Very good! You did a great job representing your flag, a skilful use of the white background to make the bottom of the main coat of arms, two birds with one stone! -
[GBW] - Tank with crew diorama - Plighia - Ready to go!
ParmBrick replied to ParmBrick's topic in The Great Brick War
Thank you all!! It will soon bring despair to the enemy -
While the Echo Sierra base is expanding, heavy armored vehicles from the motherland have arrived, which after being unloaded, go through a final overhaul by the base mechanic. Here they are inspected, and tuned, now that the war has begun, there is a lot of work to be done, and the line outside is very long, but now the mechanics are prioritizing the tanks. It's the turn of the tank from the "Arkangel of Death" crew who gave the tank its name. They have been called to the workshop to be updated on the availability of their tank, and to discuss the latest "improvements". M1A2C at the Mechanic by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr M1A2C at the Mechanic by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Mechanic: "Well, here we are, the tank is ready to go guys, we have just finished fixing the engine injection system, and fine-tuned the transmission and gearbox, also, as you requested, we have installed a terrific subwoofer, you will have some bass very powerful when listening to the new car radio." Cpt. Sergio Lonee: "Perfect! During the last conflict we were dying of boredom when we went to battle, now we will have a lot of fun with lots of good music." Lt. Harry Weazel: "I downloaded the playlist with the most recent songs, we will never run dry again, also look at this little gem, a tank beast, it has never disappointed us, and has always served us very well, we will be in an iron barrel." M1A2C at the Mechanic by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Cpl. August Domain: "When will it be ready to be officially deployed?" Mechanic: "As soon as we finish with the last cards, it will be all yours again, plus we know you will be deployed soon, fear not, everything will be ready in time to be in the front row." Sgt. Logan Heindrich: "Well guys, let's get ready, if everything goes according to plan we will be leaving in the next two days." M1A2C at the Mechanic by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr

So the war has started. Plighia has decided to convert and renovate an old abandoned military base on the western borders of Soalon, no longer in the official maps, rather than building a new one in a location more exposed to attack, more inside Soalon. A new headquarter for Plighia Military Forces. The internal conflict in the country has degenerated to the point that the Plighia embassy has been stripped of part of its powers which have been transferred to the new base: "Echo Sierra", for safety. The new base it is still nearing completion but the troops already have the first housing, and the intelligence has its offices fully operational. One of the main buildings are the intelligence offices: a large building at the entrance to the base equipped with the latest technological discoveries for digital warfare and the collection of information from all over the country at war. Plighia Echo Sierra Base by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Plighia Echo Sierra Base by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr The entire base is extremely protected, but despite this, several people circulate around the base itself, as if they want to study it, the high wall prevents bystanders outside the base from observing the interior, but the guards outside can monitor the trafficking in civilians. Guard 1: "Two civilians just walked past the main gate, glancing inside. They arrived by car a little while ago, and parked nearby. Unfortunately this is the sixth time this has happened this week, with different civilians." Guard on the roof: "Right, but we can't do anything about it as long as they are just "civilians", we are on the plain, and there are no hills nearby, so it is difficult for them to have a general idea of the place. Fortunately, we already have a large garrison inside, and the wall prevents leaks." Soldiers inside the perimeter: "Let's get moving, our team leaders want us to boot camp for yet another test of our abilities, let's show them that the Rats and the Desert Fox are always on the spot, in a few days we leave." On the ground floor of the building there are some offices, the secretariat, and the cafeteria, here the employees control the operation of the base, between a coffee and a snack. Plighia Echo Sierra Base by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Secretary 1: "In recent days we have had the green light to move the first peace forces across the country, the representatives of the PSIC countries are still in conversation to decide what to do. There will be a great hustle and bustle now." Secretary 2: "Do you hear the news? Our Secretary of State is discussing with the ambassador whether it is appropriate to transfer the latest activities from the embassy to this base, but for the moment the ambassador does not intend to leave the capital." On the first floor is the meeting room, where soldiers and officials take their last orders and organize themselves. Plighia Echo Sierra Base by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Soldier 1: "Well, I called you two to show you the latest directives from the Cpt. Parms, you will be assigned under his supervision from now on in Rats Team 2. As you distinguished yourself on the battlefield during the last conflict." Soldier 2: "Finally, I've been waiting for this day for a long time, and now that we move, every day will never be the same, as being in the rear." on the second floor there are the real intelligence offices and the server room, complete with a station for attacks and reconnaissance with drones. Plighia Echo Sierra Base by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr General: "Our satellite network is constantly monitoring the flow of news and communications on the territory of SOalon, unfortunately, we do not know very well who we are dealing with and how many forces they have, but thanks to satellites and stealth drones we can monitor their movements on the territory and have a better idea of our enemy." Intelligence operator: "The latest news gathered tells us that the KLR is amassing forces on the eastern border, and is ready to act against Soalon at any moment. While there is news of BS operating cells scattered throughout the territory, with a certain freedom of movement and operation."

[GBW] - National Leader - Absaroka - Mr President
ParmBrick replied to French Man's topic in The Great Brick War
Very nice little diorama and nice illumination! The command bridge of the ship is very well done, it seems to be really on board. But isn't it a little risky for your president to get that close to the theater of war? -
[GBW] - National Flag - Plighia - Per Aspera Ad Astra
ParmBrick replied to ParmBrick's topic in The Great Brick War
Thank you all! Actually it's precisely the effect I wanted to give to the flag, I'm a lover of Far Eastern culture, their civilization and their spirituality (with all the associated symbolisms). -
The nation of Plighia has gone through numerous phases throughout its history, it has been a victim of invasions and divisions for much of its time, without a real identity. Only in the early 1900s did the nation experience such stability that the people decided to unite under a single banner, under a single flag, as a realized community. Thus was born the flag of Plighia, representing the strength and the union of the two peoples (the two swords that converge) that were once divided and are now united, a force that projects itself beyond the Earth, to the stars (the sun of noon on the flag), beyond all adversity.

Thank you very much for the compliments Feel free to use those minifigures, currently I'm not going to use them, unless there is opportunity, meaning I have some of those ready-to-use minifigs, but they are part of my "Navy Seals" water raiders, which feature scuba devices, but it's easy for me to convert them to other minifigs if you have to use them extensively.

Tensions in Soalon are at a critical point, with numerous attacks on the nation's main targets and on corporate branches, including those in Plighia, in the region. Recently the diplomats of the Plighia embassy were forced to flee after the riots in the capital, only to return when the waters have calmed down. At this point, an emergency meeting was necessary at the "War Room" in a secret location, with the representatives of the presidential cabinet. GBW RELOADED - Presentation - Madame President in the War Room by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr General 1: "Madame President, the crisis in Soalon has reached the attention of government and military leaders all over the world, preparations are currently underway to deploy peacekeepers to secure the nation and drive out terrorists, namely the Brotherhood of Soalon and the Kriviyat League of Republics, the latter seem to have numerous interests in controlling the region's resources, while the former want to rebuild Soalon's glorious past by force and fear." State Secretary: "President, according to our intelligence both the BS and the KLR are organizing operational bases in the region, enclaves, heavily militarized and defended, currently difficult to reach by our peacekeepers moving towards Soalon." GBW RELOADED - Presentation - Madame President in the War Room by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Madame President Samina Scrool: "I understand your concerns, I am currently in contact with other nations who intend to participate in the PSIC coalition of the peacekeepers, some have already given the availability, probably others will join in the future, at present we must be strong, and it is clear from the outset that we will be dealing with a delicate situation and that our forces will be surrounded by enemies from the beginning." GBW RELOADED - Presentation - Madame President in the War Room by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Defense Secretary: "Madame president, we are currently aware of the fact that it will be an "all against all", the BS do not intend to forge alliances with the KLR, and we will never compromise with the enemy, nor if they are terrorists, let alone the KLR , our enemies of all time." General 2: "This conflict will be a massacre for our troops, trapped under the crossfire, but defending our interests and bringing peace to the world has always been our winning strategy, we have waged several wars in the past, several winners, our troops will stand out on the battlefield!" Foreign Minister: "I hope that all possible resources will be made available to us and our allies in this conflict that will ensnare Soalon, we will never recognize every extremist government that takes office, we will do everything to prevent it, a democratic government elected by the people is the solution." GBW RELOADED - Presentation - Madame President in the War Room by Jordan Parmegiani, su Flickr Madame President Samina Scrool... *look at the screen with the map of Soalon*... "So it is decided, I will speak to the parliament on these matters, subsequently I will speak to the nation informing them about PSIC operations in Soalon, and finally I will sign the presidential decree for the final deployment of the troops in Soalon. The war has begun."

[MOC] Lego M1A2C Abrams SEP V3-TUSK2 (updated)
ParmBrick replied to ParmBrick's topic in The Military Section
Thank you very much! I was not satisfied with the old look of my M1 Abrams so I studied a lot the real look and proportions of the real tank to apply in this update. I am very satisfied with the result. -
Hi mates! This is my last update of my flagship Main Battle Tank: M1A2C Abrams USA's MBT with SEP V3 and TUSK2. This is the latest operational update by the US Defense to its M1 Abrams prior to the M1A2D version currently under development. It has increased power generation and distribution, better communications and networking, new Vehicle Health Management System (VHMS) and Line Replaceable Modules (LRMs) for improved maintenance, an Ammunition DataLink (ADL) to use airbust rounds, improved counter-IED armor package, improved FLIR using long- and mid-wave infrared, a low-profile CROWS RWS, Next Generation Armor Package (NGAP),and an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) under armor to run electronics while stationary instead of the engine, visually distinguishing the version by a small exhaust at the left rear. More passive ballistic protection added to the turret faces, along with new Explosive Reactive Armor mountings (Abrams Reactive Armor Tile (ARAT))and TROPHY Active Protection systems added to the turret sides. Prototypes began testing in 2015,and the first were delivered in October 2017.The first unit received them in July 2020. Other images on my flickr!

Hi @TheBeeze I just read the rules for the next phase, and I have a few questions about it at the moment. 1) Is there the possibility of regaining a quadrant that has been lost to re-establish the supply line? If so, do you have to act as in the case of conquering any enemy quadrant, or is there a different method? 2) Is there the possibility that a moc / diorama can be built as regards the "Presentation Builds" that contain more than one characteristics than those listed? For example, a moc / diorama with a national flag, leader and commanders all together. If so, does the count of the final points to be assigned follow the sum for the points of the individual criteria, always if the criteria are exceeded? See example above: 5 + 5 + 2 = 12 points, does it work like this? Or should we create individual creations centered around those individual criteria? 3) Can we present mocs, men and vehicles already seen during the old phases, or must they all be new mocs to be able to enter the maximum evaluation criteria (and therefore exceed the mission) for each type of mission? Thanks for the attention.

Impressive! The use of an RC system makes it without a doubt much more realistic, its dimensions are such as to allow you to put in all the details of the case. I would also be curious to see a test video, and see how the tracks behave on an obstacle

Thank you very much! I imagined that there was already something boiling in the pot regarding the game map, really well done, rich in detail and colorful from an environmental point of view. It will not be an easy task to advance and conquer territories in this region. I imagine that the starting quadrants for each faction are congruent with their task, I mean, I imagine that PSIC can start from a naval port, an air base, or near the border, characterized by a certain environment favorable to the occupation itself. The KLR in turn will be able to start from similar points on the map, as for PSIC, and finally the BS will have its own starting dials in some city, village, or region within the map itself, in line with its task and role. Obviously this is just my imagination, as one could think strategically about a possible start of the game, it could also be otherwise. Finally, I think that at the beginning all the sides are in different positions from each other, a minimum of spaced, to allow greater freedom in the first phase of the game, before moving on to the actual clashes between the factions themselves.

[MOC] 1:200 Iowa-Class Battleship
ParmBrick replied to chuck_in_charge's topic in The Military Section
WOW! What a model! Being able to design such a moc is not for everyone, I imagine how much study behind it, and hours of hard work to succeed in this undertaking. I am also impressed that you were able to translate the project concretely into a real model. This is dedication. I would be curious to see more recent ship mocs, like Cold War and modern wars. Keep it up!
