  1. Yeah, I just poked around for it and found the reviews. The Y-Wing set is really neat, I must say. The build looks great, and after my appreciation of the Y-Wing has somewhat gone up after playing Battlefront, I may pick this set up. That loading mechanism is possibly one of my favourite mechanisms inplemented into a LEGO set. The figs are okay I guess, not a huge draw, but they're minifigs nonetheless. The Scarif set is great, I must admit, but doesn't feel like it's worth the £50 price tag LEGO appear to have slapped on it. Maybe the set will mean more or appeal more to me after I've seen Rogue One (midnight tickets!!!) The figs there are great, but I feel like a regular Stormtrooper or Imperial Officer (this is a bunker, I'd be surprised if there wasn't an officer in charge there) wouldn't have gone amiss. 2 Shoretoopers are great, but I feel like something extra could've been added for some variety amongst the Imperial ranks.
  2. Oh, well, err, not sure how to respond to that one...
  3. Oooh, yes, I'd really like to see what's in the Asylum. Also, you didn't happen to get the Scuttler early, too, did you?
  4. Nice review! Did you manage to get your hands on the Phantom 2.0 and Battle of Naboo sets?
  5. That Scarecrow set is fantastic! However, the Scarecrow fig is kind of a let down. Couldn't they have used like a vest piece to put over a regular Scarecrow torso? Oh well, I hope the summer set Scarecrow is rumoured to be in gives us a regular version.
  6. I'd be surprised if it breaches the £40 mark. Either way, I'm happy to pass. There's no denying that's a great car they've put together and the Penguin fig is also splendid, but I feel like the minifig count here really brings the set down. Figs we've thought were in this kind of set before like Clock King for example would have been a welcome addition just to have more minifigs in there. In addition, it's just the car. This is the same gripe I have with the Batmobile and Lowrider - there's no kind of Bat-vehicle here to ride alongside it. Maybe a Bat-cycle or something could've been used just to balance the set out a bit. It just feels empty having just one build there and no smaller, secondary build to go alongside it.
  7. The picture looks like it's been taken at home... One can assume that he managed to buy the set. How, I have no idea.
  8. The fact that nobody seems to have got hold of the Thrawn and DotF sets makes me think they might have later releases... March, maybe? Also, would somebody be kind enough to link those reviews?
  9. HOLY CRAP! That's awesome! BUT. 2 FIGS. 2 Figures. That's terrible. Pass on that one. Nice set, but 2 figs is terrible value. That might sound a bit weird but personally I find the minifigs included to be a very key part to the overall value and decency of the set. Hell, look at the Riddle Racer. Last time I checked that's just Riddler's car, but still has 5 figs. This set needs one extra fig AT LEAST. Well, I wonder how long it'll be before we see the Scarecrow set up close.
  10. Damn you America. I need that Freeze set!
  11. If I'm not wrong, isn't November 27th the official release in America?
  12. So, looking at the rumours we had for the summer, it says there's a Vader Transformation set for 30 euros. How are they going to squeeze 30 euros worth of set out of that? Literally all that scene is is just pretty much a table with Vader strapped to it. The only way I can see them making that set sell for 30 euros is by putting both Vader and Palpatine in that set. Maybe even a burnt Anakin like from the old set. While I'm looking forward to this set, I don't really see how they're going to make a set for that kind of price out of such a small scene (in terms of spectacle/size) and hope to make it sell well.
  13. I'm more intrigured by that Death Trooper, it looks leagues below the detail of the ones in the Krennic set.
  14. @Delta Customs Am I reading the figs right???
  15. I can live without that one.
  16. Wow, talk about over-priced. Let's just hope there's a sale somewhere.
  17. These are... meh. Some of them are disappointing, others look great - I will be very disappointed if I don't get my hands on the Red Hood, Calculator and Eraser figs.
  18. Agreed, I imagine they'll just go all out with a muscly torso print rather than making him a big fig. Also, could this warrant a Bat-Tank, like out of TDKR? It would be fitting with Mutant Leader in the set.
  19. A Mutant Leader fig and Bane in the same set?! Count me in. Thanks @Delta Customs for the info!
  20. $25 for Duel of the Fates... Wouldn't that make that £20 here? If so, that is amazing, if you ask me. Three very desirable figs and a nice build too, not bad at all.
  21. Hooooooly Hannah I've missed a lot. The new sets look awesome! Yoda's Starfighter, man, that's a cute but cool set. Figs are fantastic, and the Starfighter just looks cool all-round. Micro-fighters... Meh, never really liked them. Battle Packs... Well, they're cool I guess. I am a little annoyed that Deathtroopers are being included so cheaply, kinda makes them seem less rare, but that's just me being selfish 'cause I have the Krennic Shuttle. However, they look less detailed on the torso and are missing the pauldron, so I can't be too beaten up. Battle on Scarif is an easy pass, but the two party pieces here are Duel of the Fates and The Phantom. Let's start with the Naboo set. It looks AWESOME. The figs are fantastic, for a start. Maul does have that weird head, but I can just switch it out for an old one, so I'm not too beaten up. The set itself looks fantastic - it might not be a massive set, but what looks to be £30 is good value for such an iconic scene, what looks like a good amount of play features and 3 cracking figs. And now the new Phantom. It's fantastic. It just is. The Phantom itself is really quite colourful, and I like that. The ship looks quite compact and sturdy, and the fact I can already see some spring shooters are a good start. And the figs, well, they're pretty amazing. Chopper, meh, nice to see him I guess. Blind Kanan looks fanastic. That visor piece looks fntastic on him, and fits perfectly. And Grand Admiral Thrawn himself. Anyone who's seen my replies probably knows I was super-hyped to see the fig, and I am not disappointed. He looks fantastic. Like he's been taken straight out of the show and put into minifig form. However. HOWEVER. Where's his red eyes? C'mon LEGO, you made one of the most loved Star Wars characters after 17 years, and didn't use one of his key characteristics? Man, that sucks. However, it's still Thrawn, and he still looks awesome, so I can't complain. What's the price of this? The set kinda says £20 to me, but I imagine it'll be £30. Very happy with the 2017 line-up. Wasn't there a Skiff set that was meant to be out in the Winter Wave too? Is that an exclusive or something?
  22. I personally beg to differ. The Joker balloon set is an easy pass, as is The Batmobile. The Tail-Gator I thought wasn't amazing, and I'm not too sold on the Riddle Racer. And jeez that Batcave, it's horrendous if you ask me.
  23. There can't be many. Marvel will likely have some news soon, but there really aren't many themes they've revealed for 2017. Like I said last week, I will be very surprised if the sets aren't revealed by the end of Sunday.
  24. I'm going up to London Saturday to visit the new store, apparently it really is massive. However, as an official store, they probably won't have them since the official release isn't for a week or two. They might have some of the sets on display though, in another one in London they have cabinets with the sets in.
  25. Yeah, it'd the new poly. However your image will be removed very swiftly by the mods once they see this.
