  1. Great review Civilian impulses are nice to get This one would work perfect with the new airport, but not stand alone. The farmer one will be much more popular because it has a pig
  2. Great review! The box art is great as usual and the pilot yelling "Hey" is funny and pointless Oh is that a baseplate I see?? Ever rare nowadays. The plane is very nice, it has a great interior. And all those large prefabricated parts, partly necessary but maybe not. Airplanes are very slick and aerodynamic in real life and would seem hard to replicate in Lego without being blocky, however the Jet you reviewed early is mostly brickbuilt showing that it is possible. Oh and the one time you want a stickered part they give you a printed one However it would be easy to add the additional engines, but yes they should have put 2 on each side. The minifigs are very nice here, such as the pilot, stewardess and passengers. Little baggage car is cute but I don't really like it The airport itself is ok, better than the previous one but not amazing. Interior is pretty good but the problem is that airports are huge, so a much larger set with 3 terminals would have captured the feel. I will have to pass on this set with all the other great ones coming out
  3. Thanks Copmike! This is really very interesting. I am sad that chrome black or green didn't make it
  4. Well I was almost fooled for a minute there You have done a great MOC here Hopefully they will actually make more Indy sets soon

Nice Haul! Just finished reading and commenting on your review of 3181 And looking forward to your reviews of the Airport and the Helicopter ahhh if only I would find some new sets in advance
  6. Great review! The 2010 City Reviews continue with this one I always thought that these large planes were odd, however I quite like this one as planes in real life are huge. The best part has to be the construction is mostly brickbuilt and the only single mold is the nose. Compared to the other planes which use a lot of prefabricated parts. The little towing car is very nice. The things that are lacking here are the interior, not in seating because there are plenty of seats for once But in detail, the Plane in the 2010 Airport has a very nice interior. Oh well. Also the minifigures are not amazing, not one new one. Thanks!
  7. What are you trying to say? , this is completely different, I would like to see those phones do Morse code (Bonus App, Moto Torch )
  8. Thanks for those pics! So it is out already? Where can I find it ?? Looking very nice
  9. Droid? What is that? Get yourself a : Nexus One The droid is really cool. Some great TV promos for it! Since they are both android phones, similar except for phone style and hardware Did you get any cool apps? I recommenced these - Google Skymap - Steamy Window - Android Lightsaber (for SW nerds like you ) - Shop Savvy (really useful for LEGO ) - Bubble - Shazam - Batterylife - Compass - Weather Bug There is more but you will have to find those yourself I only wish they had more apps like the Apple Store (100,000 compared to Androids 10,000)
  10. Cheese tile for me too Endless potential, featured in almost every set nowadays
  11. Those links don't work

Thanks Brickstorm and welcome to EB! You have brought a good welcoming gift Yea, I wasn't expecting a grand interior on either the Helicopter or the Limo. Like you said probably just chairs and a table. The limo didn't seem to have much room, but the TV is a nice touch.
  13. Thanks for the new pics These are all really very cool!! So they will come in random packs? I hate that! I hope I don't get alot of the ones I don't like/need However I also like surprises with LEGO so if I get the good ones then it is ok.

Thanks for that new pic of the Heli and Limo!! $50 is a good reasonable price that I had suspected. It comes with the stewardess featured in the airport, but now I don't need the airport just for her, I can get this set. Ohh special edition, I first thought oh no not another dumb TRU exclusive, but this one is different. The TRU ones would say "Limited edition" or something along those lines. I do hope it is a Walmart exclusive.
  15. Thanks for this great review! This is yet another great addition to the Farm subtheme. However we have seen alot of tractors but this one is fairly nice. Yes the female minifigure and her blue overall torso is new The new pigs however are the real special part about this set However you can get a pig much cheaper in the Farmer Impulse. This set though, is still worth it , as the pig pen is very nice and you get carrots.
  16. This is a cool first topic and post WhiteFang But that was some time ago. How did I miss this? The Ninja theme featuring Samurai was awesome! My favorite one is the green one. Then white and followed by black. Bring Back Ninjas!

I think we discussed this recently in the 2010 Trains topic But yes the similarities are very obvious.
  18. Well for me, the color yellow is the universal color for all minifigs skin. It is very classic and fits in great with LEGO's own themes like City, and the other ones they make that I don't follow Flesh I didn't like at first when they started changing the SW from yellow to flesh. I sort of wish it had stayed yellow. I am ok now with flesh minifigs for licenses like Indiana Jones. Flesh smileys anyone?
  19. I love these revised topics that I never got to comment on in. This wind turbine set is incredible! Would go perfect with a modular buildings city as its huge! Makes the Wind Turbine Transport one, look like the one you would put in your backyard I like the little house underneath it But at $500 I can live with out it.
  20. I read the review a second time and the new replies. And have arrived at the conclusion that I am starting to like the car Yes its growing on me, haven't purchased it yet but when I do, I will have to make a bunch in different colors.
  21. Part of what makes a set special is parts that are only featured in that set. To replace it with another part that is cheaper is economical but is well complete blasphemy For example, Armor Shop 6041 is made up of mostly common elements and basic figures. However it contains a highly desired part. A BLACK Short sword The only set to feature it. You could easily replace it with a grey one. But its not the same. I don't own that set, but I bought the black sword, because it was just cool
  22. Well thats cool I wonder what new attractions they will have? Each park has attractions or rides that are exclusive to it. I've been to the one in CA but that was a long time ago
  23. I faced this same decision. Back when there was just news/rumors of new Train sets. Then the pictures came out and I was glad I decided to wait. Still waiting for them to be released but it will be well worth it, they are amazing! I speak about the Cargo Train here, Pros: Track, good mix of flexi and regular PF Included! Huge bonus! The engine is really nice Good selection of train cars to pull The crane Red Truck Cons Battery issues maybe suspected? And price perhaps
  24. I really enjoyed reading your post Jamie Berard, well all of them, behind the scenes with LEGO is awesome The idea book would be cool but as mentioned that would need a tremendous amount of work to accomplish. I wonder if there will be LEGO set boxes in the store like the ones in the LEGO Truck
  25. That is very cool, thanks for sharing! However all the Modular buildings together IMO would be much nicer than just multiple of one.
