  1. Jeez, they jumped the gun! :o Where can I find their work?
  2. Good, or bad? ;)
  3. I'm putting the sandcrawler and DSII on my birthday list, buying the Vikings with my own money, same with Harry Potter and the second Ep. III wave. The 2006 first wave of sets go on my Christmas list, when I find out what they are. SO MANY GOOD SETS!
  4. No no no... and the modules could be done on differently sized baseplates to decrease cost. Have stuff like a dock, an armory, a prison, a general fortress, and a couple ships for good measure. Nothing too repetitive, so kids will see a reason to get them all.
  5. Ultimate Space Battle, V-Wings, and Harry Potter, of course! Summer birthdays are for Vikings, DSII, Sandcrawler, and KK2.
  6. Did you ever get the ISD? About 90% of the interior was black/gray, with only a few scattered blue/red pieces. That's good news ;) No I don't have my ISD yet (I'll wait for my bday, need funds) Get the DSII instead! Blay over gray - gray is done with.
  7. I hope it's blay, though. It looks to be, from the pics we have of it.
  8. My condoleances :-D Hi tindwcel, our lucky 300th member ;) Welcome to our boards, I hope you appreciate your time with us ;) I think you're abusing your title tool a TAD bit... ;) WELCOME, TINDWCEL! 300, FINALLY!
  9. Did you ever get the ISD? About 90% of the interior was black/gray, with only a few scattered blue/red pieces.
  10. I think a modular Imperial fortress would do well, a la Hogwarts, using baseplates that interlock to create a huge island fortress.
  11. Now what could that other forum could possibly be? Are you.... insinuating something? Yeah, kids are pretty distracted by video games and such these days. Still, no use in complaining about it; it's done. I think LEGO, in light of the lessened interest, should stop trying to appeal to kids so much (coughGALIDORJACKSTONE4JUNIORScough) and make larger, more detailed models. It would make tons by way of AFOLs, to be sure.
  12. That's right... knew it was a kids' channel!
  13. Which is why we should be discussing set ideas more than complaints about old sets! *satis*
  14. That's pretty huge! I love the lava pit and the balcony. Great details!
  15. The one thing I didn't like about the Ninja line was the glider thing - they should've used cloth. Otherwise, it was perfect - lots of nice corner slopes. Too bad it's discontinued.
  16. I think all the Pirate line, including Islanders, was a hell of a lot better than half the sets we're getting now, excepting City and Star Wars. I'm all for a revival of Pirate. I also don't think it's a good use of time to complain about discontinued lines when there's the future to discuss. ;)
  17. I think Jetix is a faction of Cartoon Network. Not sure.
  18. Less; it's a gigantic blay partspack. More non-LSW fans will buy it for the pieces.
  19. All we need is the head, and then it's possible. And someone can make a print for that...
  20. Notice that the magnaguards in the LSW game use his torso, backwards... I forsee magnaguards in our future!
  21. I didn't vote, but I think numero dos would be the better choice, since those 2x1x3 reverse slopes are hard to come by.
  22. Sad face! Oh well. The V-Wing looks horribly out of scale, but it's probably in-scale with the JSF. Wonder if they're making a 'larger' MINI line...
  23. On the poster it says "7:00pm EST" which means it would be on at about 12:00am in the UK *wacko* Jon. Are we even sure it'll be UK'd?
