  1. I thought I'd done rather well on eBay today, but my housemate returned from Smyth's with a BAGFULL of Mixels. They were labelled as £2.99 but came up at £1.49 at the checkout. Hence the WHOLE carrier bag's worth! Worth looking into.
  2. Ooh, I like it. Suitably, horrifyingly gripping. Swinging pendulum mechanism next...? Motorised? (Too much...?)
  3. into
  4. Excellent economy of bricks. Nice. The shape puts me in mide of those ancient Egyptian (I think) boats made from bundles of reeds lashed together. Defo a getaway boat from a desert island!
  5. Amazing attention to detail with the surround for the base. Sets it off perfectly!
  6. Excellently done! Have you heard about lovely Rita? Apparently she's leaving home to become a pirate... p.s. Pirate Paul's not dead!
  7. That is a stunning build! Congratulations, Avenger! I love the crazy paving. Any chance you could show us what lies beneath the surface of the courtyard & building facades? I realise that might spoil the magic somewhat, but I'd love to learn how such beautiful effects are put together.
  8. Greetings! Hello everyone, and thanks for having me aboard. My name is George and I've been 'playing' with Lego since before I can remember. I've always been an AFOL, but now my journey begins in earnest; a few shrewd bulk purchases here & there on eBay mean I have the makings of a brave new world of MOCs. Areas of interest: Post-apocalyptic zombie pirates (I firmly believe this hasn't been done to death yet!) Power Functions (self-assembling structures, to be precise) Modelling real-world mechanisms in Technic (suspension, power-transfer... not sure where I'm going with this yet) I have to admit there's always the appeal of original sets; sometimes you can't beat the thrill of opening fresh, new packets and following the instructions! For now, revisit one of the builds that's made me very interested: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82003 Can't wait to check out all the exciting builds around here
  9. This is a drill1 This is not a test2 Testing, testing, won too free! Please feel free to use these letters for your own alt builds! No it's not. Yeah, it is. Thank you for your attention; as you were!
