Hello everyone I bought a lot of LEGO and today when it came it smelled of smoke Does anyone have any methods for cleaning and removing smell of smoke from LEGO? Thanks

Thanks for the pics and for good eyes it is missing a terrace though? Solar panels? Hybrid Cars? Wind Turbines? TLG is sure doing a good job of incorporating "green" and renewable technology into sets I am fan of this

Excellent Review Svelte My personal favorite set of this theme. You showed why very well. Excellent, Excellent Parts Playset is nice and visually appealing. Plus it comes with a camel and the dagger, thus eliminating my need for the largest set

Great Review Ricecracker! This is my 2nd favorite set from this theme of which I do not like Main buying reasons for me would be the ostriches, and I didn't know ostriches lived in the middle east There TLG goes again, (Polar bears in Antarctica ) Also some great parts included.

Great review Have not commented on anything POP related to this day I am not a fan of the theme but these sets have some good parts. Really like the Middle East layouts too, needs some palm trees to be complete however Fortunately the 2 smaller sets have the ostrich and camel and those are what interest me most

I would say all the Modulars and some Star Wars, esp the 10th anniversary sets and sets that include figs only made-in that set. MM too I picked those because of the high part to low price ration and irresistible attraction

Or hung up in display in regular stores like creator ones? The helmet on the fig is quite nice, that polished black look, is stunning He has a dragon print on his torso, who is that certain member who loves dragons? Interesting set but mt favorite is still the court jester one

Yes, during the winter season occasionally, didn't see any in the past year but in 2008 I did get 10176 for $30 I wasn't fond of the set but for $30, great Castle parts pack

Yes that is a MOC, the real giveaway is the track. I was talking to someone, who spoke to a LEGO rep while back (At a Toyfair event or something along those lines) , and they asked about the possibility of a Monorail and the reply was that if a new Monorail was to be released it would not be compatible with the old ones. Meaning it would be a completely new track type. They didn't say if they were making a Monorail, just if they ever did it would be new. Also they destroyed the Molds for the old track if I recall.

Are you hating on the Monorail? Oh never mind I see you quickly add that you support it Thank you Lightning Tiger for additional confirmation that it will be the City Transport The thing that comes up in my mind when you say "City Transport" it the all ready heavily mentioned Monorail idea. Because you already have Trains coming out, we got a bus and those are the other 2 forms of public transport. Logically one could conclude that it will indeed be a Monorail right? :wub: I really like your speculations KD, I hope they are indeed true

Thank you Klaus Dieter! That is totally awesome news! But I don't get it, I thought the Truck stop was already confirmed? Also if it was the Public Transport center I would not be surprised as that one would have seemed to have been the most popular. I hope it is indeed a remake of Airport shuttle and is a new Monorail system, with station and snack bar in all its glory :wub:

Great classic review Rufus Photography is excellent, some of the best I have ever seen. I like how you still have the orginal box, and that is wasn't eaten away by mold or disintegrated from age Ahh I love how it had the bricks in the plastic tray and not in individual baggies like today. On the instructions as you pointed out, they call for placing the astronauts in the vehicles before they are even built LEGO still did dumb things in instructions back then too The set has 4 vehicles and they are all quite cute. The minifigs are great, we get naked spacemen for the first time. Never stuck because we don't see all yellow figs today My favorite is still the Black ones. This base however is a step down from Beta 1 Command Base however However it still is quite nice and I love the crater base plates, very spacey Keep em coming! Classic Space Forever!
