If it stays like wave 1, 10$ set could have no books, Aaron and Macy vehicle with bots but no books, Magmar with a book, Axl with a book and a bot, Volcano with the Book of Monster... trans-red-orange ? trans-blue ? trans-pink would make me happy... Not sure... But Lego elves will get a beautiful non transparent red one if I am correct. http://images.brickimedia.org/3/30/41176-1.jpg I was not very happy with my Ultimates, but opening Chaos Chariot was very satisfying. The big globlins have a beautiful blood red hue. And the book is beautiful. Not very easy to display all of them in shelves though, as the side is not the best angle. Maybe 2 for each (small) shelf, with one up and one laying. So the 2 covers can be seen...

What would be the first and third for you ? just curious

Good point, thank you ! Are you sure the size doesn't change ? using hinge brick 1x4 and not hinge brick with locking 2 fingers horizontal, together they are 1x5 no ?...

the ugly separation where the walls will open. The biggest loophole/arrow slit in history. First thing I will correct with hinge brick 1x4. Funny the old classic castle were much better in that regard. A technical issue maybe ? or did they do it for the friction ? or to gain 1 stud in length ?

I am in Poland, same delivery cost. So, I hope german prices will go down... But for the Bounty, France Amazon had a 30% discount for half of November and December, while german prices were significantly higher... So I am not sure I should wait, maybe better to now use my parents living in France... (My wife complain my Lego budget is half the GDP of Poland, but the effort (methodical web browsing, field visit in the shops, sleepless nights of optimization...) I put everyday to save a couple of bucks should offer me much more consideration...)

Specific hair pieces should be the first step though... (with the Ultimates, my amor collector urges are already satisfy for 2016) humm, the Fortrex is up to 99€ on lego shop Germany, but 30% discount on French amazon 70€...

Mine too ! (8 years old), but what is not to love about 2 giants awesome globlins... And Macy !! and a red hover horse !! And he likes Beast Master (who has a nice head but is probably my least favorit vilain). Got it today and Jestro mobile. Will open them tomorrow.

Interesting, thank you. I would be happy very happy to see a photo with the blade, the horse, the Fortrex and the King Mech together. I am not fan of Infernox. But to be fair, except the Fortrex and the hover horse (and maybe the king Mech, even if Lego Mecha are not my favorit), I love the playability of NK sets but am not too fond of the design (very difficult to have both, I know), I prefer the last Ninjago one. The chaos Chariot has huge potential for exemple, but the back is a bit boring, etc... It's mostly the minifigs and their equipement which got me, and especially the lovely bad guys... (and the books !!I will buy all of them, I am even considering buying the Elves secret market place for the book and the purple stair, perfect for a Ava room/library on my planned "improved" Fortrex)

NB : The Fortrex is same length for 2,5 times the price... (but wider and much higher). Still I will go for the Fortrex without an hesitation. Be part of the History ! It could/should become an iconic and classic set, the incarnation of the theme. The comparison would probably be more fair with the coming Volcano Base... Closer price point, probably more impressive, but probably less original design wise...

I guess the general opinion would be that new armors are very unlikely. 1 or 2 knights should appear only once in the 7 sets, it would be kind of a waste. 2017 much more probably...

you are right. I was surprise when I saw the friends of my son prefering Ultimate Aaron over Lance Horse, 3 nexo powers > 1 nexo power...

Indeed, I like the cool design. My son love it, super playability. But (except some 10$ boxes) it has the worst price/pieces ratio of the sets. And to display I prefer the Fortrex. The most emblematic set of the wave. Plus I am into heavely modifying the sets, and the Fortrex has more rooms for that. By the way, they kind of mess up the differention between the 2 big good guy sets. Both having scurriers, Clay and Ash Attacker... I feel that if you invest 80$ in the theme, the Blade cruiser is a very legit option. But if you want to make the best of 150$-350$, it could be a pass... (Fortrex, Evil Mobile and Chaos Chariot give you all the knights and the core of the bad guys for 190$, then for good guys : King Mech or Library over the Cruirser for the figs... But then Wave 2 will arrive and change the equation... (with Axl tower transport probably pairing well with the Cruiser over the Fortrex)

My son got Ultimate Aaron, Lance horse and Clay blade from friends for his birthday. I am not impressed by the Ultimate, nice armor and shields, but not enough for the price tag (especially if you compare it to the new Cole Dragon for example)... He will try to exchange the 2 others sets for bad guys vehicles. Hoping Flame thrower and the Scurrier will come back in wawe 2 in a set we like...

Could be dangerous if direclty shot with a spring or elastic rubber, no ? and a catapult is a different concept... Would need some rubber part or a small throwing power...

I am sceptical... mostly support the idea V2 will be the same kind of concept as V1 (some kind of flying ballista). The V1 is already kind of too big for the Fortrex, if you make it few stud wider it will not fit anymore : I am wandering what the V2 will shot. V1 having already the biggest projectile (even a double 6 stud shooter would be lackluster...). Maybe something like the boulder blaster ?

True but a volcano base smaller than the 1140 pieces (including lots of studs) Fortrex (9” (25cm) high, 8” (21cm) wide and 9” (24cm) deep) would be disapointing... I am still hoping for a 1200+ pieces sets. (2015 Bounty is 1253 pieces, 120$, with 9 minifigs, and 2 minions as some of you like to add those to the total ...).

If the Fortrex cost 100$, with 4 figs... a 7 figs castle should be significantly higher

If I am not wrong, the dutch source said 116,99 euros, so probably 120$, the typical price point for big action (winter) sets.

Look fresh indeed, but I will try not to buy it. Will not fit on my Fortrex. Space (like money, and time for some is a limited ressource) (I will be more generous with the vilains, small vehicles can be tolerate around the volcano). So I hope there will be not book or exclusive minigifs on it. So far I planned to buy all sets with books...
