  1. Looking good Anio, I like the green version a lot - never a huge yellow fan - if only we had enough purple coloured pieces as a Mace Eta would look fab...
  2. Thanks and will do. I tried to make the engine nozzles match the general outline shape with a little detail for interest - probably happy with that end. Got some parts ordered to have a play with the wings next....
  3. Its a great build with excellent instructions - so much so I'm enjoying isaachertzog building experience as well.
  4. Second the other comments - looks great and I'd love to see it in real bricks. Can't have enough Trek lego...
  5. Thanks both - managed to add some support struts to the stand so at least now it wobbles less!
  6. Good morning all, Second MOC and first non SW, I wanted a larger scale Buck Rogers Thunderfighter than the sort of minifig scale models out in the wild at the moment - and so my prototype v1 is shared looking for ideas/suggestions/feedback. Currently 72cm long and 44cm wide. Key areas I need to play around with again include the two things bugging me most at the moment - the front nacelles and sizing/shaping the ventral and main wings....wings looks decent from the side but top view they look out, ditto the ventral wings. Trying to make the nacelles work from my 6 x 6 starting point is currently defeating me...(I did intend to start with 8 x 8 but the size then would have been beyond my budget...and skills) (Apols for the pics - its phone camera and the landing as the dining room table is currently oos due to Christmas...) Interior is currently white and basic and should be black, but I'm not a fan of black interiors so I'll swap it down the line to another colour... Thanks for looking and do please share any cunning / wizzo ideas to improve the build. Cheers G (the folder should be public once mod approved at Buck Rogers Brickshelf folder )
  7. A thing of beauty....expensive....but a beautiful ship none the less...looks awesome.
  8. There are two Delta 7 versions, the 7 (droid in wing) and 7B (droid in the centre line) - Lego released both models under the same Jedi Starfighter name - this of course is the standard Delta 7. The current release of 75214 is Anakin's Delta 7B
  9. I'd build it for display so to be honest I don't mind the ratcheted version.
  10. No worries thanks for the heads up.
  11. Right then - instructions in place - time to dig out the bricks that I already have over the weekend and the BLing can commence....
  12. Just paid for this little beauty's instructions....now rubbing hands with glee....
  13. Sadly UK seems to be the same....
  14. R3-T2 in 75198 - according to the SW wiki - R3-T2 (Arthree-Teetoo) was an R3-series astromech droid who was the property of an abusive crew of pirates. By the year 0 BBY, R3-T2 had escaped its owners and roamed the streets of the desert planet Tatooine's Mos Eisley spaceport, avoiding capture by its former masters. R3-T2 appears in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope as one of the droid extras roaming the Mos Eisley spaceport during the arrival of Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.[3] The droid was first identified by name and given a brief backstory on the "R3-T2 (Arthree-Teetoo)" card from the 1998 Special Edition Limited expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game from Decipher, Inc.[8'
  15. Np - please share how you get on - good luck!
  16. Hi Mitch, Same for me using UK S@H - no Mud trooper figure with just buying Vader's Castle - seems being a pre-order they are treating it as outside the promo window.
  17. Top quality greebling - love this build - great pics thanks for sharing bricksmarlin - top job!
  18. Same in the UK S@H site - 75218 X-wing and 75208 Yoda's Hut double VIP points through Oct 1st to 31st.
  19. Hi Ludo, Welcome to the forum. It you search back through the topic you will find some ideas of cost from people who have built the MOC - it does depend on: i) what pieces you already have ii) your sourcing approach and location and iii) if your buying new or used bricks. You will also find some possible swap out pieces (engine and some internals etc) I received my manual within about 10 tens but it does depend on how busy Mirko is day job wise.
  20. Its' like Christmas is coming early....
  21. Sweet - looking forward to add this baby to sit next to his big bro...
  22. The LDD file is in the final entry of the link provided by marcanadell4 - sixth image along with the LDD graphic - click to download.
  23. Not so far on my mine - I've not built my UCS Slave I, but the other UCS sets on stands (X-Wing (2nd one), Y-wing (old and new), Snowspeeder (old and new), Tie Advanced and Tie Interceptor are all fine - the oldest ones have been on the stand for 9/10 years now and all fine. I periodically give them a dust down and move them around to avoid any sun bleaching and the stands all seem as good as new.
