  1. Bad news first, the very cool looking bank robbery isn't available in stores until April, plus it's an exclusive and it's $90! Atlantis temple available Feb ($120). Series 3 figs have been listed as January and series 4 for April. The rest of the police sets available January some time, prices are all on shop at home now, and about what you'd expect based on previous prices.
  2. I saw several Grand Emporia at David Jones Adelaide today, get them while you can at the 25% off price.
  3. Thanks for the info. I would have had a look out of curiosity if I had one near me. In Lego news I saw plenty of Imperial Flagships in stock at Myer (Adelaide) today, not sure of price though.

That reminded me of one of mine that loves to sleep in a box of unboxed lego sets I have in a cupboard. He seems to enjoy the hard plastic pointiness of the experience for some odd reason.
  5. First product about $13 shipping, every one after that, $5 each. Just play with checkout feature to know for sure. But that's what I've been charged every time. It's a great deal on bigger sets. even the advent calendar on its own with no discounts works out cheaper than Target here.

    Seatron?

These are official Lego prototypes that were published in Brickmaster magazine I believe. This included some old space prototypes and Space Police 3 prototypes as well.
  7. Peter's right, this is what they did at Myer earlier in the year. Just go back and ask for one, or otherwise you can probably use the normal application form and post in with receipt. Only one of my cats so far loves the Lego Club, although one of my other ones is a big fan of the Barnes and Noble kids club that gives one 30% off voucher which it looks like from today can be used on almost all lego, making some spectacular savings because their shipping for Lego is great.

Gorgeous! I have three and they all love lego, they love pawing at piles of it while I build. One steals it and they all love batting helmets around my tiled floors (I actually buy cheap standard helmets for them).
  9. Thanks for that legoSS, and welcome to Eurobricks. This all potentially points to a December 1 release with the website officially launched first of Novemeber and talk of the last sunset of the month being when sets will be available (or maybe it will just be pre-order). I think this theme is proving to be the most exciting non-licensed theme for Lego fans in years.
  10. Get in early at toys r us, the separatist shuttle is scanning at $32.49 in Adelaide store at least. Also the big Space police ship from last year is now down to about $95 if you missed out on the myriad other sales discounting it.
  11. Startin tomorrow, Toys R Us have 8036 star wars Separatists Shuttle for $32.50! Plus if you spend more than $40 on Lego you get lego Club membership and a free toy story jeep set (not the one with 4 minifigs but one with one fig and a smaller jeep). Also Big W now have Harry Potter at pretty good prices as well as Fire sets discounted.
  12. Anyway, back to more topical sales news, this week k-mart has the Hogwart's castle for $129 if you haven't picked it up with one of the numerous sales and deals around already. They also have the old police command truck for $47 (same for Fire helicopter) and also a couple smaller sets discounted, starting Thursday.
  13. Check out their prices first before making a statement like this, and then compare to amazon (factoring in shipping) and you'll find that bookdepository.co.uk is way cheaper than amazon. I'll assume the shouting "NO" was just a caps lock slip.
  14. I have seen the atlantis one in Myer (as well as castle and pirates a couple months ago), but your best bet might be at the book depository, great prices and free shipping, and they have a pretty good reputation, I've just ordered a couple non-Lego books from them. Book depository
  15. Don't worry, before too long, your number will be a shop at home exclusive set, so a great chance of being something brilliant.
  16. It' would be great if this came as a comic to go with one of the sets. I love the back story.
  17. It's not an odd question, but no-one here knows yet. If there are, they won't be out until the second half of the year so it's too far away to have much reliable information.
  18. Terrible news. We can just be grateful to him for his massive contribution to our worldwide community in his all too short life. There is a memorial page on bricklink here.
  19. A great combination of building and photography skills. You certainly captured the atmosphere and look of the movie, well done!
  20. Thanks for that! I'd say it is most likely this is the alternate design lego were promising people.
  21. The selected sets are the slave 1 as mentioned, plus the following all at RRP, Endor ($199), Wampa ($80), General Grievous ($95), so it doesn't look like that good a deal unless you want a slave 1.
  22. Two days only at Myer (for Myer One members I assume). Get $25 off toys for every $75 you spend in one transaction. That's a nice saving on the Hogwarts Castle or any other $150 plus set.
  23. For those in Adelaide, Toys R Us at Tea Tree Plus had a heap of the exclusive AT-ATs but they're up very high so unless you're 6 foot 6 or are prepared to do some climbing they'll be hard to reach, but with 20% off with voucher this weekend it would be worth it (note, this store has no vouchers outside shop so you'll have to print off). Also on the upper shelf was a couple Indiana Jones Venice canal chase sets, and on the clearance table was the big power miners set featured in the Clutch powers movie (set 8709) for just $80 although the box has a little damage (no obvious signs of tampering though). Oh, collectible figs are almost impossible to search through, basically you need to queue to buy something and go through them as your items are being scanned) Toy Corner across the road are continuing their 15% off sale but seeing anything that isn't currently available everywhere tends to be marked up a fair bit, there aren't a lot of bargains, although they had two kingdoms advent calendars and they do have a bunch of older impulse sets at $5.99 before discount. Hopefully this helps someone get something they've been having trouble finding.
  24. Adelaide toys r us has a couple half emptied boxes of collectible figs by the counter for $3 before discount. They also have a heap of the 20% off vouchers sitting with the catalogues at the entrance if you're not on their mailing list.
  25. For anyone in Adelaide that wants a $30 Kingdoms advent calendar, head down to ImagineIf Newton, they have 25% off all stock today and two of the calendars in stock. They also have some of the smaller lego games.
