  1. Well I took advantage of the sale going on at TRU and picked up Gali, Lewa, Umarak the Destroyer and a second Skull Warrior. I wanted to find a quake beast, but could not find it. Anyway I really like these figures. Umarak's neck doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I just really like Umarak, he's big, bulky and just a fun figure to look at. Gali however, I hate her legs. They seem to long and the armor coverage on the thighs bothers me, there's to much gap. Lewa's arms are too short. When they are in an action pose I don't mind them too much, but when they are on his sides, they look to short. So finally I finished my collection of 2016 toa and overall I really like them. Together they look really nice with all the translucent colors but they each have something awkward in them. I hope that in 2017 they knock some of those awkward things and make really solid figures. Now it's time for me to hunt down the rest of the creatures and the beasts.
  2. Well I watched the next trailer for Journey to One and the stakes really are raising. I'm really excited to see where the show goes, and possibly how it will tie into next year. "End game" is a pretty generic term , for the last arc of a show, but I really hope that we get a glimpse/tease for next year.
  3. I personally wouldn't mind if the sets looks like the two color schemes are colliding. Almost like if his protector self is trying to fight back the Mask of Ultimate power, although I would not mind if we got a version of Makuta similar to what we saw in the newest trailer.
  4. Well I just watched the new Ekimu trailer and wow! Makuta in the flashback looked pretty cool and I can't wait to see how he will look like now. The mask of ultimate power looks really nice. I feel indifferent about how Ekimu looks though. It seems to bright although I understand what they were going for. I seriously can't wait for the rest of Journey to One to come out.
  5. Man these upcoming episodes really seem to be raising the stakes. Seems like the beasts will be a real annoyance to the toa.
  6. In some shots I just don't like how Umarak looks here. Just looks to messy with all the crystal's coming out of him. Although there are hints in there that probably play into the story. Overall though I feel "meh" towards this.
  7. Also went on to toysrus.com to find that there is currently like a deal thing of where if you spend $40 or more on LEGO you can get a free Bionicle set ($14.99 value). So if you're still missing some sets you could jump on to that deal.
  8. Eh, plenty of people like different things. Some LEGO fans don't like Bionicle and I'm fine with that. It's like how in Drum and Bugle Corps how there are people who don't like modern DCI shows, and prefer the old days of G Bugles instead of B flat Trumpets. Or how people in tokusatsu don't like some of its series. Just a thing people in every fandom have to deal with.
  9. EDIT: Found the image I was talking about.
  10. No I mean that on another web site I saw a panel where Makuta himself was holding the mold of the mask then set it down again. It was in the forge.
  11. The mold of the Mask Of Ultimate Power was seen in the second graphic novel right? I was browsing another website and came across a post that showed it. The mask seemed to look incredibly similar to the mask of light.
  12. I will admit that this poster does have a larger feel to it than the first one did. The thing I like most though is that Umarak's horn's are actually gold all the way.
  13. Well earlier today I purchased Ekimu 2016 and Onua 2016. Funny story with Ekimu, my local TRU had Ekimu marked for $20 dollars, thankfully I made the lady know that that was not the actual price and she put it to retail for me. I have to say that Ekimu 2016 is so beautiful. All the translucent blue on him combined with light makes him look so beautiful. Sure the build was pretty simple (his torso build reminded me of Kinna from 2009) but it works for him. I really can't get over how nice he looks, especially next to his protector form and some of the other toa. Makes me wish that Makuta next year has some translucent red on him. Maybe not as much as this Ekimu, but enough that the same "ghost" or "godly" appearance comes from him. Onua is alright. I don't like him as much as I thought I would but he's still a pretty good set. I feel that his right arm should also have a ball jointed elbow. His master model to me felt more complete, and solid. This one feels a bit more loose, and open. Overall though he is a pretty good addition to my toa team. Now I've still got to complete my 2016 collection and then I'll have all of G2.
  14. It's actually pretty cool that someone is actually making those figures into LEGO. It'd be nice if LEGO could release them someday, also nice job on creating these.
  15. So anyone else here on Eurobricks watch tokusatsu? Well if there are what tokusatsu shows/movies have you seen?
  16. I've always wanted to see Dragon Ball Z related sets. I know the chances of it are pretty low, and the sets would be overpriced like most of system, but I would still love to see it.
  17. Well considering that on the U.S. shop at home web site the winter 2016 sets are literally on sale and have a retiring soon thing on them. The sets are all cool and for the most part I like what's been offered from the line thus far, but sometimes it is good to see how things are going now, and to predict for the future. You can't expect a happy go lucky atmosphere all the time. Really the state of the line is confusing. On one there are multiple reports of stores not selling the theme, selling it in limited stock, or just not at all. Even mentioned earlier the sets are being put on sale and have a retiring soon tag on them on U.S. Lego Shop at home. Yet at the same time Europe is getting magazines and Russia got two exclusive polybags. All things considered my expectations are pretty low for 2017.
  18. Okay thanks guys. I was just wondering if when the theme came back if it was just an actual reboot or a continuation.
  19. Alright so I remember the original Ninjago when it first aired in 2011 with the skeletons. I remember loving the theme, but had never gotten many of the sets. I remember the snakes and then the stone army. I remember the rumors and debates on Chima replacing Ninjago. But most importantly I remember the original show. I enjoyed the show and watched the whole thing. So my question is what exactly is the new Ninjago. Is it a reboot of the theme, or a continuation. I haven't really payed attention to the new line so I'd appreciate if some people could explain it to me.
  20. Well considering that the U.S. Lego Shop website has the winter 2016 sets already on clearance might point to Bionicle being more of an exclusive thing. It's funny really how it went from being one of the more popular lines, to having its sets retire after six months on the shelves. I haven't even completed my 2016 sets yet. Might need to get hunting.
  21. If anyone care the winter Bionicle wave is on sale at legoshop.com. The sets also say that they are retiring soon. Not even one year and they are already being marked down. It really makes me wonder what we are going to be getting next year.
  22. Bionicle G2 was always going to at least end in 2017. I don't see what is so bad about that. I'm enjoying the sets as they come out and when it ends I'll be pretty happy I got to see at least one generation of Bionicle from beginning to end. As cool as that would be for it to continue for another couple of years I'd rather see it go with a good three years then to try and milk the line. http://www.toyassoci...1e#.V2xXnFeMC9Y Also according to that page, action figures as well as brick building toys have rose over the past few years. Granted not at the same rate, but still growing. (At least in the U.S.)
  23. So the third and fourth episode are called season two? So I guess all those people worried if Journey To One would get more than one season don't have to be worried anymore. It is strange they call it season two though considering that it'll be two episodes.
  24. Well considering that the magazine's have little polybag like sets included with them I don't see how they are a way of showing that Bionicle is doing terrible. In fact I would assume that it'd be doing great in Germany. Russia also got two exclusive polybags probably because its probably very popular there. I'm just failing to see how releasing those magazines means the graphic novel's sold badly. I mean this magazine is released in Germany right? Did Germany even get the graphic novels?
  25. The Star Wars star destroyer released a few years ago. The ship is very iconic in Star Wars and the model is the largest and nicest LEGO model that I own.
