Hello! A great review showing a great set! This is among my most favourite Harry Potter sets. As most sets of the series, it features many useful pieces for other building projects. As you have nicels worked out, it has many printed pieces which I prefer over the new approach with the stickers. The hinge bricks remind me of the old castles able to fold open. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! A pretty nice speeder bike. However, I am not so fond of the clip/clip-connections you used by cklicking a clip plate into a clip tile. I would have used the relatively new 1x2 plate with handle. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! That's a great piece of architecture! I am mostly impressed by the clever idea to create 3-stud-wide columns. They're looking great and the ornamentation all around the building are fantastic. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! It's fabulous! I can imagine the effort and also the time you must have spent to complete this perfect scene. But I guess the result was worth it! Even the smallest features are build with great detail and contribute to this brilliant layout. A pleasure to look at! ~ Christopher

Hello! Finally a functionally used roof! The only thing I am missing there now are some sunshades. I guess it gets quite hot there when the sun is shining. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! The large glass facade of the shop and garage is very good looking. The functionalities inside the shop have a high level of playability making it a great city set. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! A great looking truck! Of course the rounded shape of the tank is nice, but my favourite detail are the steps to the top of the tank by using tiles with handle. Excellent use of parts. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! Building equipment and utensils for larger figures is not easy but you did a nice job with the revolver! The wheel for the bullets is cleverly included. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! Sticking that panel into the lever base is a quite unconventional connection but certainly a very interesting technique! I'll try to remember that. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! I pretty much like the tail constructions with the flex tubes and wheels. It's a great improvement over the technique used for the Bongo Sub. Cheers, ~ Christopher

[MOC] Snow plow
Legostein replied to Fistach's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello! It's huge, detailed, and fully functional. I wish I had one here for all the snow we have here this winter! Cheers, ~ Christopher -
Hello! That's a very original use of two cloth truck covers! I also like that you used all three available shades of green for the ground. Cheers, ~ Christopher
-
Hello! I guess that was the easy part, as this is one big piece. However, that's exactly what I like too! Alternate uses for big pieces always gain my attention. The roll cage is also in excellent use here. Cheers, ~ Christopher
-
Hello! I like the use of the large windscreen piece you used here. It's not a typical pice for a mecha, but it looks simply great here. The pose in the second is incredible! And also the image with the lightsabre is a funny touch. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! Yes, you're right with the comparison with the older hardsuit. The new one is better armored and armed. However my favourite detail is the randomized trash scene which the pilot is walking over. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! These are great additions to the expanding steampunk universe. I like the bigger flying machine very much for it's well designed little cabin with the old-style arched window. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello again! Thank you very much! I'll try to keep it clean and organized in the future too. Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. Sound like fun. It's all for the community, so go ahead. If you need part lists and such things, don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! He's one of my favourite SW characters as well. And he appears regularly in the EU novels as well until his unfortunate death. But we will always remember these words: "We have stolen a small Imperial shuttle. Disguised as a cargo ship, and using a secret Imperial code, a strike team will land on the moon and deactivate the shield generator." I was pretty amused when I first saw General Madine due to his rather funny hairstlye. You got a very good match for that. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! That's a fantastic design! Not only the colours are chose well, but also the use of pieces is great. The way you combined the two sets of three hinge wedge plates is remarkable. Excellent spacecraft! Cheers, Christopher

Hello. Well, I think it's not mainly due to your creations that you don't get only few replies. It could be more a matter of behaviour I guess. Let me explain a little more in detail what I mean. We're a great community here. We look at other peoples creations and if we like them we may take the time and post a comment. This way, the forum stays alive. We're having discussions together. Have you taken the time to look at other peoples creations, and did you take the effort telling them what you like or dislike? These are the main elements of a community. Of course no one can force somebody to post comments. But feedback usually is appreciated. In the same way that we can't force you to comment on other threads, you can't force us to do so. Calls for feedback like this... ... usually don't have the desired effect. Neither does "bumping"... It could lead to the impression that you only cared for your own stuff and wanted in on top of the forum list. If people like something, they will comment definitely. When I remember correctly, you presented a pretty good capital-scaled cruiser to us, and we did not hesitate to comment. Personally, when I don't like something I simply don't comment, unless I have a suggeston for improvement to contribute. Not liking refers on both, the creation itself and the way it is presented. And let me assure you, we are not in any secret groups. And let me repeat, in a community we all should have fun together. Begging for feedback is not neccessary. I hope to have helped you with these words which I hopefully have carefully chosen. All the best, ~ Christopher

what is the best PM set?
Legostein replied to lookscivoker's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hello, that is a little less information, as already mentioned. Can we maybe encourage you to write a proper review? These are very popular on Eurobricks and also have a listing of Pro & Contra as well as a rating at the end. Here is a good example review of a Power Miner set: REVIEW: 8958 Granite Grinder If you want to find out what a proper review should look like, this topic will be very useful: The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy All the best, ~ Christopher -
How much do you want an official Lego moonbase module?
Legostein replied to smegged's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hello. Well, I have a different opinion on that. Moonbase is one of the most popular and successful fan creations which is still going on and expanding. I would not like TLC to "invade" this fan-made project. It's from us as fans for ourselves and for all fans. Look at all the great modules and dioramas out there. We can build everything we like ourseleves. Every module is unique and thus more exclusive than any official module could be. Cheers, ~ Christopher -
Hello! A really impressive layout which makes joy to look at. The mix of classic space and neo-classic-space works out nicley here. And I especially like the cruiser with the curved train tracks as wings which is a very original use of parts. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! The alien looks really great like directly from the screen. Using the black skeleton figure with a brick-built head works just perfectly! Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello and good morning! I will continue with the next round of congratulations now. All the best wishes to your birthday, Ras! Enjoy the cake, presents and party! Cheers, ~ Christopher
