true but they are close to final, an example is the SW prelims from the summer for the January Wave they were all close to final except figs.
-
there is no indication or proof yet of even more than 2 waves.

um nope ninjago vs pirates would be heavily fantasy based like it is already.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
Piranha replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
that sounds great, I hope for more after though, never ending -
First welcome to Eurobricks I also thought of the bear like Zeya (Polar bear had just a moveable head like the horse does now) while the Grizzly you can move the legs. I would say that is a partial indication because they have done it with other large animal type molds. I don't spot many new bricks either and as we know each license theme gets quite a few new parts, POTC brought over 10 I think besides the figs themselves. So that is another good indication. Finally TLG has never done this before if it is just simply a CGI manipulated image, that would be unfair to portray a horse charging only to get a standard horse in the set, something I think they wouldn't dare to do. But at least one thing is certain a new color being tan for a horse

What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here

new one Occupation: Forestman Robber Bandit Gender: Male Print on torso: buckle and a money bag Type of headgear: Hood in regular GREEN Type of facial expression: Frown Color on torso/legs: printed legs green/brown Accessory: Regular GREEN Cape, sword/bow -
Really? now that has caught my attention although one would question the feasibility of a horse always in the charging position, making another one necessary for non action and such. Although a posable one would solve that problem I just am wondering how TLG would execute it. However that said, I would draw the example of the Indiana Jones Bull Whip. Yes, originally we got a coiled up version. However later on we got the "action" version as it would look like being utilized. So the possibility of a permanently posed horse is likely as well. But I look forward to seeing what it is. By the way was this discussed in the other topic? If yes could you provide the post number? I would like to take a look but don't want to read almost 100 pages Me too, POTC provided a brilliant range of new parts. Rum bottles, buckets and more. I can only hope we get loads new pieces here too. But color is pretty subjective as to preference.

poly bags are great and we can never have enough of them. I have the Target Practice one but no others currently unopened. HTF you know.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

on that subject have we got confirmation there will be a series 9 on? I remember back at series 5 we heard confirmation of 6,7 and 8 were finished but I was wondering about afterward. Back on S7 the fig I want most is little red riding hood, and that is just because the hood is a new color in red I love collecting odd new color parts. -
I have to agree you did a brilliant job on the conversion Excellent work! Everything looks great and your mods improved the design and functionally at the same time.

Ideas for New Action Themes
Piranha replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
oh here are some: - Caveman Theme a humorous take for sure, caves and trees and dinosaurs and maybe even Mammoth and Saver Tooth Cat. - Underwater Theme less fantasy and more treasure exploration type like Divers. - Jungle type theme Hasn't been done since JT and would be amazing. - African Savannah type theme poachers against game rangers, imagine all the different animals like maybe the elephant again, zebra, lion etc. environment scenes like a watering hole and some neat land rover and jeep vehicles also a game reserve lodge as the flagship with holding pens well built and kinda like a resort but African styled. - Outback type theme done before very briefly but could use expansion maybe same premises as African theme. - New Classic Space type theme Figs like the CM S1 astronaut as well as several colors of suits and scientists and all sorts of cool ships and bases and different planets and space stations. -
well I decided to take an unbiased look at the LOTR prelims for the first time and I my first impression was wow those are terrible , they look so uninspired and boring, I instantly thought of the similarity of the style of building to KK2 with sort of a HP mix. Also reminiscent of POTC just weak sets it looks like IMHO. No details or nothing also I don't approve of the animated horse on the box art standing, the horse is not posable and should not be portrayed that way. Sure they are prelims but prelims as we know are pretty much close to final. I did spot one thing I liked and that was the tan horse.

I think there was an indication in the post of a final wave of POTC and the Dutchman is the last set and is the D2C. -

not to discredit you or your source but I don't believe it. Not confirmed or denied until an announcement from TLG themselves. #1 the OP quote I gave is a LEGO employee who has access to the catalog and knew of LOTR when everyone didn't believe it. Everything else he provided us has proven to be true #2 Derfdel also knows or has seen the catalog for 2012 POTC. It is being kept tight until the toy fairs. pacaking color doesn't matter but news of series 8 does -
thank you for the review, the set details are very impressive. I am happy the Carriage can fit (minus the flag ) . Will be a good fit with MMV and I am pleased with the figs.
-
calm down now, responding with blackish of castle fans by calling them "fanboys" is not the way to go and will definitely incite others. Please don't try and force LOTR on everyone. Thank you
