  1. "The Duantless is the power in these waters true enough, But no one can match the Interceptor for speed. I've heard of one, supposed to be very fast, nigh uncatchable: The Black Pearl." Very VERY good job! It still amazes me at how much detail you can fit on one ship like that. I dunno how you do it! I wouldn't know where to begin!
  2. That's pretty interesting considering that LEGO was conceived based on ANOTHER TOY. So what did LEGO do?
  3. Don't let any one discourage you. Remember this isn't about appeasing the masses of people on a forum. Its about what makes you happy and what you like doing. if you like it hey its what you like and that's all that matters. I'm not a big Minifig Modifier, I have had plenty of ideas for some though but see your always going to be a step ahead of me, because you ACTUALLY did it!
  4. your review was great! I just don't like this shuttle as much as the ones in the early 90's the early 90s model even though didn't do as much stuff as this one or have near the amount of nice parts it seamed more real to me which is a huge plus. the red I find a little off setting and the ENORMOUS gap between the back flaps and the wing I find a VERY off setting. these are the main things that keep me from purchasing this set. I still build my old 90's models. I even had the launch tower which was and probably still my favorite set of Space sets. But again great review you did an excellent job on this.
  5. I hope someone at LEGO is looking at this building because not only is it a GREAT modular building it also fits SOOOO WELL with the other Modular Building. I would buy this with out hesitation hands down! great GREAT job!!!
  6. I think your headed in the right direction. What did you used to paint this with? or was it paint? nail polish? marker? next time for like the Sniper, take a piece of masking tape and put it where you don't want the paint, then paint and then after its dry peal the tape up. You will get cleaner lines and it wont look like Pie face lol. A for your design and B for implementation. I think your sniper gun is ingenious though! so very complex and star wars like. Very very nice! again I think your in the right direction. a little fine tuning and your there! Good job and don't stop bricking!
  7. So its like Power Rangers back when it was good aka in my childhood? LOVE IT. building something out of 5 or 6 of something else was ALWAYS super cool to me and this is no exception! great job!
  8. I think in may it should be done since they have been working on it a while and they are to be moving it as well as making a 3000 Sq/ft play area.

hey I like the use of alternating colors! do you have anymore pictures? interior?
  10. hey that looks really nice! I've never really liked Persian architecture but this is really great! gave me a few ideas right off the bat! does it have an interior? anymore pictures?
  11. that's awesome! I love red under the cop to simulate him being shot! this is a great little vig!
  12. Really and truly, I would love to just see more City stuff, besides the same ole same ole. Grocery Stores, Department Stores, Eateries BESIDES Pizza, Lodging would be a nice thing to see. Holiday Inns? Marriot? ext. What I want to see more than all is more Modular buildings with as much diversity as other. I honestly believe these sets would be good enough for their OWN subtheme all to there lonesome.
  13. TACO TRUCK! that reminds me of the Taco Truck I used to get tacos from, Taco Loco!
  14. I like it. the only thing that bugs me has to be the Kilt though, it looks good, but it looks very papery? I'm not sure how I feel or what can be done about that I've never really done any Minifig modding so I might be complaining about something that can't be fixed. but I think it looks good and a very good representation of your reference pictures.
  15. http://www.leespring.com/browse_catalog.asp?springType=C I love the interwebs.
  16. I just received the Log Cabin #5766. I'm about to build it!
  17. I think its pretty good considering that I make mainly Modular Buildings. but thanks for the input
  18. wow! I've never been big on boats, and harbors and what not because I can't control water or make it deep, but this is REALLY nice!!
  19. this depends largely one what I'm doing lol. I'll go from listening to Scottish Bagpipe music to Slipknot and Lamb of God back to Amy MacDonald. Right now, I'm not listening to anything, in a minute, the Background music of Final Fantasy Tactics.
  20. I have never seen the Hangover but that was HILARIOUS! now I want to see it!
  21. Well I actually have Photoshop CS5 because I need a good image creator since I make iPhone games and trying to delve into the world of Console/PC games (pc being Personal Computer not windows, although if I did make a game I can code it into windows as well as mac) I was more or less seeing if there was a Mac Alt for other mac users. I'm always fiddling with new programs lord knows I don't like spending that much on CS4-CS5. I'm going to look at GIMP because it looks like it has quite a few features and I like the way the interface looks. Anyways, again I think your tutorial was great and I hope that EVERYONE see's this and uses it to there utmost advantage!
  22. The Captain has been spending a lot of time in the cargo hold lately, I wonder what hes not telling us? After seeing the Rum Room MOC this morning this is all I could think of and had to build and share it. I don't think the Captain wants anyone else to know about his enormous Rum barrel, but hes spending way to much time down in the Cargo hold for anyone not to notice. I know its cheesy, but I like it and thought it was amusing! I know its not to great detail or size and grandeur that goes along with most of the MOCs in the pirate realm but I wanted to share it, I hope you all enjoy it. Syn
  23. This is a great tutorial. A+! I only have one concern, this is basically a Windows Only Tutorial, I'm a Mac. and I'm sure I'm not the only one here that is. Are there any alternatives to paint.net that are free and have around the same functionality so our mac users can get the most out of this tutorial as well?
  24. When every flat level surface of your home is covered in either bricks or assembled sets.....
  25. wow that's great! awesome job!
