  1. Good thing that will never happen as TLG only uses the "flesh" color on figs for licensed themes.
  2. There was last year one point on the shelves at a LEGO Store where you could see and buy these trains: Maersk Emerald Night Red Cargo Train Yellow Cargo Train Passenger Train Train Station Level Crossing Plus track etc Definitely a great selection in a very long time. But we need more rolling stock, buildings, accompany sets, separate engines to be considered a golden age IMO. Although that lineup was pretty strong.
  3. All the entries are great. I voted for Kyphur.
  4. Suffering from the Maersk Blues: I told you it was madness! I need more Maersk Blue.
  5. So it doesn't look like we will be getting a new or continuation of any space theme in 2012. But maybe we will have a new one in 2013, TLG is certainly getting better in set designs and concepts as of recent years. My first idea is sort of a modern take on Classic Space, the same design for the Series 1 Astronaut I think is perfect for the minifigs. Different color suits maybe could be done again or something different. I would like this theme to get back to the exploration of space with a conflict but not like in recent years there will be no aliens. There can be space astronauts who have zip guns and are like the security team and space marauders (new helmet design) and space civilians. Also robots play a nice role in the sets as helpers. I would like to see a modern day take on the Galaxy Explorer as well as a new space monorail set, moon bases and all sorts of smaller sets like space mechs and smaller civilian type ships. Here is my set wave breakdown: Space Moon Base Alpha Monorail: $150 1000+ pieces The D2C set of the first wave and TLG exclusive. A new redesigned monorail system is long over due and can be implemented in City too. A simple loop with raising up and down and a nicely designed moon base and transport area. Maybe a small ship and a mech to explore the planet. Includes 3 Space Astronauts, 2 Space Marauders and Space Civilians and robot. Galaxy Explorer 2.0: $75-$100 750+ pieces The largest consumer store set of the wave the flagship set that is not the D2C. Basic concept and maybe a similar color scheme to original, I would like to see some originality here and a nicely built ship. Includes 3-4 minifigs such as the pilot, astronaut and civilian and various cargo and a small planet rover vehicle. Outer Moon Base Outpost: $40-50 400+ pieces A moon base outpost where studies are being conducted. Includes a new crater baseplate with a small base, space rover and some mineral bricks the ore part in chrome green or chrome blue or standard colors. Lets call it unabatanium (spelling?) Minifigs include a Scientist, Astronaut, robot and Engineer type fig. Exploration Mech: $20-30 200+ pieces This will be a nice mech type set where the astronaut or scientist can explore a planet and do certain things like take samples or drill or battle etc. There can also be another one for the space marauders with a different color scheme. Includes astronaut and robot and ore parts. Planet Rover: $10 50+ pieces A small rover that can be drive around and has shocks etc and also has a cargo to carry around. Includes astronaut or space civilian. Now for your ideas.
  6. Yeah I was wondering about that, when other sites online would get the Joust.
  7. Yes but this is more of the robber bandit type.
  8. Aw man I wish I had gotten the Maersk Train already, this is such a fun contest.
  9. yeah I agree with these points, I don't like the sets much I just am happy about new parts I can use in my regular castle project.
  10. I used to think that too but then I saw the Falcon Knight in the Joust, sure that doesn't mean they will make a whole new faction from that but it shows that the Falcons are still on TLG and the set designers minds.
  11. oh maybe he will chime in sometime soon which would be nice.
  12. Hmmm, smallest part either a coin or a minifig hand or maybe a plume; the original feather one? Largest I would guess would be some raised baseplate but the T-rex from the new Dino theme is giving it a run for its money, it has some pretty dense plastic there.
  13. Me too.

  15. yeah I am not labeling this theme done just yet.
  16. Forgot a Western theme would be nice to see too again.
  17. hmmm the car and caravan.
  18. where is the picture of Boba with leg printing? That would be nice as would arm printing and a green cape. That would for sure make him different from the Slave 1 version.
  19. Hey that counts as posing , at least it is better than a static pose of a charging horse.
  20. yeah that was what I was trying to say, sorry for all the bad jokes lately
  21. Yes please, that would be nice, I searched but can't find the image mentioned.
  22. well I sent a message asking exactly what they meant.
  23. If they bring back Kingdoms they can do two new factions; Falcon Knights and Forestmen I think are the best choices and some accompany sets for the original 2 waves. But while LOTR is running I hope for a different historical theme such as an ancient theme involving Greek or China or Japan etc.
  24. well the way it is typed it sounds like: comma separating the two statements
