  1. It is interesting, though - they're emasculating the DINO sets for Europe? Weird.
  2. Although they did produce the Imperial Star Destroyer and apparently The Death Star II is going to be even bigger... You completely miss the marketing size... The isd sold well because it was not mainnly bought by the AFOLs but by some integrist star wars fans like there are so many around the world... Yeah. The only sets over $100 that really sold well were Star Wars, recently.
  3. Looks great! You should give it a skirt.
  4. The fighter? It'll be part of Ultimate Space Battle in October.
  5. Obi's fighter looks dark red again.
  6. Welcome to the boards! :)
  7. To match our SYSTEM set, I suppose? Any word on the figures, Sam...? ;)
  8. Yeah, for that elite army of captains! ;)
  9. That's one thing you should never ask on Eurobricks - we may not want to know, and we definitely don't want LEGO to know. ;)
  10. He did a nice job with the chrome! :o
  11. Hmmmm... gold buildings... could be fun!
  12. This is discussed in another topic. It's not a hoax, it's just an extremely realistic MOC. We can dream, eh?
  13. Juniorization is the use of a small amount of pieces, most of which are large. World City used the 2x6 wedges and the large curved windows to great extent, and tried to look futuristic. This gave it a very <insert that tiresome argument> feel. The City sets are a HUGE improvement.
  14. Although they did produce the Imperial Star Destroyer and apparently The Death Star II is going to be even bigger... Same price, though.
  15. WELCOME! Always great to have a new face in our ranks. :-D
  16. Well, modern violence. LEGO has recently refrained from giving us guns.
  17. I would be able to come to a Windsor event! I definitely support that.
  18. If we get Vikings, everyone will get Vikings. It's not going to switch. They think they're appealing to the European 'classic' market and the American 'violent, futuristic' market.
  19. I agree about the number of City lines, snefroe. However, I believe there were two reasons for changing from World City to City. One - the color change. Two - the number of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces in World City; they were infamous for it. I therefore think they'll stick with City.
  20. Was it really THAT good a scene? ;)
  21. Yeah, it would separate the community and create tons of bad feelings.
  22. Now just get the Droid Tri-Fighter! The others aren't spectacular.
  23. The clone speeder is accurate, though.
  24. But all those chrome pieces... :oo
  25. I think it'd be around $150. Can't be more than 1500 pieces.
