  1. The more I think about this set the more I wonder is it going to be anywhere near as good as 8043,when u think about it were not getting near as much parts for the same or more money than the excavator, yes it might be the new 8868 but it might be a lot of money to get just 1 m motor in the box don't ye think,I'm just wondering are we ever going to get an other set like 8043 again!don't get me wrong I will buy this set but will we get the same value as we did from 8043 with all those pf parts in one box ;)
  2. Very nice truck,I love lots of functions too,how did u make the light bar?what's bulbs did u use?
  3. Me too,what's the big secret ;(
  4. I have no issues with my switching ether but I am using the more expensive energiser lithium aa batteries,my 8043 is used everyday for the last 7-8 weeks and it still has the great power and torque as the day I put them in,alkalines are a waste of money ,lithiums don't ever drain and last 8 times longer and I always have great power.
  5. I taught we were going to get them July ;(it's a long wait tho,
  6. Is there an official release date for the 8110 yet or when are the normally available in Europe ?

  8. Iv just Looked up the parts I need to fully rc the loader and it's nearly 90 euro, very expensive don't u think !maybe I should be just adding power function set and forget about the rc even tho it would be nice.
  9. Thank u for the links!can u buy la,s and other normal parts through the Lego shop too?
  10. Ok today I picked up my new 8265 front loader but I want to make the fully rc model with la steering,iv the file downloaded for full instructions so all I need now is all the extra parts,I won't want the 2 remotes as I can use mine off my 8043 for both models,my question is where do I get my extra parts needed ie motors/ir receivers and all the rest? I want to get them the cheapest way possible and they will need to be shipped to Ireland with no problems too.Any links would be good to! Thanks in advance, David.
  11. Thanks for the pics the flatbed looks really nice and detailed for a model of it's size, wonder has it la,s or how is it tilted and slide?

  13. After a hard find I have currently found a front loader 8265'one shop in Ireland has 2 left in stock and I'm picking it up tomorrow,I want to fully motorise it so what's the best, the worm gear steering or the la steering? Also where's the best place to buy my extra parts needed?

  15. Has anyone seen pics of any of the other 2h models yet?
  16. I have to admit I taught it would look a slight bit better and the wheels and tires just don't look anything like the real one,it should have the huge treads on the tires with black wheels, apart from that tho I love it as it's like the new 8868.
  17. Very nice to finally see pics, any pics of the flatbed or xtream cruiser yet?
