  1. We don't know. It's said to be a clone, and it's said to be not plainly white. We don't know if it's Phase I or Phase II, and we don't know if it is a "named clone" or a regular trooper. But due to the member "hoth rebel", it is most likely not Commander Cody.
  2. Ryloth: Waxer, Boil, Numa, J-1 semi-autonomous proton cannon.
  3. Yes, the times were only catalogs and no internet existed are over :) Right now, we don't even know if the summer wave will feature phase 1 or phase 2 clones or both :/ And without further leaks, that won't change until...well...June or July.
  4. Those who are affected, namely the MOCers themselves, have the primary responsibility to act in their own interest and on their own behalf. I got that. I can only speak from my personal experience. Until today, I sued private persons or corporations for four times. In all cases, money was an issue. but more importantly, it was about respect and not being played with. All four cases didn't go to trial because we reached a settlement or because the other party gave in to my demands before the trial started. So, if I were a MOCer and if I were emotionally affected by others exploiting what I perceive as my intellectual property, I would not care a single bit whether or not my actions may catch Disney's attention.
  5. Do we know that? I don't remember anyone having explicitly said: "I know the minifigures included, and I can tell you for sure that Cody is not among them."
  6. For such questions, it's easiest to check out https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki If you compare the episodes the AT-RT appeared in with the episodes the BARC speeder appeared in, you'll find that both vehicles appeared in the episode "The Hidden Enemy" as well :) Both vehicles appeared in "Battlefront II" and in "Revenge of the Sith", of course. As it was already pointed out, it may be misguiding to think of sets as being based on certain scenes.
  7. He does not only sell instructions, but also models built from these instructions, e. g. four Star Destroyers for 2.185,20 Euro each have been sold. In my understanding, he interferes with Lego's Star Wars License. Thus, in my understanding, Lego could do something.
  8. He has an eBay account, too. Maybe it's an option contact eBay on grounds of the "VeRi program".
  9. I'd find it odd if Lego officially excluded the possibility of such a battle pack. Anyway, single 501st troopers (TCW style) were released in two sets in 2013. edit: That's the only official statement I found. Here, the possibility of a 501st BP is not excluded.
  10. Beautiful! Great build, great color scheme!
  11. That's not even the worst case scenario: It could come with a jedi and one clone, namely the Kashyyk Clone Trooper from 75234 (AT-AP) and 75261 (Clone Scout Walker). In this case, it would come with zero new clones. Given that the RRP of 75261 was $29,99 and that it contained 3 minifigs + 1 droid, I find it highly unlikely that 75280 will feature four clones and two droids. edit: I would like a 501st battle pack, be it a "huge" one as rumored or a regular one. But, to be honest, no decent source of Phase II clones was released since 2013, so I'd be fine with other Phase II clones as well (I'm not a fan of the 332nd, though). I suppose that 75035 (Utapau BP) and 75036 (Kashyyk BP) sold very poorly, so Lego decided not to make further Phase II clone battle packs.
  12. Personally, I'd wait for new sets and an increase in supply.
  13. Any ideas when or at what occasion we might see official pictures of the summer sets?
  14. But...that is pretty bad. The sets from the prequel era are pretty much the only thing I'm interested in :( Life ain't fair!
  15. I expected episodes 5-8 to be the "Utapau" arc that's already known from the unfinished story reels. I'm glad to see those are actually new episodes :)
  16. It's not even a given that it's a remake of a TCW set, and that it will contain Captain Rex. As jdubbs pointed out, Lego hasn't yet remade many sets from TCW series (Anakin's Starfighter), and in the case you are right, this wave would contain two remakes. 75182 is effectively a remake of 7679, but it's based on a game and includes a phase II gunner that was neither seen in TCW nor in the movies, so Lego might have gotten their inspiration from other sources than TCW series and EP 3 as well.
  17. The supply of AT-ST Raiders is pretty good in Germany :) I thought a major point for Lego is to pre-sell as many sets as possible before the set is copied and sold for a cheaper price. To achieve that goal, offering any incentive seems to be smarter than to assume that people will preorder because they are feared not to get it at all. Of course, I may be wrong about lego's motive.
  18. I wouldn't bet on it. Good point!
  19. The set Looks pretty well, and so does The Child
  20. Yes, that's the point. The RRP of 10195 was $249.99, but the piececount was comparatively low, 1,758. So I wonder if it's realistic to expect a set with ~1,700 pieces at this price.
  21. I have a more general question related to 75275, which is rumored to be a UCS set at 199,99$: Is a Turbo Tank/Dropship + AT-OT something that can be expected at this price, or rather not?
  22. I disagree. Considering the discounts, prices have remained relatively constant in the past 7~8 years (that may vary in different regions of the world, though). Plus, the set quality, especially the printing of the minifigures, has increased.
  23. One short question: What blue would better fit to 501st Lego trooper, blue or dark blue?
  24. I think that it's highly unlikely that Lego will create a set that is clearly recognizable representing a scene from "The Battle of Ryloth". Thus, I do not believe that 75280 will be based on TCW Season 1, which, I think, is the answer to your question. However, content of sets may be based on different sources. The current Droid Gunship and AT-AP, for example, are based on EP 3, namely the battle of Kashyyk. So are the main characters, Tarful and Gree. The printing of the battle droids, however, is from TCW series. So it's not entirely correct to say that both sets are based on the EP 3, they are based on EP 3 and TCW series. As for 75206, the recent "Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack", it's unclear if it's based on EP 2 or TCW series. It fits pretty well into both backgrounds. So I think that Lego will continue to integrate material from TCW series into sets of the PT if it increases the perceived value of the set and thus increases the expected sales. I think that's why we find e.g. Quinlan Vos in an EP 3 set, though he didn't appear in EP 3. My point is that since quite some time, no clear destinction between "TCW sets" and "Prequel sets" can be made. That's why I hope that in time, main characters from TCW series will find their ways into sets based on verhicles or buildings from the PT.
