  1. You guys...I watched the review of the Sky Castle and I am very tented now... my "small" incursion within Elves territories will cost me...
  2. I am super new to the theme, order some sets but didn't received any yet, hence my curiosity, but on photos, I would say : Minifig: Sira for her color scheme, pastel hair but still contrasty. There is something I like in Tidus vivid colors as well (but find Aira, Faran, Naida and Emily a bit too dull, and Azira too flashy). Had to google Skyra and she is indeed nice and original. Set: Secret Market place Animal: probably Ragana black pet Dragon: hum, not sure, difficult to judge on photo, as we only see few angles : I like Zonya head and colors but not conviced by her tail... I like Merina colors and tail (matching dragon wings), but not convinced by her head... so maybe Thorn overall (average but satisfaying, same for his realistic colors). Not fan of the purpled one's colors. And the white one is too big... But I would love a spiky Ragana dragon... and even if she is a bit too classical/disney I kind of like Ragana too :
  3. Just curious, and sorry if that was already discussed, but what is your favorite elves minifig ? Your favorite animal cutie ? Your favorite dragon ? Thanks !
  4. Do we know, or is their a consensus on guessing if Lego will produce (or not) new Lego Elves in 2017 ? The theme looks very successful and the good thing with Fantasy is that the possibilities are endless.... Any wild guess on a possible theme ? Dragons will be hard to beat... (but TLG designs keep impressing me, so...). Could they make winged mini-dolls ? (Butterfly/dragonfly/Faery style) It would be beautiful...
  5. oh, didn't think about that. Let's see. Armored rather than organic characters goes well with constraction figures. But as oppose to Chima (Lion head, wings, croco tails...), the knights doesn't have so much difference in design, so they could end up dull... Plus, they would need to find some weird excuse to incorporate these giants in the background (a separate line just for collectors would not be enough imho). And the Star wars line has real humans proportion to imitate. NK characters only appear as lego, they would need to look as the new giant Ant man "fig". Impossible to oversized without modiying their design. But maybe something like Hero Factory Attack from Below could work, normal knights figs in their construction knight mechs opposed to giants villains ?
  6. thank you all for your advises/comments. I went to see the reviews of the mentioned sets. Within 2015 sets, I think I will go for the Ship and the Sleigh (they are both at 30% discount on amazon.fr by the way). I prefer the design of 2016 sets, but I feel without vehicles, they stand incomplete by themselves. I know dragons are kinda replacing vehicles, complementing the lovely buildings with their swooshability... But 1 or 2 dragons is enough for me, don't want to be tented to collect them all. Same for the buildings, would love to collect a village, but don't want to invest too much in the theme. I like the Treetop, but prefer the Market. A very good stand alone location. And would rather get the Ragana castle rather than the sky castle for diversity sake (and for the outstanding look !! )... If my son is into it, I will then consider buying secondary sets for the figs/babydragons etc... like the dragon school, the Mine... The Sanctuary has a very good value (585pc/50$), but I feel it's more for the dragons collectors... Same for the Queen Dragon rescue... (833 pc/70$). Perfect to complement the castle, but together they make a 170$ set... And I would get it more for the building than the dragon... (but I guess my son will differ and after all will need more than a few sets to fill 2 playmates... ). (PS : like Ninjago, I feel Elves 2016 is uncannily well thought in term of "we will make you buy them all". The baby dragons are too cute, and who would like orphans baby dragon without their respective mums...) (PPS : as oppose to Nexo Knights, for me, the value of the elves sets is not into the minifigs, rather easy to collect/bricklink (except Ragana) but into the awesome buildings, trees, rocks...). For example, I would love to buy the Lava cave without figs and dragon...
  7. Sorry, I don't have it.
  8. Thanks for your review/comments. Much appreciated NB : You are unlucky, in a lot of EU countries (the usual suspects : France, Germany...) it costs 60€ and 55€ in Amazon germany with a free delivery to NL no ? http://www.pricevortex.com/#lego-elves Just curious, which sets from 2015 would you consider the best ? I am afraid the secret Market place will make me enter into buying Lego Elves... (I got Azari Bakery with a nice discount but for the pieces...) I will probably manipulate my second son to want them for his 4th Birthday... My 8 years old collecting Ninjago, it will be a nice complement to the family. Strangely my wife is much more into Elves than Nexo Knights and Bionicles... And I will buy 2 elves playmate, 50% discount on Lego shop
  9. a cheap but huge (exotic wood) table Same here, my 8 years old son didn't event build it...
  10. thanks to a small (and weak...) green ninja opponent vehicle, the Misfortune Keep has a very decent size, compare for example to the 50% more expansive Bounty :
  11. I bought the last Ninjago magazin, Clouse for 2,30 € is a very good deal... Vive la Pologne !! Next month superprezent :
  12. My guess, beside the good design (cute temple, high-grounds, NPU...) : -the island is small, but it makes for a good figs/price ratio. -plus the bigfig appeals. -the summery/fresh look of the set is neat -you got a base to play in, with 3 locations (a cave, a temple, a jungle path) and 2 (mini) vehicles, which make the set feels complete (like Wu dragon...) and possibly : it's the only base in vehicle heavy wave, making it feel even more special ? But I would argue Jay dragon and the Zeppelin got a lot of hype as well... (and similarly the coming Watchtower Defence is very hyped for his good looks and good minifigs selection, 2 things very appealing to AFOL...)
  13. His airjitzu maybe ? My son has them all (Pitch, Hackler, Soul Archer... it's like 19 of them with Loyd no ? but maybe some only appear in the cartoon...) but they feel kinda all the same to me, often mixing the same pieces, my main complaint with this awesome 2015 wave. Ninjago 2016 in that regard is a big improvement.
  14. Nobody will dare to steal your keyes...
  15. Did someone get the monster sketch book (lego store) ? http://shop.lego.com/en-BE/NK-Monsters-shetch-book-853528?fromListing=listing
  16. That's a complete answer And I think the green book of revenge from the Library come as well in the Volcano castle. http://onuasurge.deviantart.com/art/Jestro-s-Volcanic-Lair-2-587159559
  17. Could very well be, one is still missing, and Sparkz is less thant 100 pcs. Seeing Sparkz and Burnzie but not Infernox, nor this potential new lava giant in the Lego NK website could hint at something more brick-build (like Infernox) than mixelish/bigfigish (like Sparkz and Burnzie).
  18. Thanks !! It's very similar to the King mech in size, the set could follow that as well. The mech in the king mech is approx 350 pieces, but the Black Mech set is supposed to be 530 pc, so possibly 180 pieces for an extra (not so) small build (or 2)... Hopping for something similar to the Wu dragon set as mentioned by TPLSTER21. Like a trolley and a small building part...
  19. have you seen this ? (ninjago trading cards coming in Europe) https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blue-ocean-ag.de%2Fnews%2Fweltpremiere-blue-ocean-bringt-erstes-lego®-ninjago-trading-card-game&sandbox=1
  20. Don't be modest, super review, perfect photos. Thanks a lot !!
  21. She is lovely, thanks !! Do we know how Robin is dress inside his mech ? Having a normal Robin in the last set will make an exclusive Queen much more likely... Having 3 exclusive figs in a 40$ sets is asking a lot to NK...
  22. Perpermint asked what's our idea of NK (typical/average ?) colour ratio, IMHO, beside the different bulding technics, if you put your builds among NK sets, one will notice they are not TLG made. Too much adjoining adjoining blue for your cute dragon, too much dark grey for your walls for exemple... But yes, your color scheme work very well per se, and still fit well with the NK sets, so who cares... PS : I love your walls !!
  23. Yes your color ratio is very good, I would say just less dark bluish grey. http://brickset.com/...me-Nexo-Knights
  24. I would say normal Blue is the main surface color, with dark Blue equally used for the armored pieces. More light grey than dark grey. For the sructure. Checking brickset part description could probably help, for the pieces ratio and color/type of pieces but they are not complete yet... http://brickset.com/sets/70315-1/Clay-s-Rumble-Blade maybe 30% blue, 30% dark blue, 30% grey, 5% dark grey or silver, 5% trans orange (and black if you put wheels...)
  25. So I guess we will get then in Robin black mech (the last 2016 set) a blobling, 3 spider globlins, an evil white rabbit, an angry ghost, a wizzard-scurrier, a worker-scurrier and Skubrick the camera-scurrier... (and at some point 2 scarry giant yellow heads !!! ) sorry I had to play my "happy if it happens but skeptic meanwhile" anthem... mostly for the black shark guys being, in the present state, too mono-chramatic, and for the very unusual (for TLG) exhibitionism.Very happy chinese couterfeit production facilities should be already imitating them to beat the danish 2017 (2018 ?) release...
