  1. The Red Arrow Ideas set definitely should have made it. LEGO keep passing on sets that would be hugely popular if released; this is the second time now I've disagreed with an Ideas decision (first being that excellent Agents of SHIELD set being rejected).
  2. Little Bo Peep from the Toy Story franchise would be the new-born child.
  3. LEGO is also making a load more money than Hasbro and Mattel. Sony Pictures was competition for Disney, but they struck a deal to share Spider-Man. Twentieth Century Fox was competition for Disney, but Disney bought them. Whilst I don't think a Twentieth Century Fox situation will happen, I could see a Sony Pictures scenario being possible.
  4. Then there's no point in having a Harry Potter CMF. Those are the characters most people want to see.
  5. With the combination of two giant companies in LEGO and Disney, I don't think it would be too hard for them to strike a deal with the companies that own Mr Potato Head and Barbie. Personally, I would find it a shame if there was ever a point where we'd stop getting these games. They're always great fun, and much better than the so called 'hardcore' games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto.
  6. The house ghosts are fine, but I've never had a desire to own them in LEGO form. The list as a whole seems pretty weak, with hardly any significant characters. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a Harry Potter CMF series to at the very least include Dumbledore, Hagrid and Voldemort.
  7. They're not the same game. Each one has introduced something new, whether its dinosaurs or superpowers, and in my view the LEGO games are always top quality. I don't think I've played one bad LEGO videogame.
  8. I doubt we'll see any Toy Story characters, because there are enough characters in that franchise to cover a game. I also imagine that they will probably release a Toy Story game to tie in with the fourth movie when that's released.
  9. So two characters who aren't all that interesting then. I know Peeves wasn't in the films but he'd be a much better choice for a minifigure.
  10. Those are exactly the kind of names I would expect though.
  11. If this is true it's a pretty weak line-up. No idea who 'Roland Stunt' or 'Thick Monk' are supposed to be and there are a lot of key characters missing, the most obvious being DUmbledore, Hagrid and Voldemort. Plus the absence of Newt, Tina and Jacob seems a bit strange.
  12. I think Wall-E is pretty likely given it's unlikely there will be a Wall-E 2 to justify a videogame based around it.
  13. Eurogamer have confirmed LEGO DC Villains is a thing: https://mynintendonews.com/2018/01/16/eurogamer-says-lego-incredibles-and-lego-dc-villains-rumour-is-spot-on/ Great news. It's about time the villain story mode of the first LEGO Batman got its own game!
  14. Eurogamer have confirmed this definitely follows the plots of both movies: https://mynintendonews.com/2018/01/16/eurogamer-says-lego-incredibles-and-lego-dc-villains-rumour-is-spot-on/ Thank God for that. I was a bit concerned when the rumour stated it was going to be called 'LEGO Incredibles 2'. Hopefully that's just a placeholder name and the real title is 'LEGO The Incredibles: The Videogame'. Also: apparently there are "more than a few nods to other famous Pixar franchises.”, so we might get other Pixar characters in the character roster.
  15. There's not really much else they can do as a Guardians Infinity War set, unless they have some sort of new vehicle or a gadget that would make a good LEGO build.
  16. I was surprised they never brought the Villain story mode idea back, because it was a brilliant idea. I find the concept of a LEGO DC Villains game far more exciting than another LEGO Batman.
  17. It will be a lot of fun paying as various villains trying to achieve their masterplans without the likes of Batman, Superman and the Flash getting in the way.
  18. https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-incredibles-2-and-dc-villains-video-game-rumored-to-be-coming-out/ This could make for an interesting LEGO game. I loved the villain story mode from the first LEGO Batman game; it was a shame LEGO never brought that back for future games. Hopefully they'll do one for Marvel villains eventually too.
  19. I'm guessing it's fair to assume it will follow the plot of both movies. It would be stupid to only do Incredibles 2 in LEGO videogame form, given that it follows on directly from the first movie.
  20. They weren't really villains as such, which I thought was a mistake for a regeneration story.
  21. That Milano Thanos set is so cool. Glad I don't already have a Milano set.
  22. I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend. I thought if anything it would be a compliment if you're not actually middle class and somehow managed to afford a ridiculously expensive LEGO set.
  23. You must be middle class to be able to save up money for what I gather was an expensive set (don't know anything about Star Wars). If you can afford a D2C Hogwarts, then you must have a reasonable pile of money at your disposal.
  24. Looks like a small set. Will LEGO release something bigger that'll cost £55, I wonder?
  25. Yeah, middle-class people can. The rest of us can't. Even £80 with the old set seemed a little over-priced IMO. £65/£70 would be more like it. True. I can't imagine many would be able to afford to give £500 to LEGO for a Hogwarts set.
