  1. You automatically expect when those franchises are included that they will continue to have things released for them though.
  2. I think many Whovians who bought the game because of the Doctor Who content will be ****ed off at LEGO if they don't do any more Doctor Who content. Same with fans of other year one brands too.
  3. Why's everyone going on about what is or isn't visually interesting? Who actually cares? I for one certainly don't buy NFC minifigures based on whether they are visually interesting and I doubt many of the casual audience do. I buy based on the characters I want to play as. Besides, I still don't see how being human makes the human Doctor Who characters visually uninteresting. It's not like they have generic looks; they all dress different and wear clothes that are iconic and stand out. Yes, you could have one companion figure that allows you to play as them all but there are so many companions that how would they choose which to include? Also: Rory is definitely not the only companion who is visually distinct. They are all visually distinct from each other and Bill would be the most likely for inclusion considering she is the next companion. I really hope the reason why a companion NFC minifigure hasn't been released is because Traveller's Tales have been waiting for the new companion to make her debut because otherwise there is no reason to have the Doctor without a playable companion just like Harry Potter without both Ron and Hermione would be inexcusable.
  4. How is this not visually interesting: I completely disagree. LEGO Dimensions is about playing with characters you love and mashing them with other franchises. The target audience care about characters they are familiar with or from brands that they enjoy, not how interesting they are to look at. And many of the companions ARE visually interesting anyway. Plus: who wouldn't want to see Rose Tyler and Peter Venkman fight Death Eaters in Jurassic World?
  5. Futurama was made for a younger audience than The Simpsons, therefore there's no reason why Futurama couldn't be included. To me, it's not the abilities that make playing as the characters fun though. It's the ability to play as the characters you love and want to see interact with characters from other franchises. I couldn't care less about the abilities personally, I just want to be able to play as Bill and Missy from Doctor Who in addition to the Doctor at the very least. But that's not the point though. The point is that the Doctor feels odd without a companion. I'd rather see a companion as the next Doctor Who NFC minifigure than a non-companion so you can have the Doctor with his companion on the Toy Pad.
  6. They don't need abilities. It would just be fun to play as those characters. The Doctor doesn't feel right without a companion.
  7. Clara - 'regeneration' ability of the Doctor only with splinters Ian Chesterton - seeing as he's a teacher, he could have a lot of the intelligence-based abilities like hacking and technology. Leela - She could carry a knife as a weapon and throw it at LEGO targets. Grace - She's a Doctor so she could have some sort of new ability based around healing. A few examples off the top of my head. Bill may always show some skills in Series 10 that would make her a useful NFC minifigure. I don't think it matters anyway, it just seems odd being able to play as the Doctor and not a companion.
  8. Yes, that would be perfect.
  9. It's hard to say yet given she hasn't been onscreen (bar the minisode).
  10. Question is: would they get Ben Affleck onboard?
  11. Doctor Who really needs a companion NFC minifigure. Hopefully they're waiting until Bill has made her debut and releasing her as a minifigure. Maybe a Story Pack with Bill based on Series 10 for year three?
  12. I meant the 1000000 people who deliberately took the time to dislike it.
  13. I hope Tina's a good character because it would be annoying if she isn't when she's getting a LEGO Dimensions pack.
  14. I don't see why they wouldn't. In fact, they'll probably include Pirates of the Caribbean in LEGO Dimensions with a Story Pack based on the new film.
  15. Proof once again that some people are pathetic.
  16. Yeah, the actual minifigure is good.
  17. Wow, wasn't expecting it to be as cheap as £50. That's better value than the 1984 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set.
  18. I doubt we'll see Finn. I think if anything we might see his father because if he's more likely to be aware of things like Adam West Batman that we already know the film references.
  19. I actually don't like the ring piece. It looks too cheap.
  20. Amazon UK are always stupidly behind like that.
  21. I wonder if you'll be able to play Quidditch?
  22. Please let it be LEGO Doctor Who: The Videogame...
