SuvieD, nobody here hates castle. In fact, we all love castle, and that's why we like to see it done WELL. KK2 was not done well. The piece/price value was horrendous, the construction was absolutely appalling, and half the pieces that WERE there were extremely large and unusable for anything else. The knights were unrealistic (none of the Arthurian legends had rainbow-flavored knights) and basically just bad, as they couldn't be anything other than THOSE KNIGHTS. The old castle sets were perfect. I suggest you buy one Royal Knight's Castle and one Castle of Morcia, compare the two, and then report back.

Well, there's a difference between what I THINK they'll do and what they WILL do. What I THINK they'll do is more storyteller sets. Mace vs. Palpatine, Sidious vs. Yoda, etc. And at least one with a clone trooper.

Me too! But unfortunately the mini-figures I want most are still very expensive, but then again they are quite rare. What are you looking for?

They're really good specialized castle piece parts packs. Other than that, they aren't great. I'm looking forward to Vladek's stuff because it'll be great for modern buildings as well. Lots of polished black stuff.

Shanghai Surprise, Blaze Attack, Ninja Fire Fortress, Emperor's Stronghold, Ninja Knights, Treasure Transport, Ninja Surprise, Samurai Stronghold, Robber's Retreat. I missed both the big ones. :'(

Does anyone know the setting of the battle? Special landmarks, terrain, proximity to wookiee camp, the directions all the armies are coming from, etc.

Yeah, some of this new stuff, it's almost hard to tell if it's supposed to be metallic.

You know, I don't mind gimmicky stuff so long as it's usable elsewhere. Take the larger UFO set, for example. Those fiber optics cables are hot. More stuff like that, that would be fun. But these little things that you can't work with like the LUS... I don't know about them.

I don't know, SYSTEM above $150 hasn't been done in a looooooooong time. We'll see how LEGO works with it.

Well, we can always hope for a Yoda vs. Sidious to fix that.

I sort of like the wheel bike. Sure, it's not GREAT, but it's kind of fun. Not worth $20, but fun.

Those crawlers better be effing GIGANTIC. I just hope half the piece count isn't in just treads.
