  1. It's only a small shop, so there were only a handful of employees, but one of them was giving me some nasty looks for feeling the packets up, so I just bought what I had picked up and decided to go.
  2. I tried, but I'm no good with it. I thought I picked up Red Hood, but it was March Harriet. It didn't help that the shop assistant was glaring me down as I felt for them, so I kind of just picked them up and hoped for the best.
  3. I went down to my local toy store on Saturday and found boxes upon boxes of CMF's, and all the new sets. I didn't buy any of the sets, but I pciked up 3 CMF's - I'm saving my money for the Star Wars wave for now, but I couldn't resist. What I got kinda disappointed me, since I got both March Harriet and Dick Grayson, figures I didn't really care for, but I did get Lobster Lovin' Batman, which somewhat makes up for it.
  4. I'm very disappointed that the most exciting sets of the wave are a Battle Pack and a small Vader set.
  5. I was thinking the same. With all the new sets across various themes, including this theme, I doubt I'd be able to get it.
  6. In my defence, I said that I doubted it. Personally I never hear people start ranting and raving about the Freemaker adventures, or how their kids are enjoying it so much. Rebels seems to be much more popular, and making sets on the Freemaker stuff over Rebels is a big mistake, in my opinion. Even random adults might pick up the new Phantom for Thrawn, or the A-Wing vs TIE Advanced set for Vader and Tarkin, or even to get the vehicles themselves. Point is, Rebels seems to be much more widely known and popular, so I think it's really dumb for LEGO to be cranking out these Freemaker sets rather than Rebels stuff that'll appeal to a much wider audience.
  7. Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with the Freemaker sets if there was only one maybe per wave. A little extra promotion for the show. But the Summer has what, 3 sets? These spots could be filled by more Rebels or Rogue One sets, but no, they're being filled by sets from a show I doubt most kids even watch.
  8. Yeah, that's possible. But it's a really odd figure. The Dent half is great, but the Two-Face half looks... eh.
  9. I hate the look of Two Face. His burnt side just looks wrong. I do, however, hope they release a Harvey Dent figure. I'd be very happy to see a minifig more or less of Billy Dee.
  10. Hmm, might have to get something next month then. Maybe the Arctic Roller and Riddle Racer.
  11. UCS Falcon? For goodness sake. Not only do I not want one, even if I did (and for most of you folk here), the price is going to be off the charts. This is disappointing news, but I knew it was coming. I hope the UCS Snowspeeder rumour is false and we're getting another UCS set instead.
  12. I gotta say, I'm fed up of stud shooters. Well, not completely, but as far as Battle Packs go, I definitely am. Originally, when they were introduced, I thought they were a cool concept, and I really liked them. But at this point, I'm fed up of getting them in place of regular blasters. At this point, I'm running very short of normal blasters to go around my various CW and OT infantry, and getting these stupid stud shooters in every battle pack is really frustrating me. Jangbricks made a review on the new Deathtrooper one, and had a good idea. Keep using the stud shooters, but also include normal blasters with the set. A great idea, in my opinion. The set doesn't lose playability, but we don't miss out. I do hope they get rid of the stud shooters, or find an alternative like the suggestion above so we still get normal blasters.
  13. I agree, it is indeed quite interesting. I do hope to see these across other themes. I think it'd work great in Star Wars for example with Bounty Hunters.
  14. What is this Battle Pod thing? It looks quite interesting, actually.
  15. I don't follow comics, really, so I wouldn't know. I just don't really like the suit.
  16. I'll buy the Landspeeder, I'm still in need of one and the figure selection is great, too.
  17. 1) Krennic's Imperial Shuttle. It's magnificent. It's freaking huge, folds out nicely in both the wings and it's centre, and has a great selection of minifigures. Enjoyable build, too. 2) Takodana. I really like this set, despite its questionable price tag. The build was very fun, it has a nice array of play features and of course, the minifigs are fantastic. Kylo Ren, Finn, Maz and TR-8R in the same set is pretty awesome. 3) Carbon Freezing Chamber. I know many have mixed feelings about this set, but I LOVE it. It's more for display really, and I'm happy with that. A great, small representation of an iconic scene with great figures too (Boba is identical to the UCS one, minus the arm printing and face, which pleasantly surprised me).
  18. I'd love to get a Bossk and IG-88, but I refuse to believe that LEGO would put such characters together in one set.
  19. Doesn't look fake to me. It's in official LEGO packaging, the same art used on the 2017 stuff and the build is polybag-worthy. I think it's real, and it looks pretty damn cool, too. I hope this'll just be a regular poly released in a newspaper promo or something, since I don't think I'd make a specific purchase for this, especially since I already have a couple of normal R2-D2's.
  20. Yeah, hi. I haven't really been interested in SW until the last couple years, and I don't feel like paying these pretty lofty prices for sets that have OT Leia in. I mean, I could buy the Resistance Troop Transporter set, but I'm not really interested in getting a ST Leia.
  21. I'm not sure if it has been posted, but the new sets are up on S@H for us Brits - https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Marvel-Super-Heroes-Sets
  22. The posters are cool, but on a slightly unrelated note I'm a bit disappointed they didn't get Martin Jarvis from the Arkham games to voice Alfred :-( And also: UK PEOPLE, the sets are now UP on S@H - https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/The-LEGO-Batman-Movie-Sets
  23. It is early in Australia, and you're really the only place in the world currently actually in 2017 - give it a couple of hours and I imagine the sets will appear.
  24. I haven't exactly bought it yet, but I've decided I'm going for the UCS Slave 1. The thing is awesome, and plus, I bet that Boba figure will go for loads on the after market in a couple years. I've always wanted a Slave 1 ever since I missed out on the 2010 one, so I guess this is how I'll be getting it. Where I'll put it though is another question, my shelves are looking rather clogged up for the moment.
