  2. Personally I think we should have both. Ian Malcolm is one of the series' most iconic characters.
  3. Is it just me, or does LEGO have an Anti-Jeff Goldblum agenda?
  4. Whether the fans count it as canon doesn't matter. JK Rowling does; she is the official source, not fans. Also: having read Cursed Child, I don't see anything that makes it specifically adult. I think kids would be able to enjoy it too. I disagree, you could easily slot some into option two or three. Just have more variety in characters.
  5. I disagree, ignoring Cursed Child is ignoring a part of the series canon.
  6. It's nowhere near as bad as people make out. No reason why LEGO couldn't start making sets based off stage plays if they wanted.
  7. The LEGO Batman Movie did well at the box office. I don't get why Warner Bros would be disappointed with that film's BO performance.
  8. It's totally canon. JK Rowling says so.
  9. That's a very exciting coming soon. They better not forget Cursed Child.
  10. Wow, you must be millionaires.
  11. I think we should hold a referendum on this first, and invest on some virtual buses to travel around the forum delivering lies about keeping politics out of the thread benefitting the NHS.
  12. Agreed, it feels like the right time for a fresh start. I hope for a completely different contrast in tone from the Moffat era, akin to the big tonal shift from RTD to Moffat.
  13. Yeah, at this point I'd be more shocked if he survives. I bet his death is what Tony Stark looks so upset about in the trailers.
  14. Meanwhile Theresa May is in a straightjacket in her office screaming "STRONG AND STABLE, STRONG AND STABLE, STRONG AND STABLE!"
  15. Got my first Brickhead through the post today (Star Lord), and they're a bit small aren't they? Not sure they're worth £9.99. I'll probably limit myself to my absolute favourite characters now - whereas before I saw how small these things actually are I'd have considered buying Captain Jack Sparrow for a price up to £12. Shame LEGO didn't decide to make them a bit bigger.
  16. Five of the same set? Are you mad?!?
  17. I'm sure the first Simpsons CMF was standard Simpsons family minifigures. If they were going to do variants surely they'd go for something less out there like Harry and Ron in the Weasley jumpers knitted by Molly? But not as blurry as that, surely? Why blur something out beyond visibility if you have nothing to hide?
  18. I would direct an adaptation of the excellent Time Riders book series by Alex Scarrow. All nine books are ripe for cinematic adaptation, and I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet. Personally I'd make the tone quite dark like the later Harry Potter movies, but I wouldn't want it so dark that you lose all heart and warmth as with the DCEU. I'd still want the individual characters to be able to shine and have their own fun moments - Liam with his bumbling Irish charm, Bob and his literal robot meat machine self, Maddy as the mother-like figure in a dysfunctional family trying to keep control, Sal with her sweetness and sort of like the kid of the 'family'. I'd have the guts to keep the time cycle where the characters live the day before and the day of 9/11 over and over again too. I'd ignore the potential insensitivity of whether it is too soon to show 9/11 on-screen and go straight ahead. I'd stick pretty close to the books as I don't think there's anything that would really need to be changed. They'd work as they are as films.
  19. I don't see what problem that picture's supposed to be highlighting.
  20. That Brickhead picture is way too blurry. Makes me suspect it's fake.
  21. Nah, I think the first wave of minifigures will be normal Harry, Ron and Hermione. Variants will come later.
  22. Who's ever watched Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets and thought they'd really like Cat Hermione as a minifigure? i also don't see the point in Harry/Ron, Goyle/Crabbe minifigures unless you mean just as they are about to turn back into Harry and Ron.
  23. I agree, the in-game designs look much better. I think this is going to be an Incredible game to play.
  24. As long as they are available worldwide, or I will be writing a strongly worded email of complaint to LEGO.
