  1. Top stuff, Capt. S. These look great. I look forward to the next in the series. :classic:
  2. Nice job, MiC. Always tricky dealing with a curved front, I think you've done well. You've picked up plenty of details from the reference photos but I take it this loco has a little trouble with curves. Lot's of interesting SNOT work and i'm impressed you managed to cram the old style battery box in so cleanly. :classic:
  3. Coming together nicely, LT. :classic:
  4. Thanks for the tip, I'll be on the lookout. :classic:
  5. Fingers crossed. Like many people I don't really need a sorter, I just want a great big minifig head. :-) :classic:
  6. Roger that mate. All good. More variations the better I reckon. I'm keen to see what you come up with. :classic:
  7. That is cool. I love real world Lego use. :classic:
  8. *laugh* Good on you Gregorovich for your MOC but if you can't rotate the images it might be an idea not to rotate the camera in the first place. I look forward to your next upright creation. ;-) :classic:
  9. Thanks for that roamingstudio but I see this as CCOOK's original work. There are only so many ways to build extra glass into an EN car and keep it consistent with the rest of the train. It's hard to comment because I'm obviously biased and made different design decisions but I think this is a fine effort. I hadn't thought of a shorter car, the interior tweaks are nice and the repeated beige diamonds to tie in with the custom double deck cars is a good idea. Well done, CCOOK. I still want your baggage car and 2nd and 3rd class coaches. :classic:
  10. Great work, Brickster. Picks up many details from the real thing. :classic:
  11. Doh, missed out on that. I hope they get some replacement stock in. :classic:
  12. Thanks Legoless, for your feedback. I share your appreciation for historic railway engineering. The signal box is now enjoying it's spot at the far end of my new station. :classic:
  13. No worries, Andy D. Good luck with your build, I look forward to seeing the results. :classic:
  14. Ah, I see. A sliding assembly instead of just a free axle with room to move. Somewhat reminiscent of the sliding wheel assembly in midsection of the Lego Tram. Thanks for fishing out the photos, I'll have to give it a go. :classic:
  15. Top job, alois. I guess it's a subjective thing because I think the yellow works fine with the beige. :classic:
  16. The road house is coming along nicely, LT. I must admit I had some reservations about your choice of Maccas but clearly you've got a local reference to go on, so good luck with it. Since you forgot one of your usual tag lines I'll have to say...Keep on flipping those burgers! :classic:
  17. Another mighty fine model, Sava. True to form you've nailed the details from the reference pic. Can you please point me to which photoset shows Swoofty's three wheel truck design, didn't know where to start from his front page. I'm assuming you just give the central axle room to slide side to side. Again, well done with your latest loco. :classic:
  18. Top work, alanboar. This is a great construction. :classic:
  19. Far out, what a great creation. :classic:
  20. Nice one benny. You've done a good job replicating the real thing. That station in the background looks the business too. :classic:
  21. What a nice little locomotive. You've done a good job replicating the details from your reference pic. Great work. :classic:
  22. Great work Cinderbike, you've captured plenty of details from the original. The flip open cab is a nice touch for better playability. :classic:
  23. That's a fabulous locomotive Sava. What a fantastic creation and to have it fully track compatible is amazing. How do you do it? (You've proabably shown in the gallery so treat that as semi-rhetorical.) Ah now I see, 2nd and 5th wheels flanged, nice. Thanks for the introductory text too. A masterful job. Well done mate. :classic:
  24. Great cars in a nice setting. I like those brick built cacti. Very good job. :classic:
  25. Top job, TRB. Cool design. :classic:
