I'd get 8258 while u still can,iv got it at Christmas and I'm glad I did now,there getting impossible to get now in Ireland too as it's a 09 model,the unimog will be available for a long time and when u build the truck u will want to buy more sets trust me! Iv a fiancee too and iv bought 7 sets since November last :) Did u not concider buying 8043 by any chance? Personally my favourite set even over 8258!

What was the march release set 2010?

Personally not into technic cars and the rear of that is the worst I ever seen,great review by the way,do technic always bring out a set on it's own in march every year?or is it regarded as a 1h set?

Ur right about that , both of them are like direct copy's of our 8265 and 8043 , well done! I really do love my 8043 , best technic set ever I think by a mile :)

I wonder will we get news on what Extream cruiser is soon or will it be nearer release date? Has Lego done this before?

Has many bought this set,the question is,is it a must buy set?

This can be moved if wanted but I'm very curious what is the exact real life model of the 8043,what make model/tone excavator are they going off?also what's the real life model of the 8265 front loader,I'm curious to know what real life scale Lego compare or go by.

I think i have a technic addiction as i always have to be building or buying new sets :) since november 2010 iv 7 sets bought and built and all are large expensive sets :)anyway this set might be my last hope untill the 2h2011 sets come out,im more into large pf sets but this set is growing on me,is it worth buying???

Had nothing in mind ,I have it all disasembled so was trying to come up with ideas,only reason I bought it was for the return of pneumatics :) maybe the extra parts wil come in usefull as add on,s for 8110 when it comes out,maybe for an attachment for the front.let's wait and see :)

I'm really liking the look of this truck,does anyone have any ideas how it's going to work ie the tilt and slide mechanism? La or gear driven,I think it's a real eye catcher too :)also will it be the same scale as the blue container truck or bigger?

Don't know why it's such as secret as anything mentioned above seems boring to me anyway,I'd of taught it might be some sort off jeep ie hummer etc!

I still can't seem to find a construction man figure in that larger size!

Just wondering where would I get a minifigure for my 8043'id like a construction man ,also is technic min figures bigger than normal Lego figures?
