And then a big alien base like in Falling Skies. Well, maybe not that big... (And they got mechs in this series too. :) )

I agree with the roof looking like plates and a few tiles. See how thin it is at the front, that can't be slope bricks. Well, the toy shop has a robot... or at least that's what I'd call that thing with arms, a green light and an antenna. :) So, together with the vintage truck now, I'd rather place them around 1950-60. Or in the present in a rather remote area. Now I'm wondering where I could place this year's winter village set, seeing that the shelf I had put the last two during winter (before I disassembled them to use the bricks otherwise) is now occupied by Queen Anne's Revenge...

Really great! All those nice details... Even the arches above the windows look better than I'd have expected with all those gaps.

Looking at the box photo that was posted here, it shows that the box's main body is indeed completely red without using stickers.

You know what? I bought nothing today, I just went into a toy shop to get the new printed catalog. No money spent. But it was hard...

Alright, let's speculate. It's been a while since the last construction sets, so there gotta be a new series of that. And given how fast Police and Fire are updated, I wouldn't be too surprised to see a new incarnation of firefighters in H2 already. Hospital and ambulance? Maybe as part of the girls theme (if that's gonna be reality role-play based); add a helicopter and you got a little crossover to "typical boys interests"... Alien Conquest could get a second wave with stationary/ground-based alien sets - making themselves a home after they conquered Earth in the first phase, if you will. Pharao's Quest? Maybe continue with the same characters in other areas, such as the already mentioned India, or Jungle, or something like that (hoping that TLG won't jump on that idiotic 2012/Maya bandwagon, fitting though the year may seem). Some more Kingdoms might be nice, a new faction maybe, though I can't imagine a dragon added to this rather realistic theme. Harry Potter? Well, after the movies, there are DVDs to be purchased, so that's a reason to continue this theme.

Great building especially with this rounded corner, and a nicely styled interior too. And of course I like the tram, too, having built a similarly shaped one myself. Though I didn't make an overhead wire; you found a nice solution for that, though it's maybe a bit short.

Interesting question, thanks for asking. As far as I can tell, object selection usually isn't undoable elsewhere either, so I didn't really miss it nor would I expect it. :) It might be a little confusing at first, but of course it may come in handy as you described. Typically the best idea is to make it optional, so everyone can set it the way they like; otherwise there's always someone who will complain, as every software developer's experience tells... And maybe do NOT add a selection to the undo list if only one object was selected. (Or would that add another little confusion?)

Wow, that's a great building with lots of nice details and techniques! That pub floor must be using a lot of parts...

That's a great layout with lots of nice details, hills, tunnels, bridges, ... Gotta remember this once I get to build my full layout next year...

Well, I agree with Legostein here: What can be pronounced as a word will be pronounced as a word. So I say "mock" and "A(y)-fol" (or "AH-fol" in a rather German context). Sometimes that's even true for abbreviations that don't look like they can be spoken as a word. SCSI for instance...

Maybe you missed it because it isn't only a hotel. :) Here it is.
-
Great hotel with a good-looking harmonious architecture. (There's no interior, I assume?) And nice to see another of the ancient "Hotel" bricks after I used one in my little hotel recently.

Well done! I've not only never seen a Lego funicular yet, but also none in real life that can transport cars...

WIP: City Section 3

Really amazing! Nice streets and bridge and a huge building that's taller than most people looking at it (when actually built)... -
Wow, these are great, realistic cars!

Now I don't know the show, but that's certainly a beautiful house with nice details and non-rectangular features and a nice stair car.

Thanks again! Yes. (Thanks to the CM pantomime and geisha heads.)

Thanks again! Show me a city that hasn't. There'll be a house above the river, but that will in fact be the left edge of my town. And there'll be one or two more houses on the right, next to the Pet Shop but lower, so we reach ground level (which means two rows high for brick-built roads, actually). I'm not sure yet what the front of the road - pretty close to the front edge of my setup - will look like, probably a wall and some low path to make for a nice front to look at...

Thanks, everyone! (Note that the little telephone and the spiral stairs are copied from the Pet Shop, though.)

How many buildings would you expect from a title like this? Well, it's just two small ones... Edit: If you can't see any images, it means that MOCpages is down once again – that's why I now uploaded them to Flickr, too. Backside: An unhappy landlord is going upstairs to the artist on the top floor. You know, the rent is late, he may have to litigate – but don't worry... ...the artist may have been pretty much unsuccessful so far, but now that he decided to turn to a new style with surreal fruit arrangements I'm sure he'll hit the big time in no time! :) There's also Mr Bricklowe, private investigator, and the mandatory femme fatale in his film noire-style office, built in black and white: ...and the PC shop... ...and the small hotel... ...with small, hard to photograph rooms (and a sleeping drunkard)... ...and a bearded man that some might recognize from last year's advent calendar taking a shower, though he sensibly removed his cap and underwear this time... ...and finally the bar in the basement: The buildings fit nicely in a row with the Pet Shop: And here's a little preview of what's to follow on the left (with all the support structures unveiled); I'm thinking about a 10-wide snack bar and above the little river, well, maybe a doctor's office: » See it on MOCpages with 18 additional photos As always, comments, criticism, praise, ideas, etc. welcome.

Oh, what a nice and true list. I'm currently at a stage where I move at least the normal bricks and plates from "sorted into small containers (drawers) by color group + overflow polybags" to "big container by color" (with special bricks and plates still nicely sorted)...
-
Enjoying to see this big building develop so nicely with all those details, the nice towels, your stickers, etc. Are you going to add a ton of customers and employees in the end, by the way?
-
If you can make use the parts, they certainly are. I'd start with 5891 because that seems to be at the end of its lifespan now – with the new 5771 as successor – and may be discounted in many shops; though I'm not sure since it isn't that old yet. At any rate, I just got another 2 from Amazon Germany at 25% off, for instance. (And I also don't like the bright red roof on the new one that much for my modulars...)

Great work on this ship, this would fit nicely in a harbour/train setup. But I hope the ship never gets into an emergency situation since you seem to have forgotten some life boats. :)
