  1. Hulls were introduced right at the start of the Pirate theme in 1989 but the design compromises didn't come into effect until 1996. Indeed they would increase the cost but they aren't that expensive. Well, they're absolutely huge - maybe twenty, thirty times the size of the average LEGO piece.
  2. Yeah, it looks like they spent more time buffing up the images than the set itself.
  3. These LEGO people and their secrets. LEGO with their tour gift, Eurobricks with their 'surprise'... :-D
  4. But there are MORE children into LEGO. Unfortunately.
  5. Yeah, the walker totally rules - it's #3 at Brickset! :oo
  6. Anyway, I don't know where these theories came from. I'm sure Eurobricks'll do something special, though. ;)
  7. A funny thing is, that I thought it said 300 when I first posted too. Weird indeed, actually it said 300 ;) Now it says 301 BUT Dr Lucky is also supposed to be 301 *wacko* Can someone explain this (I really am in need of this info ;) ) These crappy figs are also in France now :'( I'm quiting cereals :-D Ok, it is partly mine and partly Orlegos fault. You see, he signed up a while ago.. but then he released that he didn't like his username ( :| ) so he re-signed up as Orlego. So, to try and keep our member count accurate I deleted the other username. That is why all members from about 190 (+/- a few) have 1 higher member number than they actually are. Hope you all understand ;) Jon. So the database doesn't automatically change the numers? *wacko*
  8. I like the original better, actually. And we all know 4+ is crap, no need to talk about it!
  9. Good reasons, phes. As for the cost, I think the hulls significantly increased them.
  10. So a child conspiracy would be the pedo-file? :P
  11. Would they really reveal it there? i don't think so, but , off the record, we might get to see something? this is just wishfull thinking from our part... ;) Well, maybe LEGO's been keeping an eye on Eurobricks to stop them from posting any pictures they might have obtained.
  12. Now it shows up... that's damn wicked!
  13. Would they really reveal it there?
  14. They're kind of bland, though - the MINIs need more stickers/prints.
  15. Now we wait for 400... all Eurobricks needs to do is find another 10131-style discovery.
  16. Yeah, 'cause it's too far away from London. ;)
  17. No chance for more shelving? That's an awful small space.
  18. LEGO. NEEDS. TO. MAKE. THAT. :oo
  19. I think the problem with KK2/Aztec sets is/was that they had no distinct SHAPE. This was/is not the case with Pirates/Vikings - very distinct structures.
  20. But AFOLs have more to spend - besides, are larger, more detailed models a deterrent for the younger children? I'd think it'd be an incentive.
  21. You guys'll let us know if LEGO ever gives you a cease-and-desist, right? (I think that's the right term)
  22. I've got LEGO everywhere right now, and even once I get real closet storage, I'll have to dismantle my City/non-ROTS SW to stop it from looking messy. :'(
  23. well, I hope you're talking about the cartoon and NOT the language of Voltaire... :P ;) What's this about Voltaire? He's my favorite philosopher. Gotta love it. And Belgians! I love Belgium, they have great chocolate. I've been there twice (I'm half Belgian, my mom lived there when she was a kid).
  24. I can't see the second image... anyone?
