  1. It could be a S@H exclusive, but maybe more for a VIP event relating to DC Comics like the Bat-Pod. This could also be like the Martian Manhunter figure also, or maybe even be the new exclusive figure for a new LEGO DC game, but that's next to impossible, especially it being a Legion of Superheroes figure, something I hadn't even heard of until 5 minutes ago. It could be a TRU exclusive, which is probably the more likely case, but the figure just doesn't seem well known enough. Like say it was, I don't know, a Knightfall Batman, or a Red Son Superman. People would flock to that, but Cosmic Boy... I hadn't heard of him either until 5 minutes ago. Little kids wouldn't want it, he just doens't seem appealing to them for it to be a character most kids won't know.
  2. Well they definitely used elements of an old print with the batsymbol and belt (i believe), no other superheroes figure has used an old print so far except Harley's hat and a few other hair/headpieces (e.g Two-Face's hair)
  3. Right so I've been away for a few days and I come back to this, and I've taken a good look at these. I must say the Grey and Blue batman looks more convincing than the supposed 'Beyond' figure, but it still doesn't scream legit. LEGO wouldn't re-use an original print (Electro Batman was re-used as it was to reflect his LB2 appearance) 10 years after its original release, especially not for an Adam West minifigure. If that was to be the 66 Bats figure it's real lazy from LEGO, and isn't 76053 meant to be a Suicide Squad kind of set? If it is, I would see them using Batfleck again over a re-print like that. With the Beyond figure, that has to be fake. You can see the grey background in the wings and that screams to me that it's just a paint job, albeit a good one other than in those places. With the torso... That can't be legit either, especially if it genuinely doesn't have back printing, no Superheroes fig has had that ever. They would also use a proper torso with the proper BB logo than a coloured bat-symbol that barely resembles that logo, and if it is legit, then it is an extremely poor figure. The Joker Nurse could be real, but I could see them using a Black Widow hairpiece in green rather than his Tumbler hair piece. The torso definitely looks legit/half-decent to me. That's my view on these supposed 'New 2016 figures'.
  4. I really don't like those wings, they look sketchy around the edges, Didn't they do that with the Electro Batman? That torso was a recoloured print of the grey and black torso from 2006, it could be real. Never recoloured a design... ELECTRO BATMAN GUYS STOP FORGETTING ELECTRO BATMAN!
  5. I think this should be Batman's main cast' last year as prominent figures. In 2017 (I know, it's a long way away), they should start bringing in at least a wider variety of Batman villains, another Croc, another Freeze, Firefly, Ra's Al Ghül should get a shot. We keep getting new variants of characters we're barely interested in. Wow a new Joker with a BLUE undercoat!!! OMG!... If they want to keep adult fans interested then they need to start expanding the universe or bring in a new sub-theme such as the Arkham games and the CW shows to keep adult DC fans in the stream.
  6. I'm kinda annoyed at LEGO in their way of dealing with the Justice League (Beyond Batman and Superman). The only year we've seen sets primarily based on the Justice League is this year. And that was 6 sets (inc. 6862 from 2012) out of the what, 25? 30? Now don't get me wrong, Batman is my favourite DC character, so the more Batman the merrier, but I wish there was better handling of the rest of the Justice League.
  7. Well, it would be silly to retire The Tumbler this year. They obviously worked hard on creating the set, and I believe they only released it in August last year, which would mean it was only out for a year and a 1/3 if they were to retire it this year. I'd say next year is the best bet, probably retired after Xmas so they can get more sales for Xmas.
  8. Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but does anyone know when The Tumbler (76023) retires? Standard retail time is 2 years for normal sets, but for UCS I have no idea.
  9. Sorry if this is just an abrupt comment breaking up the discussion, but will we be seeing Dart Vader again in a cheap-ish set? The final duel set is nice but doesn't seem £70 to me, and I really need a Vader!
  10. Most of them come with basic leg colours other than Captain Cold, so I doubt it'd be too much effort to give a nice pair of proper legs. Can someone tell me how we're getting Thanos? I've seen his name pop up a few times saying 'we know we're getting him', so what set will that be? Forgive me if I made a mistake and just being stupid.
  11. I guess, shame there's no red goggles for him though. I'd definitely like to see an Arkham Knight Batmobile, especially in UCS form.
  12. So with Deadshot are we talking his LB3 versions (inc. DLC one) or something entirely different? And am I the only one who wants CW/Arkham series based sets for DC at some stage? I guess Arkham Asylum was loosely based off the videogame 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' but it wasn't anything official (relating to the game) nor special, just a great collector's piece with great figs and for a kid some good scenarios such as using the helicopter set from 2012 and then 'locking' The Joker up in the Asylum after beating him. Edit: Just looked through the forums, seems there isn't an actual look from the prelims at Deadshot. Also, as you can probably see by the big banner on the side I'm a new member and don't really know much about how we get all this information, can someone tell me how we get information of prelims and sets about 4 months before they come out?
  13. Do you think we'll see a Reverse Flash figure soon? And I wonder if the Batcycle is like the 2008 or 2012 ones, or based off the Bat-Pod.
