  1. Thank you! The "bricks" gives an interesting texture. I've used it before, like here in dark orange: [MOC] Defunct Hardware Shop by Nybohov Creation Ltd., on Flickr
  2. Thanks! I built the bricks (a 1 x 2 plate on top of a 1 x 2 jumper plate) some week before I started the actual building.

  4. Thank you! I'm glad you like it. The sign took quite a few rounds to get right.
  5. I really like that the tiles on the square are a bit uneven. It looks a lot more realistic that way.
  6. Thank you for the kind words!
  7. The upper floor is probably the simplest and least ornate I have made. The corner and the sign are the most important elements. 8. It is possible to build the windows in a more straight forward manner, but I do not like that the studs are so clearly visible through the transparent pieces, so I tested another solution: [MOC] Scoops gelato parlour by Nybohov Creation Ltd., on Flickr [MOC] Scoops gelato parlour by Nybohov Creation Ltd., on Flickr

  12. Well, you need a half plate off set in two directions on every other row. I've used 26604 in some places, and together with one plate on each side on some.
  13. Thank you! Thanks! Snotting doors can be quite fun. Thanks for the kind words! This is the first time I use medium lavender, but probably not the last time. I often choose a contrasting colour for the sides, as the won't be visible when putting the buildings next to each other. In this case, I happened to get hold of some dark green 1 x 12. MOC: Bank

Well done! I really like this style of building.
  15. Now it's done:
  16. New building in Medium Lavendel. (Medium lavendel was difficult to photograph in the evening light on the balcony.) 17. Thanks! Yes, it turned out fine combining bright light yellow, LBG and white. Thank you! I rellay like to try different designs for the roof. Where's quite a few examples on my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/130550182@N05/albums I've already started! Medium lavender is a challenge, but not that a strange colour on a building really. Thanks!
  18. Thanks! I'm glad I found Maxim Baybakovs technique. The roof is a bit trick, as there is a half plate off set in depth for each row. I made a draft quite some time ago with different colors. It was only when 47457, 36841 and 36840 were available in the same color, LBG, that it was possible to build monochrome. I have been forced to build illegally, see attached photo. When 73825 comes in LBG it can be built legally. After the fourth line, I chose to make a jump one stud up and add 11477, otherwise it would have looked worse. On the back, it was not possible to get a half plate off set in all places, so there are some gaps that will let the rain in. Thanks! It's the first time I use Bright Light Yellow, but not the last. Next building will probably be dominated by Medium Lavender!
  19. Bright Light Yellow has emerged as a new favorite among house colours, especially together with white. It looks so yummy together that I get hungry for a vanilla-filled cream bun! For once, I have done interiors, at least on the ground floor, where the chic clothing store Style is located. A few more pictures on Flickr. 20. Wow! Really vibrant colours.
  21. Thanks! Well, they're just about to get rid of the reel to reel as it seems imposible to fix it one more time. No, no inside.

  23. Thanks! I like SNOT. (Well, not THAT type of snot,)
  24. Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
