He is on the lava villains page, so we could assume he is with them. And cold lava can be black, maybe Magmar ? But no red at all surprise me... I went to see the show after your positive review, and I don't regret it, but oh boy, I wouldn't have use such positive word. Even my 7 years old find it silly Fun but silly. Maybe not as childish as Chima, but maybe more than the few ninjago I have seen. I hope it will be less simplistic later on, as there is some good potential on the storyline (Jestro, the Queen, Macy, Lance...)... (sorry to be of topic)

I checked on youtube. They spent lot's of time in their training room, but it will probably not be a set as we get a mini version in the fortrex. Yet Macy had to fight giants (mech)bots (similar to king's bot but giants...), could be made in a set (not very probable). NB : my fear are confirmed so far, the fight will be boring. Some monsters, moaaaar monster, ohh there is too much, what to do, ohh Merlok give us super cool Nexo Power, we won !!! NB The power in the show is well display/"marketed", zoom on the design, name of the power ("dragon of justice) etc... to let the "child" identify it and crave for it it.

At least, the evil plant theme reach a sweet point between originality and classic evocative theme. Too much "classicity" (an orc army) and it solid but boring. Too much originality and it's become weird (revolt of the mutant farm animals...). Fire creatures and a volcano base are on the super classic side (less with the addition of a evil Jester and his talking book) but they made the best of it with all the minions and diverse lieutenants.

Chima with Flora instead of Fauna

if it happens, probably some carnivorous plant with this head piece ? and a bramble/rose one full of spikes, and a big fig haunted tree man ala Snow White would be cool. A seaweed/swamp guy ? Some organic vehicle ala Monster Minds in Jayce and the wheeled warriors perhaps. But after that, few ideas...

Yes, if you have a iron willpower and a limited budget, better to pass some first wawe sets and go for second wawe with the cool knight hair pieces...

the dreaded "dad-dad-I-want-this-one" christmas 120 euros set. Like the new Bounty, or the Fenix temple... The book carrier with elf hears will probably be in this set. (with some minions, 2 knights, jestro, and 1 or 2 random villains... Fortrex has only 4 minifies, probably 5 or 6 for this one ?). I wander what will be the second biggest good guy set for this second wawe (should be around 70 euros, like Morro Dragon). An other vehicle ? as the biggest is a base ? Or some village raid to not imitate the Fortrex too much ? And maybe a balance set, half good guy, half bad guy like battle of the mech titans... ?

Let's be optimistic, the first wawe prelim didn't look as good as the first wawe final pictures... I am sure that some last minute changes, high resolution images and a lot computer processing will make our wallet bleed... Magmar would be a good name for the iron jaw villains driving the evil mobile in the village attack video...

I love NK minifigs. The vilains, the knights, the minions, the bots, the balls... But because of their plastic blue armor and their sunburn orange face, I really dislike this royal soldiers. In fact I don't remember a (recent) minifigs I dislike more...

regarding the shield, I hope next years, we will get even more different colors for the piece where the print is printed... more trans-colored (pink, purple etc....), maybe even some gold etc... by the way I know it would not happen, and maybe for the best (as the print and the trans pieces colors are often choose to maximize the match or the contrast of the shield within a set) but how cool for the hardcore collectors would it be if they randomize the color of the shield trans-piece within a set. The same print could be in a yellow, green, blue or red trans-piece, and you wouldn't know wich one before to buy the set...

For some sets I was planning to wait the wawe 2 info. I need them mostly for minifigs and books, and was afraid they will come back in summer sets. Knowing the shields (and most probably the books then) are printed, I am going to sell some kidneys and buy them all...

Flama with ninjago ghost legs would have been nice as well.

Nothing new with the farmer ? A bot version will ne nice in a possible village raid set... And yes the new mace for a bot or a bad guy make sense.
