this set came with a non printed bottle. Thanks again for the review!

Over on Brickset it says that some UK Toys"R"Us have the PotC sets available. -
Great modular, Vincent Kessels! The outside is very nice, with plenty of architectural details. The interior is fantastic. It's a little cramped, but it still looks wonderful with so many great features. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Good job, Ezechielle! The buildings are excellent, and the scaffolding idea was brilliant. I also like how you changed the minifigs, as though some time had passed. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the excellent review! The set is okay. It's got some good parts and some play features, but it's nothing too special. I think that the tavern's design is pretty average, with the roof being uneven and the fact that there's no floor. The Gibbs figure is spot on, IMO. Does he have a reversible face? Thanks again for the review!

Happy birthday, Cutlass Iz. I hope you have an enjoyable day, and that you get something nice(LEGO, presumably )!

Those are looking really good! I especially like the pizza shop mod. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

This is fantastic, Corioso! I really like all the action in this, and the buildings are excellent. I like how all the minifigures' faces are appropriate to their situation. There's nothing I don't like about his scene. Well done, and thanks for sharing this with us!

There's not much in it, but the flames are fantastic! Are they glued together? I've never read the comic myself, so thanks for explaining what it's about. Well done!
-
Great job, Etzel! The tree is fantastic, and I love the rocks. It was a pretty good a idea, and you did a great job of it. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Nice vignette, Alopex! I like the lamppost and the neon signs/flags. The building is nice, and the pleasurebot is a good idea. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

I'm definetely not a fan of those! They look terrible enough, not being chromed, but it's even more horrible that they've got those big holes in the back. I don't know why they went to the trouble of making a new mould when they don't even look as good as the old one. We unfortunately don't have them in the UK yet. I don't understand why the US usually get sets before everyone else. -
Thanks for the excellent review, Brickster! There's some great parts and figures, but it's really expensive, and I'm not really too interested in it. The cabin is very small and bare, and it's odd that there's only 3 cannons. I probably won't get it. Thanks again for the review!

DO NOT TRADE WITH REJECTED SHRIMP!
Gregorovich replied to prozac's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well, I've already made a successful trade with him. I received his items over a month after he received mine, and I'm in the same country as him. Hopefully your scenario is just the same as mine, and you'll get it later on. -
D2C Contest: Attack of the dojo
Gregorovich replied to lego-maniac's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That's a brilliant MOC, lego-maniac! When it's fully together, it looks so magnificent and realistic. I'm not sure though if it's too good to be a set, though. The modular feature is really great, but as the others have said, it's not in the spirit of D2C sets. Anyway, amazing entry. Well done, and good luck! -
Thanks for the great review, Whitefang! The overall design of the set is not very good, but the minifigures and the new parts are fantastic. I especially like Elizabeth Swann; her new hairpiece, face print and outfit are all lovely. The gold bars are a great new mould, but I too was disappointed that they were pearl gold. I found it quite funny how you said "fake gold" for the pearl gold - I completely agree, they look like a cheap fake gold compared to the chrome gold on the box art. I don't know how much you payed for the set, but the USA price on toysrus.com is $19.99, which I think is quite fair. I'm hoping that the UK price is less than that or around the same. If it's a decent price, I'll definetely pick this one up. Thanks again for the excellent review!

I set it to 500 bricks per page, so that all the pieces were on a single page. I looked through all the categories with "Figure" or "Minifigure" in the name, and what I said earlier is what I found. Perhaps I'm just not looking well enough. EDIT: Yes, I've found them now. For some reason if you set it as 20 or more bricks per page, it doesn't show all the bricks.

I'm guessing that's just in the US, but at least it means we could get some reviews.

D2C Contest: Leviathan Dragon Fish
Gregorovich replied to ---Vertea---'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I love the fish, it looks very creepy. It's very good, but it's not so overly-detailed that it couldn't be a set. It also has a great little vehicle, and some figures. It's definetely something that could be made into a set! As Oky Wan Kenobi said though, a cave or treasure would really add to this already great entry. Well done, and good luck! -
Thanks for the first part of the review. I'm really disappointed that the window is a sticker , I was really hoping it was printed. I look forward to the rest of the review!

This is really good, Walt! I love all the details. You've used some very clever techniques to build things, for example, the drawers. I especially love the skylight, the half-finished sculpture and the hat stand. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

That's absolutely stunning, andybear@hk! There's so many wonderful details, and it's so realistic. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Ah, I see the bottle now! I really hope this polybag is available in the UK; it'd be brilliant if it came free with the newspaper!
