  1. I really like the beetle and the scorpion, well done sir !!!
  2. super cool and not an imitation of the original sets, you get something very fresh going on here, I prefer maybe the first, by himself, the colors of the second one are a bit too bold... still I like the fire one's and the cart a lot as well, maybe without the dark spikes, a bit too "raganesque" ?
  3. agree, but it's a pity it overlaps so much minifgs wise with Misfortune keep... as oppose to the Zeppelin and the Widow Island...
  4. I feel you, building wise it's kind of a mix of those To be honest there is quite a lot of details, but the ultra basic color scheme of the building and the minifigs don't help... For 5$ more and 1 fig less, I still prefer 70756 But if you compare to the 20$ 2508, you get less playability, but much better figs...
  5. I would have prefer dark red instead of black legs... And a dark red abdomen would have been super sweet...
  6. it can be flat right ? they keep showing the siege tower transformation...
  7. books of knights, a bit more info here : http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-dk-lego-nexo-knights-the-book-of-knights-book-found/
  8. I agree. Ninjago designs are less and less "silly". Regarding the possible childiness of buying Ninjago I would argue it depends a lot of what you do with your sets. If you swoosh them all day long, you should probably aknowledge there is still a child in you (which is not necessarly a bad thing). And even fulling shelves with them may hint your child needs were not fully covered. But if you see them as a modelism medium, digging them is no more childish than fetichising on WW2 tanks. Ok the building experience is easy, but by MOCing, especially if you reach some Iron Builder highs, you could genuily impress anyone. People will see creativity and craft more than the bricks...
  9. I don't want more vehicle... Elves (obvisoulsy), Ninjago, and even Chima were better at providing some landscape/temples...
  10. someone post a review here : http://heartlaketimes.blogspot.com/p/lego-elves-me-my-dragon-display-case.html NB : for Lego shop, you should always order at least 50€ (200zl) to get the free shipping... when there is the VIP promo, you get 10% discount instead of 5%
  11. It's still available in the Shop in Poland. But I would not risk it to wait one more month... I received 2 last week. Love the color and the print quality. But I don't like the "carton" feel of the thing (nor the junctions where the card is folding). Would have prefer something more "plasticky". 1 is perfect to play on a table with 2-4 sets. 2 feel right in the middle of a room. I get as well the display box ("me and my dragon display") http://shop.lego.com...Listing=listing but I don't like the carton quality of the box, feels fragile. The plates are not attached, and there is no handle, so it's more to store on a shelve/desk than for the kids to carry around... And it's small. If you have more than 3 sets, the dolls, eggs, animals and accessories will full the thing... And the dark colors are not very elfish. Feel more like a storage than a display. Maybe lego should have try to give a more "dollhouse" feeling ?
  12. A lot of inspiration !! Very simple and creative. I like your stairs in the tree, the fountain, the workshop and the sailor the most !
  13. Beautiful. And the rendering is gorgeous. Did you maybe try with a bit more of (sand) colors ?
  14. and now Skyra castle is 60€ on amazon.fr and .it... 40% discount... (and 30% on half of 2015 sets...)
  15. Hum... Burnzie not so nice with that angle... I will only bricklink the book... Not sure it will be too easy/cheap though... 3 books in the castle is cool by the way...
  16. For our German, Polish, Dutch... friends, Skyra castle costs now only 64€ at amazon.de : http://www.amazon.de...g=amazon0f28-21 (Lava cave for 30€ is not bad as well, http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B012NOJT84?tag=amazon0f28-21). (and 20% off on the market or the water dragon)
  17. Building lego in front of a Lego show is the nerdy version of watching an adult movie while having sex...
  18. Super job, how long does it takes you to do such cool build ? And as said by other comments, with a big purpely trees on each sides it will looks even more elfish and less lego friends
  19. I have just seen the show. And they find Miku flying around on top of montains. Give me more a "wind" feel than "water". Plus Miku comes in a "wind set" and had the wind key in his mouth... But it's super possible TLG didn't decide/care about his element at the time. The "girly" colors could have been chosen to go pretty with the set. Yet, if I had to imagine, seeing white and gold are taken by "Love dragons", I feel TLG could only go beside purple/pink for sky blue "Wind dragon" (red and yellow being too fiery, green too earthy...). And for a water dragon, beside blue, they could have gone towards greenish colors (like turquoise) rather than purpely one...
  20. I am confused. Aren't they all the same molds ? We are talking of the "Medium Azure Dragon, Baby (Miku) (41077) ", right ? This guy. Or maybe (s)he is different in the show ?
  21. In our family, we say it's a rain dragon, crossbred offspring of a blue water dragon and pinkish wind dragon, but don't quote us on that
  22. It was posted here 6 weeks ago, but it's good you reposted it, nobody reacted at the time. It was probably hidden in the flows of info end of January. I agree. among the knights sets, Aaron's crossbow is arguably the prettiest, and Macy's mace the ugliest. But to his defense he had few pieces to play with... Probably not easy to get a good transformation and keep it good looking (still Lance horse imho is kinda ugly but has at least an impressive transformation).
  23. Ok, so I did my maths. If'm not wrong : if you want the 5 eggs and baby dragon : it will cost you 220$/€ (Baby wind Dragon 10$, Inn 30$, Mine 30$, Sanctuary 50$, Castle 100$) for the 5 proper dragons 240$/245€ : (adventure 20$/25€, Cave 40$, Sanctuary 50$, Market 60$, Rescue 70$) for the 10 dragons and the eggs : 410$... After some deep thinking, I believe I will go first for the eggs sets (then maybe the big dragons later, second hand or discounted...). I love the Market place, but it's too perfect, and I like to modify sets... With the eggs I will try to do a Dragon nursery, with 5 nests (1 in a tree, 1 a waterfall...), with the sleeping baby dragon logo from the Starlight Inn as a sign. By the way I would say Elves sets (same for 2005 and 2006 Ninjago), focusing so much on super design, don't incite me to modify them. Whereas Nexo Knight (or Galaxy Squad, or even Ultra Agents), often sacrificing imho look over play feature/transformation encourage me to "improve" them to match their awesome figs... PS : I am not convinced by the Sanctuary crazy colors, but very good value (lots of pieces, a big adult dragon, an egg, a baby dragon, Tidus...) PPS : Not only 1 $ is cheaper than 1€, but also the water dragon adventure is 20$ compare to 25€ in Germany, 27€ in France, 30€ in Finland...
  24. Love the first photo. Very crazy and colorfull build yet balanced. The outside especially. I would love to have that (or at least all those nice pieces...)
