Well the 2006 Joker isn't based on the animated Hamill version, though I used to think it was Nicholson because of the eyebrows, something the animated version doesn't have. Instead, its actually based off his appearance in the Killing Joke. The figure nearly has the exact same facial expression that Brian Bolland drew him with on the cover and the outfit is the same black shirt, orange vest, green tie combination in the book, though I do think the flower Lego printed looks inspired by BTAS.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but others are saying the same thing. As for the arms, I was thinking maybe using and erasing the printing on the molded Poison Ivy arms might work for those who want Arrow to have some kind of arm detail. -

As much as I was looking forward to Green Arrow having arm printing, I can live without it. His lack of goatee is disappointing if that isn't a new Green Lantern head, I mean I know the masks looked identical even in the concept art but the goatee and hair were literally the only details that set GA and GL apart. At least the figure is perfect besides that. I'll probably end up using that head for Hal either way. -

I messed up, I forgot I use a custom Captain Cold that uses what I think is medium azure, a huge difference over the medium blue the official one uses. But sandpaper? A pencil eraser is enough to erase prints, which is what i did with the spooky boy legs for Batman. Anyway, I just noticed Condiment King's stains on his face, and I'm a bit disturbed because I'm thinking he just uses his guns to stuff his mouth full of mustard or ketchup out of boredom or when he thinks no one is looking. -

Captain Cold boots, if they're the right shade of blue. -

I think we had a fair number of sets, but everything was expensive. The only set that I think wouldn't sell well especially would be the Two Face set. Even i'm growing a bit tired of Batman, which is why I'm glad the next CMF wave seems to be mainly Super Friends and other DC characters, but there are plenty of villains and variants that they could make that would get my interest. This is why I think they should have went with Ventriloquist, Hush, Mad Hatter, Maxie Zeus, Firefly, maybe even Deadshot, over people like Calculator, Mime, and Tarantula. It was fun seeing all these villains but theres a point where there are obscure characters that are notable and fun and look great as a minifigure to those that don't. -
Y'all are crazy, what we really need is a big bridge set for DC that lets fans of all ages reenact Dex-Starr's origin story.

Its going to be Jurassic Park's 25th anniversary next year, and i know that Mattel is going all out with merchandise for that. So im hoping Lego does sonething for at least the first film in late 2018-2019. Heres to hoping Ian Malcolm has enough of a substantial role in fallen kingdom to get a figure.

El Dorado! That captain boomerang is definitely just a placeholder, and Gentleman Ghost does seem to have hair molded on his hat. I like that they included the batkayak in the shuttle set too. I hope Condiment King isnt stuck with those stud shooters, i really prefer the way his ketchup and mustard guns were built in the movie using that smoothie piece. -
It looked like Wonder Woman is fighting Ron Burgundy with a spear in the lex set. Placeholders are weird. Mighy micro sets look alright, but I need that kandor piece and now im interested in seeing the Joker and Nightwing figures better.

Yeeeeeessss! 5 sets is good enough. The 3 juniors sets cant be disappointing as long as they include actual molded dinosaurs.

Man, this CMF wave is basically a DC CMF line at this point, it's great! Those packets will probably be so highly sought after though, I hope I don't find them sold out all the time. I'm just so excited for this wave, and I really hope we get that tropical Joker figure. -

I know fans have been wanting Wayne Manor since 2006, so a normal version would be completely fine. I feel like we've gotten enough Jokerland stuff anyway. I imagine it'd be similar to this theme's Arkham except with a more detailed interior, hopefully modular level stuff this time. -
I haven't seen the movie yet (I know I'm going to see it sometime, I already missed TLBM in theatres) but you ought to take this to the superhero minifig customization/purist forum

Whaaaaat? I thought that smile was perfect for especially comic Superman, it's like he's smiling at civilians after saving the day! Although the fact that it's paired with the angry laser face is a bit funny, but it does make sense when kids play with it and they want Kal's expression to quickly change from fighting a villain using laser vision to just happy.

Yay, I've been wanting Terrence Stamp Zod! If it's true at least. Jor-El should be cool too, I'd hope he'd have some robe printing under the armor they put on him for some reason. -

I was looking through clips of the movie and now I want Joker's vacation outfit from the end credits because he's got his tropical shirt from the killing joke! -
Exactly my thoughts. I'm just hoping this is yet another sign that Xmen stuff isn't that out of the question.

The CW Arrowverse - What Sets Would You Want?
vstat05 replied to TheGeekMeister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Same, honestly I'd rather we continue to get inspiration for characters and, like you said, locations in comic/animated based sets rather than getting them directly based on any live action shows.- 19 replies

I doubt it's licensed to solely WB, it was reused in an orangish color on an archer minifigure from the team gb cmf series. Other than that, we can only guess that they simply decided to budget certain pieces to save costs, like they've been doing to Lex Luthor by giving him 2012 Bruce Wayne's head for the third time.

Marvel has been getting at least 9-10 sets since 2014, so unless something changes this year, I think Marvel is safely getting everything, at least movie wise. We've only got Aquaman as a DCEU release in 2018, so there's plenty of room for sets from that movie and the comic sets. As for animated Spider-Man, its a mixed bag for the TV show, as in we'll probably see some inspiration once in a while just like we did for "ultimate" spider sets. But the Miles Morales movie is completely off the table, since it's being made by Sony. I haven't heard about any kind of involvement from Marvel or Disney, and since they hold the merchandise rights, they are not going to promote a film they have no involvement in.

I don't think so, in the clear images we have, it looks like the pieces just sit on top of the minifigure hand like a stud. I feel like the descriptions would mention if they actually shoot, since all they say is that they're included for customization.

Yay, I'm liking all these figures! Although another disappointment for those wanting Flash and Reverse Flash are that the symbols don't match.
