Bioncile Piecies that integrate with SYSTEM
The Middleman replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Well, pirates didn't really have many tales of mythical creatures. I think the best line for mythical creatures and ships would be an Odyssey/Greek line. And there are quite a few BIONICLE arm pieces, but I don't think I'd want them in system sets. -
We're just asking you not to generalize and insult people, it has nothing to do with hierarchy.

PirateBricks.com - whatever happened to it?
The Middleman replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in LEGO Pirates
We could assimilate them into Eurobricks... :-D -
All my cannon covers are doing fine, what're you doing to your LEGO?

Official LEGO Company Survey

There will be. It's missing from the Goblet of Fire line. The third and final task in the Triwizard Tournament is for the champions to navigate a maze of 20-foot high hedges into the center (facing obstacles such as sphinxes, strange mists, blast-ended skrewts, acromantulas, etc) and to grasp the Triwizard Cup. SPOILERS FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE MOVIE BELOW! The cup turns out to be a Portkey, an object enchanted to, when touched, transport the toucher to a designated location - in this case, the graveyard where Lord Voldemort is restored to his full power once more. -
Only for a bunch of real girly pirates... "Arrrrhhh what cute little bracelets ye be wearing..." "Aye, and ye olde hairbrush be mighty cute" "Thank you! Lets say we all just forget pillaging and plundering and just all go and have tea and play with dolls." "Good idea, and we can ditch our scurvy pirate rags lets wear are tu-tus and prance around in flower beds!" "Excellent idea, this eye patch was screwing up my depth perception... though it did save on my mascara costs." Steve And there was a low rumble in the distance as Phes charged...

Thoughts about Licences and TLC's future
The Middleman replied to SuvieD's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A LOTR LEGO theme would have sold well during the movie releases, when people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities were seeing and loving the movies. That fad's over, LEGO's lost the opportunity. Too bad. -
Did you ever see a PG-13 movie before you were 13? Parents are way less strict about LEGO age recommendations than movie ratings, so I'd expect that the majority of the children purchasing these ARE under 9.

This is good. It shuts up the whiners (they can't whine for a straight year about how it's all going to end, so when it does they'll all be out of steam), and it gives us more old gray. ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING - they're selling SO MUCH that they're having trouble keeping up with production. Anyone hear that? :-D
-
Yes i would like to know... It would be easier to do that than to make your own out of decals I think it might of been mentioned earlier but how much do they cost? $9.99 for all three.
-
They could do it with lions instead.
-
July, I believe. Yeah, that was X'ed out ages ago. ;) I'll have to put it on my birthday list, so long as LEGO doesn't reschedule it.
-
lego2000; whether or not Cody was on Utapau, LEGO may have meant this as a generic army builder set, and therefore included him (as opposed to including him in Grievous Chase, a low-price set for a high-rank fig).
-
Anyone notice that it's almost entirely in blay instead of gray?
-
I'm going to apply that to both my ARCs. GREAT IDEA!
-
I tell you what, if someone is willing to donate an ISD for this "chroming" project, I'll gladly devote the time and money to get it Vac Metalized. :-D I could donate $20-$30. I think that'd be a really cool display piece at LEGO conventions.

What Series do you wish Lego never made
The Middleman replied to V()()D()()'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
But it makes money for them, it's not taking away from other theme opportunities (it's like a company unto itself), and it's spawned a new generation of LEGO fans. I may not be into it, but it is good. -
KMOI, I fully agree with your point about Wolf's insult. It was wrong - Wolf, don't pull that stunt again. You're heading down the same route as our dear departed David. However, I think the real atrocity with this nomenclature is that they are naming her Gali BECAUSE of a BIONICLE set - if they chose it for another reason, it'd be absolutely fine, just a funny coincidence. But knowingly naming someone directly after a faddish toy...

I have plenty of all of those. Do you have any clones?
-
Everyone who cares is going to vote for themselves, and then it's going to be a stalemate.
-
Well, they have the LEGO logo on the back and glued-on magnet legs, so I'm not too excited. Oh well. Oh, and I fixed your title.

Official LEGO Company Survey

The one thing that's lacking from the current Harry Potter line is a maze, which I think would be awesome, but they probably aren't going to do - it's too large. -
How could The Lego Company Improve itself?
The Middleman replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This topic has been thoroughly canvassed in many other places. We've already established that they're ****tards for doing that. Still, no going back, better get used to it. -
They're trying to market to us violent Americans! My greatest fear is that they're going to get a huge market of small children and it'll actually succeed. And as for the mod part, if we got upset every time someone went off topic, we'd be very unhappy people. Only that Hitch thread got closed for being off-topic recently.

Well, EVERYONE hates those. You actually like the monkeys. ;)
