  1. There may be a chance that is comes to S@H in January, but won't come to retailers like Target until March, like they did with the BvS sets last year. If not, Amazon might get the sets before March or you can BrickLink/use Ebay to get the sets.
  2. Awesome, man. I really like how compact it is, and also how that cockpit opens. Have you got the Landspeeder and Skiff?
  3. Currently, I think my favourite would have to be Krennic's IMperial Shuttle. Great figures, very sturdy, very sleek and a nice interior (though it is a little makeshift). The Rogue Shadow from 2008 and the 2010 Slave 1 come close, though. I've always liked the old Cloud City set, too. My least favourite might have to be the first ever A-Wing. I mean, they tried their best with what they had, but it looks hideous.
  4. Neat. I am looking into picking this one up, after seeing Rogue One I was once again spurred on to see ANH for like the 100th time, and I've become quite interested in this set.
  5. Has anyone bought Luke's Landspeeder yet?
  6. Same here in the UK, but the Phantom seems to be absent from all online sites other than Smyths and S@H
  7. Is the rumoured Rebel Hangar not an OT set? Granted, it's not from A New Hope, but it's still an OT set nonetheless.
  8. I see. At first I was confused but after googling ths ship it seems The Phantom is pretty much a Seperatist Shuttle with a paint job. Admittedly, I think the old one is better designed in shape and a little better in scale, but the new one definitely isn't bad at all. A little out, in contrast to the old shuttle, but it's still a neat ship and relatively accurate.
  9. How big is it meant to be? From what I've seen its scale is relatively accurate, but then again, I don't watch the show.
  10. I'm wondering, am I the only one who's really happy with the new Phantom? I don't really watch Rebels at all, but I've seen a few images of the new Phantom, and I think LEGO did a great job - it's a somewhat compact ship, not too huge, and I think they got the colour schemes more or less spot on, as well as the shape. It has a few nice features, I'm still curious as to how the spring-loaded shooters are activated (for those who have it/know, don't tell me! I want to leave it a mystery for when I build it), a neat little area for Chopper to reside, a well-integrated landing mechanism and a cosy storage area in the back, and some of those Thermal Detonator pieces (I've been dying to get my hands on one for a while now). I also think it'll be a great, collectible, extremely expensive set once it retires - the first Phantom has already more than doubled in price, and that doesn't have any really desirable figs in it - the new one obviously has Thrawn and also Blind Kanan (who I believe, for the time being at least, is exclusive to this set), two figs, especially the former, I see being very collectible and desirable after it retires. The ship itself I think at least is very cool, so its not like one of those sets where you get it just for the minifigs (I see Duel of the Fates being one of those). I've rambled a bit, but I'm curious as to whether I'm the only one who really likes the design of the ship itself - most people seem to be trashing it, as far as I've seen. And I haven't even built it yet! Can't wait for when it finally arrives, I'm hoping Monday but I can see myself getting it maybe Wednesday.
  11. Little bit of a closer look here at the new polybag Batmen that was found the other day.
  12. That's a neat set. but its price point is ridiculous.
  13. The sets seem to be out in most places, but aren't out in NA yet.
  14. Favourites out of all SW figs released: - 1) Battle Damaged Darth Vader - 2) UCS Slave 1 Boba - 3) Cloud City Lando - 4) Director Krennic - 5) Thrawn Least Favourites out of all SW figs released: - Any Clone Wars-style minifig - 2006 Dengar - Original Count Dooku - Any Stormtrooper with the Rebels-style helmet - Jar Jar (or any Gungan, really, I hate how they look) Favourites that I own (or will own in the very near future): - Director Krennic - Thrawn - Deathtrooper (more detailed version from Krennic's Shuttle) - Boba Fett - Dengar (new variant from the Eclipse Fighter)
  15. Ordered myself the new Phantom of the S@H, should arrive in a few days, can't wait!
  16. That's a neat head piece, to say the least.
  17. It was nothing special, just an ordinary marker. But, for such intricate detail, I'd try to get as fine a pen as you can. Has anyone bought the Desert Skiff yet? I'm somewhat inclined to buy it, but it seems to lack in features, and none of the figs other than Chewie particularly appeal to me.
  18. Just a quick heads up for any fellow UK folk - Tesco has some of the sets, mainly the Rogue One sets. at something of a substantial discount. Krennic's Shuttle is sitting at £50, TIE Striker at £37 and the U-Wing at just above £40 (but it's sold out ). There's a few others, but most are out of stock, so buy them while you can while they're dirt cheap. £50 for Krennic's Shuttle is nothing short of a HUGE steal. Get them while they're hot, offer looks like it ends on Sunday.
  19. I don't see the harm in using a fine marker pen. Leave it to dry, and it should be fine. I did this with a Flash helmet piece before simply with whiteboard marker and it stays on fine. If you're something of a purist, then yeah, I'd do that. Or get a simple yellow sticker rather than one from the set and do the same.
  20. It might be because of Battlefront, the U-Wing there has much more blue than the LEGO model. Might be wrong, but I think they said they got the models and stuff directly from LucasFilm. LEGO seems to get building and the images they need a long time before release, so maybe the the design changed in that time. Anyway, I'd love to see it modded with more darkblue throughout in place of the white.
  21. Am I the only one thinking the colouring is off? I thought the U-Wing had a sufficient amount of blue on its front in the movie, but the set only has blue around the cockpit. Kinda ruins it.
  22. It really is - it's the same price per piece ratio in the UK too. Thing is, LEGO know they can charge whatever they damn please for the set, since they know the big draw is Thrawn - collectors will be falling head over heels for him, no matter what the price is. Personally, I didn't buy this just for Thrawn - it's a really solid build, and Blind Kanan and Chopper are neat, too, but obviously, Thrawn is the big draw. Kind of like my feelings for Krennic's Shuttle. Amazing figs, the hevaily detailed Deathtroopers, Krennic himself, K-2SO, all very desirable figs, but the build there is fantastic, too, and great value for money.
